Mauricio Mesones es nuestro invitado, representante importante de la música tradicional y cumbia peruana, quien lleva más de 20 años de carrera y que por 11, estuvo como vocalista de la agrupación Bareto. Hace 3 años inició su carrera en solitario con todos los desafíos que ello conlleva, pero con convicción y un objetivo claro, posicionar la música peruana que lleva en su sangre desde que es niño. Christian “Big New York” de Mesones has been playing bass guitar for over 40 years. He was only 18 years old when he graduated from the world-famous Bass Institute of Technology (now the Musician's Institute) in Hollywood, California. Christian has been part of several musical groups all over the country, including bands out of Hawaii, Hollywood, New York City, and Richmond, Virginia, and has performed a wide variety of musical styles. He laid tracks for local hip-hop artists, and played with various groups, performing R&B, Caribbean, Latin, and Smooth Jazz. As bassist for Big Patt & Legion, he opened for several national recording artists such as Down to the Bone, Marion Meadows, Bob Baldwin, Chuck Brown, and Roberta Flack. Christian has returned to his roots, focusing on the deeply personal Latin, funk, and rock influences that shaped his love for musical composition. He spent 2018 performing locally/composing/recording his debut solo release, “They Call Me Big New York”. Christian has been independently releasing singles since 2015, beginning with “Good Old Days”. “Latin Jive Redux”, a 2017 remix of the Groove Skool song “Latin Jive” Christian's musical evolution was on full display as he made his solo debut to a sold-out crowd at Blues Alley in July 2019, celebrating the upcoming release of "They Call Me Big New York". In 2020 a release of “Big Tall Wish”. Mauricio Mesones fue vocalista de Bareto llevando la cumbia y el éxito de la banda por todo el mundo. Hoy en otra etapa de su vida, nos cuenta feliz que le encanta el proceso por el que está pasando, componiendo sus canciones, conversando con los dueños de los derechos de las canciones que graba, marqueteandose, usando las redes sociales, en un proceso de crecimiento que empezó muy bien en marzo del 2020, pero que al mes se frenó en seco por el inicio de la pandemia. Le costó muchísimo, pero va saliendo adelante. No se arrepiente de sus decisiones, cómo haber dejado pasar la oportunidad de cantar en el evento deportivo más visto de nuestro historia, los juegos panamericanos. Ha empezado algo y se siente muy orgulloso, a la par habla sobre su trabajo como profesor universitario y como nunca jamás le cobraría a alguien por un saludo. Christian “Big New York” de Mesones has been playing bass guitar for over 40 years. He was only 18 years old when he graduated from the world-famous Bass Institute of Technology (now the Musician’s Institute) in Hollywood, California where he had the opportunity to study and workshop with greats such as Abe Laboriel, Louis Johnson, Tim Bogart, Howard Alden, Steve Morse, Pat Metheny, and the late Tommy Tedesco and Ray Brown. By personal request from visiting guitar faculty member and legendary jazz guitarist Pat Martino, he performed an original composition for his graduation ceremony. On his new release, Christian has returned to his roots, focusing on the deeply personal Latin, funk, and rock influences that shaped his love for musical composition. He spent 2018 performing locally and composing and recording additional material to round out his long-awaited, debut solo release, “They Call Me Big New York”. Te contamos el decreto por el que se establece “La designación de zona céntrica peatonal” desde el pasado viernes 22 de mayo de 2020 a las 23:59h. Teniendo en cuenta que el núcleo central de nuestro municipio es donde se ubican la mayoría de los comercio y establecimientos de hostelería, se ha decidido establecer una área peatonal por tiempo indefinido.Esta decisión pretende -por un lado- incrementar el tránsito peatonal favoreciendo a los negocios locales y -por otro- mejorar la seguridad en una zona donde no existen aceras de grandes dimensiones como para garantizar la distancia interpersonal necesaria en estos momentos.La primera medida de adecuación a la peatonalización ha sido la reparación de los dos grandes baches que existían en la calle Mesones, y que suponían un riesgo para los viandantes que pudieran caminar por esta zona.Después se han marcado líneas amarillas de prohibición de aparcamiento en el final de la calle Juan de Austria con Calderón de la Barca, con el propósito de afianzar la seguridad tanto de peatones como de vehículos. La ampliación del espacio sin el aparcamiento en batería permitirá que los viandantes caminen distanciados y que los coches y autobuses coincidan circulando si estrecheces. Ambos factores de importancia en esta vía, que se convertirá en el camino principal de vehículos tras el corte de las calles centrales.Teniendo en cuenta que la almendra central de Villarejo es un lugar muy concurrido, se han pintado las calles peatonales con señales y pictogramas de dirección para que las personas caminen por diferentes lugares en función del sentido de su desplazamiento. Así se facilita la distancia entre personas.También se instalarán paneles de señalización con las prohibiciones de aparcamiento y resaltando los itinerarios alternativos para la conexión con la A3, por los que a partir de ahora deberán circular los autobuses que atraviesen nuestro municipio en dirección a Madrid o Valencia.Se ampliará el número de papeleras para favorecer la limpieza, y se instalará mobiliario para donde pueda realizarse la desinfección de manos.El espacio ganado a los peatones podrá ser empleado con una autorización para la ampliación de las terrazas de nuestros bares y restaurantes, de forma que desde ya puedan abrir manteniendo el número de clientes con la separación que marca la normativa. Una segunda parte de esta peatonalización contempla que se instalen terrazas en calles donde no existen actualmente pudiendo beneficiarse más empresarios locales de esta medida.
