Happy Tuesday! Dr. Mo opens the doors of the church for a post Pentecost thought as she meditates on Acts 3:1-10. She discusses how the lame man had expectation of one thing and received a life altering and expansive gift! Dr. Mo expounds on how we have the opportunity to know the Power of Resurrection as we think about the expansion phase in Dr. Aimee's work in "The Biology of Trauma". She reflects on her journey of learning why she was so hesitant to do the podcast and how with the help of the Holy Spirit through therapy, she can now KNOW power of Resurrection in her life. She expected one thing and received the path toward expansion. Tune in to this episode as we think about how we can rise to life by asking ourselves what holds us back as Dr. Mo did concerning her hesitation to do the podcast. Our cultural artefact for this Podding On episode is the 2004 British horror parody television show created by Richard Ayoade and Matthew Holness, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. We chat about the Pilot Episode - Once Upon a Beginning Directed by Richard Ayoade Produced by Charlie Hanson Written by Richard Ayoade and Matthew Holness First aired Thursday, 29th January 2004 When Dr Liz Asher played by Madeleine Wool played by Alice Lowe arrives for her first day at Darkplace Hospital, she has an ominous vision: blood, guts, a real horror show. Boss Thornton Reed, played by Dean Learner, played by Richard Ayoade, wants this resolved, in a strictly orthodox manner. But Dr Rick Dagless MD, played by Garth Marenghi, played by Matthew Holness, rarely does things by the book. But fortunately his buddy, Dr Lucien Sanchez, played by Todd Rivers, played by Matt Berry, is there to offer a helping hand. Questions? Thoughts? Suggestions? We'd love to hear from you! Happy Sunday!Dr. Mo thought this series "It is Finished" was finished. Yet, it was not. As she waited on the Lord to reveal to her where she had a "spiritual pause", the Holy Spirit did guide with additional insights. She continues to meditate on Philippians 3:10 and John 19:30. For today's episode, we read Acts 1:4-5 as we think of the Ascension of Jesus. Dr. Mo expounds on how Jesus instructed the disciples to wait for the Father's promise. She discusses how we have opportunities to know the power of Resurrection within us and yet there are times along the journey, we must still wait for God's promise. Tune in to this episode as we think about having to be patient with the process of finishing trauma responses in our bodies. Dr. Aimee, author of the "Biology of Trauma" reminds us we must pace ourselves through the process of completing trauma responses in our bodies. It will not work the same for everyone. And for some, it might not work at all. What do we do in and with the wait? Might it be an invitation of the Holy Spirit to expand our psychological, emotional, and spiritual capacities? Happy Sunday!Dr. Mo thinks this series "It is Finished" is finished. However, stay tuned. She discusses Philippians 3:10 and adds to the focus John 19:30 for today's episode. She focuses on the three infamous words uttered by Jesus “it is finished.” Dr. Mo links this saying of Jesus back to the neuroscience and Philippians 3:10 as she thinks about how our bodies must finish the trauma response when it is started. Dr. Mo discusses how our bodies are already created with the universal response needed to bring them to safety and growth after trauma experiences. We continue to delve into the data from Dr. Aimee's book "The Biology of Trauma", as we walk through the essential sequence needed to begin the healing work: safety, support, and expansion. Today, we dive into the expansion component of the essential sequence. Expansion must not be rushed. It is not an intellectual exercise. It is experiential. It must be consistent. It must not be entered into until regulation and stability is firmly established. Tune into this episode as we discuss how to think about the ways God invites us into knowing the power of His Resurrection. Happy Resurrection Day!Dr. Mo continues to expound upon Philippians 3:10. She focuses on the 2nd part of that verse by pondering what does it mean for us to know the power of resurrection. How do we move from understanding the close association with Jesus and suffering to knowing the power of rising to life? We've all had somebody in our life we genuinely wanted to help — but couldn't seem to get through to. Maybe they're going through a rough season. Maybe they seem shut down. Maybe they're stuck in a pattern they can't see. Sometimes that person's been us. This episode digs into what's actually happening when someone won't let you in, why logic almost never changes behavior, and what to do instead. We cover why most people default to the wrong influence tactics when they're trying to reach someone, what people are really protecting when they put up walls, and how comparison — even when it comes from a good place — can make the problem worse. If you've ever said “they're just not motivated” about someone you care about, this one's going to reframe that for you. “If you or someone you know is struggling with depression or thoughts of suicide, please seek professional help. You can reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline anytime by calling or texting 988.“ What You'll Learn: ∙ Strategies for breaking through when someone seems despondent or completely shut down ∙ What to check yourself on when you catch yourself problem-solving instead of connecting ∙ The one influence strategy you're probably relying on too much — and why it's making things worse ____________________ Follow Us: Website: ArtofCoaching.com Instagram: @coach_brettb X: @coach_brettb
