Among many achievements in her life(such as being the first black woman to become an NHL scout and the first black player in the NWHL to name a few), Blake also played in the PWHPA, CWHL and even for HC Lugano in Switzerland. She was recently featured on the cover of USA Hockey Magazine. Bolden reflects on finding her love for the game through a family member, playing as mostly the only girl on her teams, and being the only black player on many teams until her senior year at Boston College. She talks about diversity and inclusion in the game and what needs to change. Throughout the conversation, Blake opens up about the various community efforts the LA Kings organization is doing and her involvement. Despite COVID-19 restrictions, Blake is working on various projects and it's exciting to hear what the organization is doing to spread awareness for the game as well as creating more diversity within the sport.

She admits that she knew there had to be a better way to break down useful tips for eating for performance. From that point on, her hard work ethic and determination led her to launch her own business, Eat This For Performance, which allows hers to assist athletes become the best version of themselves through proper nutrition.
