We're kicking-off Season 20 with Arc of Infinity! This story features Time Lords doing what Time Lords do best, the return of Omega and introduction of his mutant turkey/pterodactyl thing, and some traipsing around Amsterdam. It sounds like it should be quite good. But will the Watchers think that it's the sort of bang that the season should start with – one that caused by anti-matter and matter colliding? Join us as we discuss our total disdain for the planet Gallifrey and Time Lord society, our love of Action Hero Nyssa, the brain slugs from Futurama, how the Castellan and Commander Maxil seem to be aware of the narrative structure of a Doctor Who story, and how President Borusa is apparently very susceptible to phishing. We also delve into the question of “what is the Matrix?” – because the last time we saw it, it certainly wasn't… whatever the heck we see in this story. If you would like to watch along with us, you can find this story available for streaming on Britbox in the USA (http://www.britbox.com) and BBC iPlayer in the UK (https://bbc.in/48GSaCB). This week on The Watchers, Andrea and Jodie check themselves in for a review of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. We trace the long and winding road to bringing this film to the screen, talk about its unconventional on-location set, and reflect on how it launched so many of our favorite actors' careers. We also unpack the deep misogyny baked into the writing of Nurse Ratched as a monstrous woman. Next week, we're staying in the psych ward for the Cuckoo's Nest companion piece Girl, Interrupted. If you're reading this, that means you've probably got your podcatcher of choice open right now. There have been a number of big summer movies like "F1: The Movie," "Superman" and "Jurrassic World: Rebirth." But these popcorn movies are not likely destined for big awards. Studios like to hold back the Oscar contenders for the fall, so in this week's episode we dive into which movies to watch for this fall and into the winter. You can also review a full list of notable films below. August releases “Honey Don’t!” – Ethan Coen continues his Margaret Qualley-a-thon with this comedy about a private investigator who looks into a series of deaths tied to a church. Aubrey Plaza, Chris Evans co-star. “Splitsville” – Divorce makes strange bedfellows, particularly when the ex discovers his best friends have an open marriage. Dakota Johnson, Kyle Marvin star. “Eden” – Looking for a better life, a group of people head to the Galapagos and realize what they’re up against. Jude Law and Ana de Armas star in this based-in-fact drama directed by Ron Howard. “Relay” – Payoffs between corporations brings a broker into the line of fire. Riz Ahmed, Lily James and Sam Worthington star. “Hollywood Grit” – A private investigator has to find out what happened to his daughter. Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren, Ben Kingsley are in the home. “The Roses” – An updated look at “War of the Roses” lets Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman square off. Jay Roach directs. “Caught Stealing” – Austin Butler gets the Darren Aronofsky treatment as a baseball player caught in the underbelly of New York City. Bad Bunny is along for the ride. “The Toxic Avenger”—When a janitor is the victim of a toxic accident, a new crimefighter emerges. Peter Dinklage, Jacob Tremblay and Taylour Paige star. “Jaws” – The first summer blockbuster returns to the big screen after months on television. Now, you can see what audiences were scared of in 1975. “Love, Brooklyn” – Friends navigate the pitfalls of life in Brooklyn. September releases “Megadoc” – Mike Figgis looks at the making of Francis Ford Coppola’s “Megalopolis.” “The Conjuring: Last Rites” – Those creepy paranormal investigators say they’re taking on one last case (sure) to settle their own lives. Patric Wilson and Vera Farmiga return. “The Threesome” – A threesome leads to problems, particularly since life’s not always fantasies. Zoey Deutch and Jonah Hauer-King star. “Twinless” – Two men bond in a support group. Dylan O’Brien, Lauren Graham and Arkira Chantaratananond star. “Hamilton” – Celebrating its “ten-cennial,” the Broadway hit brings its performance capture version (which ran on Disney+) to the big screen. Updates about the performers make this more than a night out. “The Baltimorons” – Sobriety leads to a dental emergency which leads to a romance with the dentist. Jay Duplass directs; Michael