What an excellent episode with Kate Anthony. If you don’t know Kate, let me tell you a little bit about her -- She’s a badass, certified life coach who helps women decide if they should stay in or leave their marriages. Kate especially empowers women to find their strength, passion, and confidence and helps them move forward with concrete plans by putting their children at the center (not in the middle) of all decisions. In addition to all of this, Kate has also trained as a relationship coach and is an expert in communication, co-parenting, and emotional intelligence. Also awesome? Kate had a 30 year career as an actor before venturing into becoming a coach. She shared her whole story on this episode, from transitioning from actor to coach, wife to single mom, and artist to entrepreneur --- and how she’s worked on her “money mindset’ in the process and continues to grow in new ways with her relationship with money. Some of my favorite highlights... The steps Kate took to expand her money mindset and overcome her the belief that being creative equaled “poverty,” based on what she learned from her parents. How being an “over-sharer” has helped her cultivate a powerful social media presence and connect with her clients. The hot pink sweater she wore on Grey’s Anatomy on her very first episode. Why starting a business has allowed her to be immensely creative and the journey of building a business. The concept of charging your ‘worth’ versus pricing for your market (and beyond). “The Jamie Jensen Mindset” -- I MEAN, OBVIOUSLY. LOL. I didn’t even know that was a thing but now it is. We also mentioned… Denise Duffield Thomas of Lucky Bitch [right here] Amy Smith of The Joy Junkie [right here] Kira Sabin of The League of Adventurous Singles [right here] But here’s where you really wanna go to get more of Kate’s brilliance: Her Podcast: Divorce Survival Guide Podcast with Kate Anthony [right here] Her Program: “Should I Stay Or Should I Go?” [right here] Her Instagram: @coachkateanthony Here’s to healthy marriages, healthy relationships with money, and creating like you mean it. xx Jamie

http://yourkickasslife.com/163 Hey Ass Kickers! I can absolutely guarantee that this episode of the podcast is unlike any that you’ve listened to (as if you couldn’t tell by the title)? I wanted to do something a bit different, so I’m bringing on two good friends, and pasts guests: Amy Smith of The Joy Junkie and Kira Sabin of The League of Adventurous Singles. Both Amy and Kira will be co-hosting Tanning, Tacos and Transformation with me, and I thought this episode would be a great way for me to introduce you to them - if you don’t already know who they are! I promise you are going to hear some personal development and topics we talk about a lot of the podcast: worthiness, confidence, boundaries, relationships and more. Most of this chat though is us asking each other some ridiculous questions, for which we have some even more ridiculous answers. I do want to warn you that there is a lot of foul language in this one, and it contains probably the most bad words I’ve ever had in an episode (needless to say, today’s conversation isn’t for children)!
This week, Kira Sabin joins Paula Jenkins to chat about love and relationships. She’s the Troop Leader over at the League of Adventurous Singles where she encourages single women to embrace the awesomeness of singleness, take responsibility of what is “theirs,” and let go of whatever is holding them back. She leads singles to figure out what they want, how to love, making decisions based on love (not fear). She believes in adventures, and breaking down walls, and revising mindset and confidence as the building blocks of discovering a relationship that feels right. The other thing we chat about, at the beginning of our discussion is our deep seated love of Judy Blume, and of Anne of Green Gables. Kira has worked on a cruise ship, visited Prince Edward Island (Anne’s home), and she and I get into the debate of which is better? The 1985 version of “Anne of Green Gables” or the brand new “Anne with an E” that is now out on Hulu? The votes are in and you’ll have to listen to hear the reviews. Dr. Karin welcomes Kira Sabin of The League of Adventurous Singles to the podcast. Kira shares her philosophy for thriving while flying solo and reveals methods from her coaching practice, The Owner’s Manual. Spoiler alert: you will NOT learn the mysteries of the male mind (because Karin and Kira are women, after all) nor will you discover the secret to finding The One (because sadly, there’s no magic bullet) but you WILL learn strategies for loving yourself and loving your life—because as Kira says, “great relationships start with ourselves!”
Single? That leaves you in one of three categories: Newly Single, Dating your wine box and Netflix account, or sorta dating. Or maybe you’re sick of dating and want to settle down? Kira Sabin with The League of Adventurous Singles is here to help you create your own Owner’s Manual just for you! Doesn’t that sound amazing? Create an owner’s manual and then be willing to stand by it in any relationship. I’m not single, am happily married, but am still considering the Owner’s Manual course to define some of my wants and needs and how to make them clear if the occasion calls for it. Plus, Kira has some amazing adventures planned that you won’t want to miss out on! Listen, enjoy, and learn to rock that single status!
The Get Paid Podcast: The Stark Reality of Entrepreneurship and Being Your Own Boss
Welcome back! I am incredibly excited about today's guest, the “Troop Leader of Love” and founder of League of Adventurous Singles, Kira Sabin. Kira is a life and love coach specifically for singles looking for help navigating the crazy world of dating. She works primarily with female clients – with a few men sprinkled in for a bit of added flavor, and she helps her clients navigate their love life and the dating scene in a rather interesting and unique way. Today, she breaks it down for us, answering all of my uncomfortable questions, including how she gets paid – and how much she has made so far this year. She also allows me to pick her brain a little on the types of mistakes she has made over her 8-year career as a “love coach” and shares a bit of advice for other life coaches and business owners.
Kira is a certified life coach, Troop Leader of Love for The League of Adventurous Singles, speaker, travel junkie, coffee aficionado, champagne lover, story collector, life explorer & seven layers of ridiculous. Oh! And she is from America's Dairyland, Madison, WI and yes, she loves cheese. Join us and learn how to get offline and out of your comfort zone (we're talking unicorns!) in order to find love.
Kira Sabin is a life coach for singles, unicorn wrangler, and is the Troop Leader of Love over at the League for Adventurous Singles. This one is for all the single ladies, although I promise this woman is AMAZING and there’s going to be something in this episode for everyone. We’re chatting about why you need to stop looking for “the one,” learning about your own needs in a romantic relationship, how your history with love (from even before you started dating) is impacting your relationships, how to get out of your comfort zone for love, and how scavenger huts (yes, SCAVENGER HUNTS) can help with dating and rejection. It’s going to be a fascinating conversation that I can’t wait to share with you.
