Mike Murman joins host, Landon Rhodes, to discuss his journey from creating Pen-Link, an industry preferred wiretapping software provider, to then turning his wine making hobby into the successful family business, Glacial Till. Pen-Link is a wiretapping software company that develops communications surveillance data collection and analysis solutions for domestic law enforcement. This software helped crack the 2002 Laci Peterson domestic homicide case and assisted in the security of the 2002 Salt Lake City, Utah Winter Olympics. Mike now spends his time running Glacial Till Vineyards with his family. Their cider was named the grand champion and was awarded three gold medals at the 2019 U.S. Cider Championship. Glacial Till is the youngest cidery ever to be named the national champion.

Episode 134. No guests. And technically no sponsors. BUT....we did receive samples of a CBD/Beer product to review. That product is called...wait for it...CBeerD. What makes us qualified to review CBD products? Nothing. We're CBD virgins. Maybe that's why we're qualified. But it was fun. Check out CBeerD.co. Try some whilst listening to us ramble about units of lengths, state borders, Ben Affleck, and engagement photos. All while drinking beverages from Kros Strain, Dillon Dam Brewery and Glacial Till. This craft beer from Glacial Till combines the refreshing flavor of a mojito with the easy-drinking nature of a hard cider. Glacial Till Vineyard & Winery is based out of Palmyra Village in Nebraska: Population 545, but they have a vineyard! Part of a growing movement of Midwest-based craft breweries and vineyards, Glacial Till discovered the cornhusker state is actually perfect for a solid microbrewery in the heart of the U.S. (because the earth was tilled by glaciers — see what they did there?) So if you are traveling through Nebraska, or want to hit up a fun location while visiting the Atlas MedStaff Headquarters, you can plan a detour to try the Glacial Till Tasting Room in Ashland, Nebraska, for some hard cider, shaved ice, and maybe a charcuterie board to share. Cheers!
Because we're drinking ciders. You didn't think we were going alcohol-free, did you? That was a dumb assumption on your part. In this episode, we talk about bidets and the possibility of starting a poop blog. You could be the next face of poop! Do quacks echo? Is Connor smart? Racism. COVID. My Little Pony Nazis. And Zack Greinke (unrelated). All while drinking ciders from Saro, Boiler and Glacial Till. Episode 79 is here. April Simms came, and she let Matt tag along with her. And we all brought some ciders to the party. In this episode, we go deep into Avengers: Endgame. Really deep. As in...if you don't want to hear about Endgame, skip past the first 1:43:05. And maybe even some stuff after that. We then go straight into spoiling Game of Thrones. If you don't want that spoiled either, maybe just sit this one out. In the middle there, we ate some death chocolate. We learned about April's "list." We learned about a caller's list and his desire to have a threesome with Connor and Blake Lively. And we drank ciders from Saro, Glacial Till, and James Arthur.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/three-beers-later/donationsWant to advertise on this podcast?
