It's a double dose of warped humour on this episode as Elwood and Lackey revisit Warner Bros. most adventerous period before finishing with one of Lackey's most highly rated shows. Inside No.9 episode 2, “A Quiet Night In” (2014): Since we started the show Lackey has talked about this show....now finally we watch it. Created by Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton (The League of Gentlemen) here they pay homage to silent cinema as a pair of cat burglers whose attempts to steal a painting goes wildly astray.
Elwood and Lackey return with another double dose of cult TV goodness this time kicking off with "Fringe" a show dismissed by some as an "X Files" cash in, the guys argue why this show was so much more. Rounding out this double bill is the 1977 public infomation film "Apaches" by John Mackenzie who would go on to direct the classic Brit gangster flick "The Long Good Friday". Here though he teaches us about farm safety as a group of kids repeatidly find ever more unique way to meet thier demise. All this plus Doctor Who re-releases, scavanger hunts and questioning if "Westworld" has become the new "Lost" plus much more!!
Elwood and Lackey are here for another monthly dose of Cult TV goodness which on this episode is a double dip of 90's brit comedy opening with "Goodness Gracious Me" were there is an invitation to take you out for an English, meet the one million Rupee man and discover that you can solve any issue with a small aubergine. Finally its time to hit the streets for a shock expose of the UK drugs scene, as comedy anarchist Chris Morris' faux current affairs show tackles the subject of drugs in his always unique way. All this plus making sense of Westworld, English eating habits and the decline of Law and Order: Special Victims plus much more!!

Cult Nostalgia is the theme of the day when Elwood and Lackey look back at two shows which embrace thier love for the cult while pushing it that bit further with fantastically weird results as they look at "Garth Marenghi's Darkplace" and the Australian underground hit "Danger 7". It's an episode packed with Nazi Dino soldiers, demonic possession, spontanious gun fights and questionable acting! If that wasn't enough we also take a look at Mumblecore, Lena Dunham, Xenial Directors and fringe 90's comedy plus much more.
It's christmas time once again, which of course means another trek into the world of Christmas specials for Elwood and Lackey, but will they be able to top "The Star Wars Holiday Special"? Stepping up to the plate first is the Rankin and Bass inspired "Community" episode "Abeds's Uncontrollable Christmas". Finally we head to PeeWee's Playhouse for a memorable and not to mention star studded special, while also taking a look at the troubled career of it's star / creator Paul Reubens.
