Today’s church is dealing with challenges that prior generations could never dream of. One of the biggest is the area of gender confusion. Along the way he told us how the New Testament writings were collected and copied, the differences and similarities between the Christian bible and the Jewish holy books and differences between the bible translations. They are not cute little cherubs with wings but powerful being who serve an infinitely more powerful God. Our guest took us behind the supernatural veil that separates this world from the next to give us a better understanding of God’s holy messengers, the angels. She explained the different types of angels that we see in scripture, their many appearances throughout the bible and she gave us a unique acronym to remember the many roles that these heralds of God perform. Roe V. Wade may be a thing of the past, but abortion and all of its tendril complications are far from over. Our guest addressed the FDA’s recent approval of a generic abortion drug and the implications of that decision in the fight to save the pre-born. "In him we live and move and have our being." When Paul quoted the Greek poet Epimenides at Mars Hill in Acts 17, the Athenian philosophers weren't confused—they knew exactly what he was referencing. Their council of gods. In this LIVE from Blurry Con preview, Dr. Joel Muddamalle explains that Greek philosophy included a divine hierarchy ruling over nations and territories, strikingly similar to what Scripture describes in Deuteronomy 32:8. When God judged humanity at Babel, He didn't just scatter the nations—He disinherited them, assigning each to divine beings called "sons of God." These weren't decorative angels; they were governing authorities with real power over territories. The Greeks called them gods. The Hebrews understood them as rebellious divine council members. Paul, standing in the intellectual epicenter of the ancient world, used their own theology against them: "That council you worship? They're defeated rebels. The 'Unknown God' you acknowledge but don't know? That's Yahweh—and His Son Jesus Christ has authority over every power you've been serving." Joel walks through how Paul's Mars Hill sermon connects to the entire biblical narrative of spiritual warfare: the serpent's Eden rebellion, Babel's cosmic judgment, Mount Hermon where divine beings (Watchers) descended and corrupted the nations they were supposed to steward, and ultimately Christ's victory reclaiming all territory and authority. This is why Paul could confidently quote Greek poets—he wasn't compromising truth, he was revealing it through a framework the Greeks already understood. Joel explains what the divine council is, why geography matters in spiritual warfare, where demons originate (not fallen angels—Scripture doesn't teach that), how territorial spirits function, and why missions and prayer look different when you understand cosmic geography. The Greeks believed in a council of gods ruling over territories. Paul said: You're right about the structure, but wrong about who's in charge. Christ has defeated them all and reclaimed His rightful dominion. This conversation bridges ancient philosophy, Hebrew theology, and practical spiritual warfare—showing they're not contradictory but complementary when understood correctly. The most common assumption is that this (somehow) means the Law was a response to Adam's sin, or human sins. But Adam sinned only once so far as the Bible tells us.Opting for the law being added in response to human sins doesn't address why humanity became so wicked that it needed the law. Most Christians would defer to Adam's transgression at this point, but there is no Romans 5:12 in Galatians (Romans is a later epistle). This episode takes a minority view of Paul's statement about the addition of the law—at least among Christians. This view, however, reflects the viewpoint of nearly every Second Temple Jewish text (Paul's era) known to exist that comments on human depravity:  that the Law was added to restrain human evil, which proliferated not because of Adam, but because of the sin of the Watchers in Gen 6:1-4.

IT APPEARS Hamas has accepted President Trump's 20-point plan for peace in Gaza. We say “appears” because Hamas said nothing in its formal acceptance about demilitarizing, and it insists on a role in governing Gaza after Israel withdraws. Both points are key for Israel, the US, and the Palestinian Authority, which holds no love for Hamas. The plan calls for security in Gaza to be provided by 5,000 Palestinians who've been training in Egypt in recent months, who will be joined by Palestinian police officers currently training in Jordan—which means there have been plans in the works for the handover of Gaza from Israel to Palestinians. Per i24 News: The security forces will operate under the supervision and management of a Gaza Management Committee that will include 15 Palestinian technocrats, who will operate under the guidance of the Gaza Management Council, which will be led by Tony Blair, which itself will operate within the framework of the mandate given to it by the Governing Council, which will be led by President Trump. Will peace last? We're skeptical. Religious fundamentalists, especially Muslims, don't give up their beliefs easily, and it's their belief the land of Israel belongs to them. (The spiritual forces behind this belief are the focus of Derek's 2018 book Bad Moon Rising and his forthcoming book War of the Watchers.) Meanwhile, the UN is pushing for the right to fight non-communicable diseases, including mental health. That would give the UN and the WHO power to govern social media. Apparently, social media can make you crazy, so the globalists should be allowed to police mis-, dis-, and malinformation. Thankfully, the US is not on board with this power grab.
