Philip sits on the board of the United States Equestrian Team Foundation, the United States Equestrian Federation, the Revs Institute, and the Pray Family Foundation. Philip is also Chairman of the Lake Placid Horse Show and serves as Co-Treasurer of the Hampton Classic Horse Show. Outside of the horse world, Philip is also the President of Hollow Brook Wealth Management, LLC, a full service, SEC registered, wealth management firm. Philip is a graduate of Boston College and holds an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business. Guest: Scott Neuman is the Director of Competitions at the American Quarter Horse Association. (Feb 6, 2025) Lake Placid is hosting World Cup ski jumping this weekend and a local raised money for the women's prize money; we head back in time, before there was an Adirondack Park, to explore the life of an early guide and perhaps the Adirondacks' first "forest ranger"; and students in Adirondack Regional Theatre's Youth Winter Camp will premiere their original play, "The Magic Before Us," tonight at the Strand Center for the Arts in Plattsburgh.

Suffolk County police look at changing their human trafficking investigations. U.S. Senator Chris Murphy was up at 3 a.m. talking on the floor to oppose President Donald Trump's nomination to lead the Office of Management and Budget. Connecticut Attorney General William Tong says the state will commit to protecting gender-affirming care. Plus, the ski jump world cup hosted at Lake Placid start today.

(Feb 6, 2025) Lake Placid is hosting women's World Cup ski jumping this weekend, the first time it's being held in the United States. The event is drawing attention to unequal pay between men and women. An Adirondack athlete is raising funds for more women's prize money. Also: State and federal officials want New Yorkers to be prepared for when federal REAL ID requirements go into effect this spring.

In this special Empire State Winter Games episode of Legally Bond, Kim speaks with Tracy Smith, Executive Director of the Adirondack Sports Council. Tracy discusses the mission of the Adirondack Sports Council in promoting sports and driving economic growth in New York. She also talks about the 2025 Empire State Winter Games, which will bring over 2,500 athletes to Lake Placid and surrounding areas to participate in over 20 events. This year, Bond is a proud sponsor of the ESWG Torch Relay. The torch travels over 700 miles across New York State before arriving in Lake Placid where the athlete of the year lights the cauldron to kick off the start of the games during the opening ceremonies on January 30. 

Jan. 21, 2025 - The 2026 Winter Olympics are scheduled for Italy in about a year, but sliding events could end up being held at facilities in Lake Placid if the Italian organizers can't get their bobsled track ready. Ashley Walden, president and CEO of the state's Olympic Regional Development Authority, discusses upstate New York's potential role in next year's games and Lake Placid's potential as a proper host site.
