A preparação para a Festa do Agricultor 2026 avançou mais uma etapa em Lauro Müller com a apresentação oficial das candidatas que disputarão os títulos de rainha e princesas do evento. O encontro foi realizado na tarde desta quinta-feira, no Castelo Henrique Lage, reunindo as 13 jovens que representam diferentes comunidades do município. Durante a programação, as candidatas foram recepcionadas pela comissão organizadora e receberam as primeiras orientações sobre a preparação para o concurso. A partir de agora, elas iniciam uma agenda de atividades que inclui treinamentos, encontros e demais ações voltadas ao processo de escolha da nova corte da festa. As concorrentes são Karen Antunes Pedro (Itanema), Vitória Gregório Abel (Km 107), Isadora Ramalho Furst (Mina Nova), Isadora de Oliveira Bonot (Morro da Figueira), Isabela Freitas Sérgio (Morro da Palha), Iasmin de Oliveira (Palermo), Renata H. Tanken på att klättra i berg var länge avskyvärd. Men en roman av Jean-Jacques Rousseau gjorde i ett enda svep människan bergtagen. Dan Jönsson funderar på konsekvenserna av vårt mål att nå toppen. Först sänd 2018-03-20.När den amerikanske bergsbestigaren och författaren Mark Jenkins besteg Mount Everest våren 2012 passerade han fyra lik på vägen upp. I ett bisarrt reportage i National Geographic berättade han hur det på vissa partier var två timmars kö för att ta sig vidare, hur soporna låg i drivor längs leden upp till toppen och när han till slut nådde målet var där så trångt att han knappt hittade någon plats att stå. Inte precis vad man förväntar sig på världens tak kanske, men Mount Everest upplever några försommarveckor varje år en rusning som bara blir mer och mer intensiv, till följd av en expanderande exklusiv äventyrsturism där superrika globetrotters för upp till en miljon kronor kan köpa sig plats i en expedition, ofta utan att ha den rätta erfarenheten, träningen eller ens utrustningen. Affärerna hade en svacka under några år efter en jordbävning och en lavinkatastrof som krävde sexton personers liv, men numera är de uppe på rekordnivåer igen.Berg var alltså till sitt ursprung och väsen av ondo, därför också fula, och att självmant ta sig upp i dem sågs som både dubiöst och dumdristigtTrängseln, soporna och dödsoffren på världens högsta berg låter kanske som den perfekta kapitalistiska karikatyren av en naturlig mänsklig drift mot höga mål, förvrängd av växande ojämlikhet och statushets. Men idén att klättra upp på ett berg bara för sakens skull har en historia, och faktum är att den fram till för några hundra år sedan skulle ha verkat ganska obegriplig. För medeltidens bibelkunniga var det en känd sak att några berg inte existerade i Första Mosebokens geografi – man antog därför att de hade uppstått först efter syndafallet, när Herren i vredesmod beslöt sig för att knyckla till jordskorpan som straff för människornas olydnad. Berg var alltså till sitt ursprung och väsen av ondo, därför också fula, och att självmant ta sig upp i dem sågs som både dubiöst och dumdristigt. Synen på bergen som ett skönhetsvärde och på bergsvandringen som moraliskt stärkande är av sent datum, och kan faktiskt dateras rätt exakt – närmare bestämt till 1760, när Jean-Jacques Rousseau gav ut sin roman "Julie eller Den nya Heloïse".Det är i det tjugotredje brevet i denna väldiga korrespondensroman, som nästan över en natt gjorde Rousseau till kultförfattare bland Europas kulturella aristokrati, som den förälskade informatorn Saint-Preux beger sig upp bland alptopparna kring den lilla staden Sion i den schweiziska bergskantonen Valais. Till sin elev och älskade Julie, skild från honom av klasskrankor och hedersbegrepp lika branta och oöverstigliga som Matterhorn, författar han här vad som bör vara den moderna alpinismens urmanifest. Saint-Preux beskriver hur han under en lång dags vandring mot de högsta topparna till slut nått ovan molnen och där upplevt hur hans oroliga sinnesstämning liksom klarnat upp och lättat. ”Det verkar”, skriver han, ”som om när man höjer sig över människornas nivåer, man där också lämnade kvar alla låga och jordiska känslor. Som om när man närmar sig mera eteriska regioner, själen fick någon del av deras oföränderliga renhet.” Han beskriver känslan av att, som han uttrycker det, ”befinna sig i en alldeles ny värld”, hur ”hela skådespelet har över sig något magiskt, övernaturligt som tjusar både förnuft och sinnen. Man glömmer allt, man glömmer sig själv, man vet inte längre var man är.”en ingrodd och religiöst välgrundad orofobi, eller avsky för berg [...] förbyttes i romantisk dyrkan.Det enorma genomslaget för Rousseaus roman blev impulsen till de första strömmarna av alpin kulturturism. Idéhistorikern Björn Billing beskriver i sin koncisa men innehållsrika essä "Utsikt från en bergstopp" hur Rousseaus entusiastiska läsare med romanen som reseguide började vallfärda till trakterna kring Genèvesjön för att med egna ögon se platserna där berättelsen utspelar sig – något Rousseau själv för övrigt inte alls förstod poängen med. De himlastormande bergslandskapen i Valais blev ett självklart mål, men den plats som främst av alla lockade turisterna var en klippa ovanför Meillerie vid Genèvesjön där Saint-Preux i en laddad scen lite längre fram i berättelsen, sjuk av hopplös kärlek, står och känner suget från det oåterkalleliga: ”Klippan är brant, vattnet är djupt och jag är förtvivlad.”Björn Billing beskriver omsvängningen i bergsuppfattningen till följd av Rousseaus roman som en kulturell ”synvända”, när en ingrodd och religiöst välgrundad orofobi, eller avsky för berg, på ganska kort tid förbyttes i romantisk dyrkan. Visserligen har människor i alla tider fascinerats av bergens majestät och sett dem som hemvist för högre makter – grekerna med sitt Olympos till exempel, eller Bibelns Moses som på berget Sinai fick ta emot de tio budorden. Och visserligen gjorde diktaren Francesco Petrarca redan på 1300-talet historiens kanske första frivilliga bergsbestigning när han av ren nyfikenhet gick upp till toppen av det 1912 meter höga Mont Ventoux och stod där ”som förtrollad” som han skriver i ett brev. Det finns fler intressanta undantag, men de förblir just undantag. I det allmänna medvetandet stod bergen för den kaotiska och ofruktbara motsatsen till det goda kulturlandskapets välordnade liv. Att där bodde hemska drakar och demoner var vedertagen kunskap långt in på 1700-talet, och något som även Linné räknade med i sin naturhistoria.Med en träffande formulering kallar Billing Saint-Preux alpina vision i Julie för en ”profan bergspredikan” som förkunnar en ny tid, rentav en ny värld – och med den också en ny naturuppfattning där det vilda och otyglade inte längre ses som något ont och hotfullt utan istället som en öppning mot ”det sublima” - alltså den speciella svindel som för människans trubbiga sinnen framkallar en känslomässig aning om en högre, bortomliggande ordning. Men bergslandskapen blir också sinnebilden för en kulturkritik där civilisationens artificiella och tillrättalagda förljugenhet ställs i kontrast till den råa naturens kraftfulla, osentimentala sanning.