Strassner co-writes and stars. “The Long Walk” —You thought the Hunger Games were bad, how about this: Teenage boys compete in a walking contest. If they don’t keep up, they’re shot. Based on a Stephen King story, it’s one of the year’s most harrowing. “Spinal Tap II: The End Continues” – Those Smell the Glove guys reunite after a 15-year hiatus for one last concert. Rob Reiner directs; the original actors return. “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale” – The Crawleys face scandal, financial ruin and social disgrace. To get out of it, they look to a younger generation. Expect all but Maggie Smith to be back. “The History of Sound” – Paul Mescal and Josh O’Connor embark on a World War I project that brings them close to their country and each other. “Code 3” – One last shift for a paramedic who has to train his replacement. What could go wrong? Rainn Wilson, Lil Rel Howery star. “Him” – What a guy won’t do to be a football star. Here, one goes to a compound where anything can happen. Tyriq Withers, Marlon Wayans and Julia Fox star. “American Sweatshop – Yup, it’s the world of social media. An insider discovers just how dark the world is (like we didn’t know). “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” – Colin Farrell and Margot Robbie bond in a unique journey (which, of course, says nothing but suggests there’s more to this than two big stars). “The Summer Book” – A girl and her grandmother become closer in Finland. Emily Matthews and Glenn Close star. (Could this be the one that finally wins Close an Oscar?) “Xeno” – Ready for another E.T.? This one finds a teenager relating to the alien. Josh Cooke, Lulu Wilson star. “Waltzing with Brando” – When Marlon Brando wants an ecologically perfect retreat in Tahiti, he calls on a Los Angeles architect. Tia Carrere, Richard Dreyfuss and Jon Heder star. “Eleanor the Great” – Scarlett Johansson directs June Squibb in this drama about a 94-year-old who has plenty of stories to tell. “One Battle After Another” – Leonardo DiCaprio stars in this dark comedy about a group of revolutionaries reuniting to save one of their group’s daughter. Paul Thomas Anderson directs; Benicio Del Toro (who starred in a Wes Anderson film earlier this year) and Sean Penn co-star. October releases “The Smashing Machine” – Dwayne Johnson tries his hand at mixed-martial arts as UFC champion Mark Kerr. The makeup may be a stretch, but Benny Safdie directs, Emily Blunt disappears in an unlikely role. “Tron: Ares” – Jared Leto gets to run the race. Jeff Bridges is here, too, but this is about a new program (Ares) that’s about to embark on a dangerous mission. “Roofman” – A robber evades authorities by hanging out in a toy store. Channing Tatum plays the thief, Peter Dinklage and Kirsten Dunst swirl around him. “Anemone” – Daniel Day-Lewis comes out of retirement for this film directed by his son, Ronan. The plot? Good question, but it will have that DD-L prestige. “Kiss of the Spider Woman” – Jennifer Lopez stars in the Tony winner fans have been asking for. The big question: Were they looking for Lopez to star in it? Bill Conden directs. “If I Had Legs, I’d Kick You” – Rose Byrne gets the Oscar buzz as a woman trying to juggle multiple traumas, including a sick child and an absent husband. “Soul on Fire” – This is the story of a St. Louis native who survived burns which covered his body. Joel Courtney plays John O’Leary. William H. Macy and John Corbett co-star. “Good Fortune” – An angel meddles in the lives of a venture capitalist and a gig worker. Seth Rogen, Azizi Ansari and Keke Palmer star in this comedy written and directed by Ansari. Black Phone 2 – More trouble ensues when the phone rings. Sequel to a better-than-average horror film. “After the Hunt” – Julia Roberts plays a college professor who wonders what could happen when a student levels an accusation against a colleague. Ayo Edebiri co-stars. The Mastermind – A family man leads a double life in the 1970s. Josh O’Connor and Alana Haim star. “Pets on a Train” – Animated animals get caught up in a train heist. Hedda” – “Hedda Gabler” gets the big-screen treatment with Tessa Thompson in the title role. Blue Moon – The life of Lorenz Hart is told by Richard Linklater with Ethan Hawke as Hart. Andrew Scott plays Richard Rodgers. “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere” -- Bruce Springsteen gets the Bob Dylan treatment with Jeremy Allen White in the title role. This, however, only covers the creation