Since we got busy with life, and a great show Peaky Blinders, we thought we'd take a minute to catch up with what we had missed these past week in Season 4 Part 2 of Attack On Titan. Since it's also been a lot of the conversation within the experience too, we thought we'd also take some time to talk about the online community, and our thoughts on some of the opinions that have been unearthed from the show due to it's subject matter. So please don't completely flay us alive on this one, and let's look forward to a better community and great finish when we come back to AOT next year!
So after last seasons harrowing family, Anthony was incredibly eager to see what came of the Shelby clan after Tommy decided to cross the line. As Ransom had nodded to - it was indeed not pretty. Thomas a jaded businessman, Paully loosing her mind, and the brothers bitter as hell? Well, no better time to have the whole family given a black hand by the Italian Mafia right?
If you thought the end of Season 2 was crazy, Season 3 makes the stress level in that previous season look breezy! Needless to say Anthony is hooked now, and is extremely thankful he only has to wait a week to watch the following season - instead of a year and half like Ransom had!
It's the beginning of Season 3, and all of a sudden we find ourselves in the middle of spy games and political intrigue... Clearly, being the top dog isn't all it's cracked up to be, and one member of the shelby family finds out the hard way that you can never truly be safe away from the underbelly of the crime world the Shelby family grew from.
End of Season 2! What did you think of all the stress around every corner?
Hot off the presses in this season, as we expand out from Birmingham into the streets of London, getting introduced to the strongest two criminal factions operating: The Italian and the Jewish gangs. Both are at war, so the real question is, will Thomas be able to leverage his position and exploit their situation to his advantage?
We move forward with the conclusion of season 1 of Peaky Blinders! Anthony main takeaway? Why did they have to have a cliffhanger like that?!
Its time to get down and dirty in 1920's London, with the notorious small time gang: Peaky Blinders. While they don't play by the rules, they certainly do have their code of honor - and Thomas Shelby just wants one thing: for the world to finally give his family what they are owed.
BOOM Season 4 Part 2 is off, and oh boy is it swinging. These first three episodes were insane, so this week we get back to it in full. More to come, and the Manga fans know - this will affect you.
The final chapter in our matrix discussions, The Matrix Resurrections! Trinity and Neo are back, now helmed under a single wachowski, and we talk everything about what this movie has to offer. That which is a surprising mix of nostalgia combined with a conversation on what is truly worth fighting for, and who gets to own what that fight is really about.
Part 4 of our Matrix Review features the 2000's anime experiment: The Animatrix. As far as we are aware, this was the first compilation of anime shorts from a western franchise, that we would later see repeated in other franchises like Star Wars today. It's bold, eerie, and far ahead of it's time - so come take a trippy journey down the rabbit hole this week!
Its time to restore hope to humanity, and finally end the cycle of control the machines have placed on us. Or is it? With Matrix Resurrections on the horizon, its time review the final act in the original trilogy!
The titular follow up to the matrix, the one that everyone loves to forget, yet years later - surprisingly holds up so well.
Its time, to go back to where it all started. Get unplugged, take the red pill, and do a deep dive into the iconic: The Matrix.
