This episode features Kathy Ganser of Devil's Creek Brewery. "Wouldn't it be cool to start a brewery?" The seed was planted in 2015, Kathy and Anthony decided to open a brewery. Kathy went for it and dove right in. Doing site planning and drawing from her background in graphic design, she made the branding come alive. The name pays homage to a Jersey Devil sighting in Collingswood. At the creek right behind where the brewery sits. Like many breweries Anthony and Kathy began as home brewers. Early on Anthony was winning awards for his home craft beer. They put their heart and soul into building out the local neighborhood place. Today Kathy is creating recipes that are winning awards in national competitions. The beers are strong in flavor and character. Tonight we get an update on Devil's Creek from Shane Corson. Shane is a member of the Olympic Project, and host of Monster X Radio. He also just so happens to be one of the few who have had the chance to investigate the property. In fact, just days ago he had some interesting events occur while spending the night in the wilds of Washington. With plans in the works to begin filming on location at the end of the month, we find out that the property is just as active as ever.   Dry towns in NJ are jumping on the bandwagon and changing their laws to allow craft breweries and Collingswood is no exception. Kathy Abate from Devil's Creek visited our studio to talk about their brewery in a dry town, how they have become so popular and some of the problems they have encountered because of it.   She also brought samples of their beer for us to try as we discussed the styles they brew and what their future holds. She let us in on a little secret on that future.