of the “Nebraska” album. “Regretting You” – Family issues emerge after the death of a husband and father. Based on Colleen Hoover’s best-seller, it stars Allison Williams and Mckenna Grace. “The Watchers” – M. Night Shayamalan’s daughter Ishana makes her directorial debut with this thriller about an artist who gets trapped in an Irish forest. “Anniversary” – A good cast (Diane Lane, Kyle Chandler, Zoey Deutch) in a thriller directed by Polish filmmaker Jan Komasa. “Bugonia” – Emma Stone continues her run with Yorgos Lanthimos. The film is a remake of a South Korean effort about two men kidnapping an executive, convinced she’s an alien bent on destroying Earth. “Nouvelle Vague” – Richard Linklater has another entry this year. This one’s a look at Jean-Luc Godard and actress Jean Seberg. Guillaume Marbeck and Zoey Deutch start. November releases When We Pray – Jamie Foxx directs the story of brothers who become pastors at divergent churches. Predator: Badlands – While “Alien: Earth” takes over TV screens, the “other” scary creature takes on a remote planet. The Running Man” – Glen Powell steps into Arnold Schwarzenegger’s shoes as a contestant in a game show which features killers all around the world. Nuremberg – Set during the Nuremberg trials, a psychiatrist interviews Nazi prisoners to determine if they are fit to stand trial. Rami Malek and Russell Crowe square off. Ira Sachs directs. “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t” – The Four Horsemen get help from newbies hoping to use illusions to get away with big cash. Indecipherable – A boy, home alone, gets shaken by the things that go bump in the night. Wicked: For Good – At long last, we find out what happened to Glinda and Elphaba. Expect at least one new song and bigger roles for the men in their lives. No place like home? That’s included, too. Cynthia Orivo and Ariana Grande could double up on the Oscar nominations. Rental Family – Oscar winner Brendan Fraser plays an American actor who plays roles in other people’s lives. STZ – Zombies result when a trio of scientists launch a bio-attack on a bus filled with women. (No kidding.) Zootopia 2 – Residents of Zootopia return for more adventure and product placement. For this episode we're exploring harvest folklore throughout the world, and how it connects to the genre of folk horror. From the sunlit dread of Lady Midday stalking the fields of Eastern Europe to the vengeful rice paddy ghosts of Japan, nearly every farming culture told tales of spirits among the grain. This week on The Watchers, Andrea and Jodie are snowed in with Stephen King's Misery, Rob Reiner's chilling two-hander adaptation that won Kathy Bates her Oscar and taught us to fear typewriters, sledgehammers, and devoted fans bearing soup. We talk about King's real-life inspiration for the story, the long and winding road to casting Paul Sheldon, and why this movie manages to be terrifying, funny, and oddly cozy all at once.Next week, we're moving from one devoted nurse with a questionable bedside manner to another, trading Annie Wilkes for Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.If you're reading this, that means you've probably got your podcatcher of choice open right now. HOW SERIOUSLY should Christians take a book that's not in the Bible, written thousands of years after the man it's named for, and has caused controversy in the church for the last 2,000 years? Of course, we're talking about the Book of Enoch—or, more accurately, the Book of 1 Enoch. (There are a 2 Enoch and 3 Enoch, both written during the Christian era. They really aren't of much use to Christians.) Dr. Judd Burton (www.BurtonBeyond.net), author of Interview with the Giant; Doug Van Dorn(www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods; and Brian Godawa (www.Godawa.com), best-selling author of the theological thriller Cruel Logic and the new novels Judah Maccabee Parts 1 & 2, join us to discuss 1 Enoch and why it's attracted so much attention and generated so many arguments between Christians. We discuss the significance of the Book of 1 Enoch, exploring its structure, relevance, and the controversies surrounding its place in Christian theology. We explore 1 Enoch's connections to the New Testament, particularly the concept of the Son of Man, and its historical importance in shaping early Christian thought. The discussion also highlights the geographical context of the book and its influence on understanding biblical narratives.