Happy Sunday! On this last Sunday in March, Palm Sunday, we are culminating our anniversary celebration of six years of the “And The Church Said” podcast!Dr. Mo has been celebrating six years of God's faithfulness to the work of the podcast! Today, we continue to discuss Dr. Mo's hesitation to do the work of the podcast. She discusses how her hesitation was rooted in social rejection and fear and how she has come to understand her close association with the sufferings of Jesus. Dr. Mo reads from Philippians 3:10 and Luke 22:39-46. She discusses when we anticipate doing the will of God we can experience anxiety and anguish. Especially when we are doing really difficult things. Just like Jesus as He prepared to go to the Cross. " My faith has been completely restored, and more than I could ever imagine. For me to be at this point in my life- where I was and where I saw where I was, it was just so crazy to me. And I always tell everybody when they ask about how I feel about me coming back- God had a plan for me just as He does for everybody. And it sucks that my plan and my path was as hard as it could have been. But ultimately, I know in my heart of hearts that He knew I would come back to church at this time and everything, and that was His plan for me."00:00 Dark Place after Divorce02:52 Meet Brandon05:29 High School Drift17:31 Marriage Ends and Faith Crashes21:19 Grace and Unexpected Pregnancy26:46 Prayer to Return29:23 Repentance Is Change40:25 Purpose Is CoolMemor Jewelry code COMEBACK for 10% offhttps://memorjewelry.com/Serve Clothing code COMEBACK for 15% offhttps://serveclothing.com/If you have a story to share please fill out the form: https://form.jotform.com/233109071625046For inquiries contact info.comebackpodcast@gmail.comCome Back Team:Director, Founder, & Host: Ashly StoneEditor: Cara ReedOutreach Manager: Jenna CarlsonAssistant Editor: Britt SmallzeArt Director: Jeremy GarciaProduction Director: Trent Wardwell

Happy Sunday! As we are in our birthday month, we are rebroadcasting this episode that originally aired on March 9, 2025 In this episode, Dr. Mo celebrated five years of the podcast! Dr. Mo reflected on five years of podcasting and understood that worship is an act of obedience. We read Genesis 22:5 where Abraham took his son, Isaac, to be sacrificed. It was the first time in the Scriptures the word “worship” is used. Dr. Mo confessed she failed to execute all God showed and instructed her concerning the podcast. She talked about continuing the work wholeheartedly as an act of worship, that is, obedience unto God. Which included fully executing the vision God has given her concerning the podcast. Tune in to this episode as we thank God for gracing us for five years of “And The Church Said”! Happy Sunday! We are rebroadcasting another episode that originally aired January 2025. As we are settling into this year of 2026, some may have already dropped off of their new year goals. In this episode, we continue to read Genesis 1 with a focus on verse 3. We are thinking of how God might be inviting us to create and exercise an authority using the words “let there be”. Tune into this episode as we contemplate an invitation to create and establish while considering what is required of us to implement, maintain, and protect those creations from sabotage. Happy 2026! We are back, somewhat! Today, we are rebroadcasting an episode that aired in January 2025. We hope you find this content still useful as we are 6 weeks into this next year of 2026. We are planning to bring new content to you soon! In the meantime, take a listen as we study Genesis 1:1-3 and ponder if God is inviting the creative parts of ourselves to create in the emotional, mental, relational, spiritual, or some combination of all of these - places that might feel empty, dark, or without form. Send a textTwelve months ago, one of my clients was in a dark place. Despite 11 years in business and a high-end portfolio, he was facing $30,000 in monthly overheads with zero visibility on future work. He was the classic Technician. Talented, exhausted, and the primary bottleneck in his own company. In this episode, I break down the exact shift we made to move him from stagnant revenue to a $163,000 pipeline in just eight weeks. We didn't focus on hustle. We focused on business logic and the correct sequence of growth. If you are stuck at the $250k to $500k mark, your problem isn't a lack of effort. It is a lack of clarity on which lever to pull next. Here's what you'll discover:The Probability Pipeline: Why scoring your leads is the only way to see three months ahead.Killing the Bottleneck: How to delegate creative sign-offs so the business can breathe. The $1,400 Day Rate: Why industry standard pricing is a ceiling you need to shatter.Sequence Over Information: Why the order of your fixes matters more than the fixes themselves. The Farmer Mindset: Shifting from daily operator to strategic CEO.Stop acting like a technician and start building an asset. I had a lot I needed to say about the ICE murders of Rene Good and Alex Pretti. And about the fascists who lie to our faces and know we can't do anything about it. And the concentration camps we already have. I did video because there was so much visual element to this, so watching would be best.

