This week's guest: Hello, my name is Elvin Carter and I am a Gospel artist who loves Jesus Christ, and wants to use this gift to minster to people. I have been singing all my life and am now putting a CD together. I can’t do anything but praise the Lord for everything He has done for me. I was raised in southern Maryland and despite enduring a rough childhood, I found Christ. The one thing that drew me to Christ was His love and I have been living for Him since. I have been ministering through music at church events since I was young. Then, through Christ’s calling upon my life, I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina where my aunt and cousin encouraged me to put demos together and to start writing songs. God put everything else in place. I recently put my demo together and have gained exclusive rights to all of my music. Afterward, God lead me to another Christen artist who has been helping me book shows. I recently performed at Duke Divinity School and am scheduled for other shows this season. I give all the glory to God for He is the One that has organized my life. I trust that if I follow God’s will everything will work out for my good. I pray this music is a blessing to many. In addition to music production my wife and I have been ordained as Youth Directors of New Generation International Miniseries in Richmond, VA. Our duty is to bring souls to Christ. That is my only mission!