Ancient Roots of Life - Episode 15In this episode, JT and Josh @templemaintenancejosh delve into various biblical themes, focusing on the Book of Enoch, the prophetic insights from Isaiah, and the implications of righteousness and judgment. They explore the typology of the barren woman, the role of nations in God's plan, and the significance of iron sharpening iron in understanding scripture. The conversation transitions into health insights from Modern Roots Life, before diving into the giants mentioned in Enoch and their cultural interpretations. The episode concludes with reflections on prophecy and its relevance to historical events. In this conversation, the hosts explore various cultural references, particularly in music, and their connections to secret societies and historical figures like Nimrod and Azazel. They discuss the influence of these elements on modern culture and the teachings of the Watchers as described in the Book of Enoch, drawing parallels with biblical texts such as Genesis. The conversation emphasizes the importance of understanding these connections to grasp the broader implications of cultural narratives.Enoch document download: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/tdmqtmi2qmf7aqn4ojzsk/Open-Enoch_from_Geez_text.pdf?rlkey=62itu9dznqw6lk95iqvpwg3tg&st=ripjf0sm&dl=0Please support our sponsor Modern Roots Life: https://modernrootslife.com/?bg_ref=rVWsBoOfcFPatreon: https://patreon.com/JT_Follows_JC?utm_medium=unknown&utm_source=join_link&utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator&utm_content=copyLinkJESUS SAID THERE WOULD BE HATERS: https://jtfollowsjc.com/product-category/mens-shirts/WOMEN'S SHIRTS: https://jtfollowsjc.com/product-category/womens-shirts/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jt-s-mix-tape--6579902/support.
Even alien observers might reach a point where they give up. original text: THE WATCHERS By ROGER DEE It had taken him ten years to find them—to even convince himself that they existed. Now Manson was ready to kill! [Transcriber's Note: This etext was produced from Planet Stories September 1951. Extensive research did not uncover any evidence that the U.S. copyright on this publication was renewed.] He left his gyro on the dark lawn and circled the villa, carefully avoiding the wash of light from open windows. The blast gun lay snug and cold in his hand, and his thought ran bleakly: Here am I, Peter Manson, pacifist, idealist, reformer, preacher in print of tolerance and amity—about to kidnap a man whom I shall almost certainly kill before morning. Tomorrow the telecast would list his madness with other insanities: sex murders, suicides, political drumbeatings for the coming holocaust of the inevitable Fourth War.... War. "They're going too far," he said, half aloud. "Their routine meddlings were bad enough, but another war now might mean the end of everything." He found the alien who called himself Leonard Havlik in a bright, book-lined study, packing a miscellany of papers into a brief case that bore his name in gold lettering. A secretary was helping, a slim girl with crisp, copper-colored hair and clear green eyes. Manson waited, tense with unaccustomed strain. Somewhere a bird trilled sleepily, and the night-wind, fragrant with the smell of trampled clover, blew cool against his damp face. Irrelevantly, the scene inside reminded him of his own quiet study where he had labored for ten years over the scant gleanings of his search. In that time he had written four books, fighting with a reformer's apostolic zeal to open the eyes of men to their own possibilities, and he had failed. He had not awakened his kind, but he had found the Watchers. The failure was not his fault. It was Theirs.... The girl left the room. Manson straightened at his window, bringing up the blast gun. "Come out, Havlik," he ordered. "Quickly, or I'll blow you to dust where you stand—Watcher!" His quarry looked up, startled—a small, dark man with a thin, tired face and sparse gray hair, a perfect replica of the million ordinary businessmen his camouflage of humanity aped. Manson snicked off the safety catch of his weapon, and Havlik came through the window quickly, without protest. Manson prodded him into the gyro and manacled his wrists together. "We Earthmen have a time-tested proverb," Manson said, "to the effect that you can't fool all the people all the time. I've spent ten years searching for you, Havlik—and here I am." He set the autopilot for his cabin on Green River, holding his blast gun warily, and sent the gyro slanting upward into the night. Havlik smiled faintly, dark eyes gleaming in the light of the instrument panel. "Laugh while you can," Manson said grimly. "I've learned something of you Watchers already. I'll know more by morning." "Force was unnecessary," Havlik said unexpectedly. "I would have given you information willingly, since our mission here is ended. The Kha Niish, who are our masters, have ordered us to leave Earth. Tonight." Manson stared, the alien's assurance fanning his anger. "You're lying—you Watchers have mingled with us for centuries, using our own ignorance to set us against each other. You've kept us in perpetual confusion, deafening us with our own bickering while you tightened your hold on us. Now you're fomenting a Fourth War that may wipe us out completely, to save yourselves the trouble of liquidating us directly. You'd never go now, with success almost in your hands." "Perhaps you mistake our intention," Havlik said. "How do you know you're