“I was at the highest point of my career, signed a max contract, all NBA team, top 3 player in East to boom, hit rock bottom. And I got through it. Life isn't going to be easy, there's a lot of adversity and challenges, just don't quit.” John Wall In one of the most authentic and powerful conversations of the year, John Wall opens up on pulling himself out of a dark place and the moment he chose life and light over a frightening alternative. He speaks from the heart as he shares his journey with Ryan, Fred and Channing, hoping to show people who struggle with mental health, there is always a way out. The conversation is raw, honest, and formidable as we talk everything from basketball to brotherhood to parenting to resilience to grief and manage to have lots of laughs throughout. From being the No. 1 overall pick to battling injuries, criticism, and personal loss, John talks the highs and lows of his journey in the league. He reflects on what the game has taught him about loyalty, mental toughness, and finding purpose beyond the spotlight. This episode goes deeper than stats and headlines—touching on growth, accountability, legacy, and what it really takes to keep pushing forward when the world counts you out. He explains his real reason behind retirement and responds to rumors, gives his perspective on today's game and highlights the players who he respects in NBA today. Full of Kentucky Wildcat pride, John describes the differences between young athletes of now and his era, NIL and what the future of college basketball looks like. In a more personal moment, John opens up about his mental health journey, the unseen battles he faced while navigating injuries and public scrutiny, and how losing his mother—his biggest supporter and anchor—changed his life forever. With vulnerability and strength, he shares how grief reshaped his perspective on basketball, manhood, and purpose. Wall also talks about his next chapter, including his new role with Amazon Prime, stepping into media and storytelling while redefining what success looks like beyond the court. With the guys navigating the conversation, the episode goes deep, diving into healing, identity, and learning to evolve when life forces a pivot. If life feels heavy, confusing, or just stuck… you're not broken. You're not cursed. You're not “falling behind.” You're in a phase nobody teaches you how to navigate: the dark season. In today's episode, the guys break down why your hardest moments keep repeating, why running from discomfort actually makes it worse, and the one shift that finally moves you forward. ET explains how every version of success he's had was formed in moments nobody saw. Jamal talks about the darkness that exposed the real picture of his life and pushed him toward real estate. Karl breaks down how creativity, identity, and resilience are all born in the dark—never in comfort. This conversation will change how you interpret struggle, setbacks, disappointment, and pressure. Because the truth is simple: You don't grow in the light. You grow in the hard stuff. And once you know how to face it, everything changes.
"For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross." —Colossians 1:19–20 One sobering way to prepare for Christmas is to remember that our spiritual enemy doesn’t take the holidays off. The apostle Peter wrote, “Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8 NLT). Christmas is a season of giving, a season of hope, and a season of joy. But by its very nature, it’s also a season of spiritual battle—and has been ever since the need for Christ’s coming first arose. The war has been won. Jesus defeated sin and death once and for all. He paid the sacrifice for our sin once and for all. Red is the color of Christmas—not because Santa suits are red or because we wrap packages in red. Red is the color of Christmas because of the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed. By the shedding of His blood, He made eternal life possible for everyone who believes in Him. Though the devil has been defeated, he refuses to give up the battle. We see that battle being played out in our culture today. It is the God of the Bible, the true and living God, versus all contenders. This battle goes back to the first Messianic verse in Scripture when, after the serpent tempted Adam and Eve to sin, God said to him, “And I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel” (Genesis 3:15 NLT). The cradle of Christ was pointing to the cross. The Incarnation was necessary for atonement. The purpose behind the birth of Jesus was the death of Jesus. This is New Testament Christianity. It’s the division between light and darkness, between righteousness and unrighteousness, between good and evil, and between right and wrong. Here’s something else to ponder this Christmas season: It’s through conflict that we find real peace. Those who challenge us as believers do so for reasons that have little to do with us. Christ’s arrival in the world changed everything. His light illuminated the darkness. But some people prefer the dark. They don’t want their sins to be known. So, when they see people who live in the light, it creates conflict within them—conflict that spills out in their reaction to us. But we can trust that through this conflict, ultimate unity will come. Our responsibility is to hold our ground and pray. Pray that these people will think about their souls, consider the claims of Christ, and then ultimately turn their lives over to the Lord. What a Christmas gift that would be. — The audio production of the podcast "Greg Laurie: Daily Devotions" utilizes Generative AI technology.