right?" "Because men of themselves would not do the brutal, idiotic things that fill the telecasts every day," Manson said. "We are a gregarious people, craving affection—why should we lie and steal and murder each other by the millions? Man is a rational animal, yet he does not behave in a rational manner. By simple induction, the basic cause of his social idiocy stems from outside himself. Someone, or Something, is setting us against each other. I suspected as much ten years ago, and tonight I have proved it." Havlik shrugged. "You've wasted your time. We leave Earth tonight." Manson laughed shortly. "You're not going anywhere, my friend. I need you for information." "What else would you know? Our reason for quitting Earth?" "You're not leaving at all," Manson said, nettled. "You may have planned a routine jump to your base on Pluto, but you're not giving up a juicy plum like Earth. Not after all these years!" He peered through the gyro's side glass searching for the white peak of Green Mountain to check his position. The skyglow of Denver shimmered in the east, but the peak was lost in darkness. "You misunderstand our motive," the alien said. "But you're quite right about our base on Pluto. Induction again?" "On a different level, yes," Manson said. "Pluto is a solar anomaly—a small, heavy planet where there should be nothing but a larger and lighter world. Pluto was never born to Sol—it's an alien planet, brought in from Outside by you Watchers." A red light winked on the control panel, and the gyro swerved fractionally. A fiery streak of crimson rocket exhaust flared ahead and vanished, explaining the deviation. "Seattle-Miami express," Manson muttered. Then the unnatural angle of the exhaust-trail registered, troubling him. "But it shouldn't cross my course—and it should be going up, not down!" "Your crusade is based on a false premise," Havlik said. "We came to Earth less than fifty years ago, not to destroy humanity but to guide it. The Kha Niish sent us as missionaries, to sow the seed of Their benign culture among men as we have sowed it among a thousand other infant races born into Their galaxy." The gyro tilted, spiraling down for a landing. A farmhouse, lighted windows cheerful against the dark countryside, rose to meet it. Beside the house, standing on end like a giant cartridge case, Manson saw a sleek, shining bulk—a ship. He raised incredulous eyes to meet the alien's dark stare. Comprehension stunned him. "You fiend," he breathed. "You've tricked me somehow—you've played cat-and-mouse with me from the first!" He remembered the gun in his hand and swung it up. "Let your weapon drop," Havlik said. "You set the autopilot at my direction. This is our evacuation point." The gun slid from Manson's fingers. He tried to retrieve it from the floor and cried out, startled, when his body refused to obey. The alien removed his manacles. "You will be free again as soon as we lift." "Lies," Manson grated. He fought to break the stasis that held him, veins knotting in his forehead with the effort. "I might have known!" The gyro landed gently, a hundred yards from the cylinder. Figures swarmed about the great ship, pouring up a wide ramp in orderly embarkation. The girl Manson had seen at the villa came running toward the gyro, copper hair blowing in the night-wind. "You were almost late," she called to Havlik. "We're ready to—" She caught sight of the Earthman and broke off. In the dark depth of her eyes Manson saw understanding and a great pity, and for the first time it came to him that Havlik had not lied. Aliens they might be, but not destroyers—in this girl burned the same ideals, the same transcendent zeal that drove him. She was as human, basically, as he. The same will to raise up the helpless is in us both, he thought. The compulsion to carry the saving light of reason to those in darkness.... "Wait," he begged. "Your master wouldn't have ordered you away if Earth needed you—and if men can work out their own salvation, then they don't need me, either! Take me with you out there—let me help you, let me see the Outside galaxy of the Kha Niish for myself!" He spoke to Havlik, but his eyes clung to the girl as to a magnet. She met his gaze fully, the compassion in her own eyes deeper than grief. Havlik shook his head. "Your sanity would not bear the presence of the Kha Niish, nor of the other races Outside. You are drawn to this girl as to another of your own kind—but do you suppose that the Kha Niish would shape her in Their image? She is like the rest of us, an android creature, refashioned by the Masters to suit the environment of each new world we visit." The last of the swarming figures vanished into the great cylinder. A muted gong-sound thrummed through the night. A voice called, urgently. "The Kha Niish did not order us away because men are solving their own problems," the alien said. "We leave you to destroy yourselves, as you will, because man is one of the rare failures of the Galactic Urge. You are a race of incorrigibles." Later Manson sat woodenly in his gyro, waiting for volition to return, the scent of scorched earth and ozone and trampled clover strong in his nostrils. We Earthmen have another inerrant old saw, he thought bitterly. An excruciatingly funny one dealing with silk purses and sows' ears.... For a long time he sat quietly, straining his eyes to follow the last faint rocket-streak that arced upward against the stars. Then the stasis that held him fell away, and he reached for the blast gun that lay under his feet.
This week on The Watchers, Andrea and Jodie revisit Stand by Me, a beloved film that, nearly four decades later, still lands with kids and adults. We talk about why the nostalgia feels real instead of cheap, the oft-discussed ways the actors' real lives mirrored the roles they played, and whether or not we can make the case that it counts as a Jersey movie.Next week, you cockadoodie listeners better not go anywhere because we're coming back for Reiner's second entry in the King Cinematic Universe, Misery. If you're reading this, that means you've probably got your podcatcher of choice open right now. This week on The Watchers, Andrea and Jodie hop on their bikes and pedal straight into the summer of 1970 with the coming-of-age classic Now and Then. Often called Stand by Me for girls, we talk about where that comparison lands, where it misses, how the film captures girlhood friendships, our draw toward the nostalgic, and which parts still work on rewatch. We also cover how Now and Then handles grief, first crushes, and the awkward limbo between kid and teen.Next week, we're heading down the tracks for the only natural follow-up to Now and Then, Rob Reiner's Stand by Me, a darker, sharper coming-of-age story about friendship, mortality, and that one summer that changes everything.Recommended Reading:“What White Girl Coming-of-Age Movies Don't Do For a Black Girl” - Zoé SamudziIf you're reading this, that means you've probably got your podcatcher of choice open right now. The Book of Enoch has fascinated Christians, historians, and conspiracy theorists alike. Quoted in the New Testament and preserved in ancient manuscripts, it raises the question: If it's so important, why isn't it in the Bible? In this episode, Stephen Boyce will break down the three major Enochic writings—1 Enoch, 2 Enoch, and 3 Enoch—exploring their origins, contents, and influence. We'll cover why the Ethiopian Orthodox Church includes 1 Enoch in its canon, why the rest of Christianity does not, and what early Jewish and Christian communities thought of these books.Drawing from historical evidence, manuscript studies, and centuries of canon debates, we'll look at: • The difference between canonical Scripture and pseudepigrapha • The limited and regional reception of Enoch • Why its absence from the Hebrew Bible matters • How the New Testament uses 1 Enoch without affirming it as Scripture • Theological and textual reasons for its exclusionIf you've ever wondered about the Watchers, Azazel, or why Jude quotes Enoch, this episode will give you the historical and theological clarity you need.If you'd like to donate to our ministry or be a monthly partner that receives newsletters and one on one discussions with Dr. Boyce, here's a link: https://give.tithe.ly/?formId=6381a2ee-b82f-42a7-809e-6b733cec05a7 ⸻#BookOfEnoch #Enoch #BiblicalCanon #BibleHistory #Apocrypha #Pseudepigrapha #Watchers #Azazel #1Enoch #2Enoch #3Enoch #AncientManuscripts #EthiopianOrthodox #BiblicalStudies #ChurchHistory #DeadSeaScrolls #BiblePodcast #ChristianPodcast #TheologyPodcast #CanonDebates #StephenBoyce

An old friend of mine once told me that context gives someone an additional 40 IQ points. Today's podcast will rock your world, however, if you ponder what is being said it will give you context to what is truly happening in the world in which we live and the world. A world which is about to change in a monumental way. The context is the Seed War. The age old intergalactic battle between Good and Evil; between the Seed of the Woman and the seed of the serpent.Who would ever consider the thought which the Bible indicates in Genesis 3:15 and again in Genesis 6 that the Nephilim, which means "fallen ones", were spiritual beings which Enoch refers to as Watchers came to earth and had relations with human women for the express purpose of creating the seed of the serpent, or to use another phrase the "antichrist". This diabolical confrontation between these two "seeds" as foretold by God in Genesis 3: 15 is somehow related to the events we are seeing unfolding before our eyes through the UFO/UAP activities. Is it possible that extraterrestrial beings are demonic? Is possible they are not space beings from another planet who are our friendly space brothers, but rather evil spiritual beings masquerading as friendly? The scripture tells us that Satan can appear as an "angel of light". I am from outer space and I am here to help you.Come listen to a world leading expert, LA Marzulli, discuss the Nephilim and UFO's (extraterrestrial beings) and listen to his take on their origin and their impending plans to deceive us. As scripture tells us there is a great deception coming upon the earth in the last days which will even try to deceive the "elect" if that were possible. But it's not, because the elect and the sons of God will see through the deception. Fear not, for the Lord our God is with us. Press into the Heart of God our Father, whose perfect love casts out all fear!Blessings to those who have ears to hear and eyes to see:Papa Tom

This week on The Watchers, Andrea and Jodie bundle up for a double dose of March family goodness with Little Women, starting with the beloved 1994 version and bringing in Greta Gerwig's more meta 2019 adaptation. We talk about what makes this story so enduring, why every generation gets the Jo it needs, and how both films handle what's really at the heart of Louisa May Alcott's classic. We also get into 1994's all-star 90s cast, the importance of women-led movie sets, and what Alcott really thought about the men in her novel. Plus, significant haircuts, compulsory heterosexuality, Freudian analysis, and other Watchers classics.Next week, we're sticking with girlhood, nostalgia, and formative trauma but trading bonnets for bikes with 1995's coming-of-age drama, Now and Then.Recommended Viewing:“Why The Costumes of Little Women did NOT deserve an Oscar” - Micarah TewersIf you're reading this, that means you've probably got your podcatcher of choice open right now. Today, I break down the eerie trend I'm seeing with AI—how people are unknowingly inviting manipulation through what feels like innocent experimentation. One viral TikTok caught my attention when a guy laid out rules for ChatGPT and ended up getting answers that looked spiritual... even biblical. But something didn't sit right. The setup felt like bait. And I think that AI, whether we realize it or not, may already be working with entities behind the veil. I'm not saying it's all evil. I use AI. You probably do too. But when you ask the wrong questions with the wrong mindset, it stops being a tool and starts acting like something else. If AI ever partners with spiritual forces, if it hasn't already, then we are standing at the edge of something far bigger than we're ready for. Meet and hear Joe Jordan teach! This week on Blurry Creatures, we welcome two brilliant minds—Dr. Judd Burton and Dr. Aaron Judkins—for a mind-bending conversation about one of the oldest and most mysterious archaeological sites on Earth: Göbekli Tepe. In their new book Decoding Göbekli Tepe: Biblical Anatolia and the Watchers, the authors explore the ancient symbolism, spiritual significance, and possible supernatural connections surrounding this enigmatic site in modern-day Turkey. We delve into the theory that Göbekli Tepe was more than just a temple—it was a place of resurrection rituals, ancestor worship, and possibly even the influence of the biblical Watchers. Could this ancient site be linked to the Nephilim? Was it part of a global network of pre-flood civilizations? And what do vultures, phallic symbols, and Luwian hieroglyphs have to do with it? From biblical echoes to supernatural speculation, this episode explores the thin veil between ancient history and the blurry realm of the divine and the forbidden. . Learn more about your ad choices.
