What if the signs your body gives you are trying to tell a deeper story? In this episode, Carrie talks with Laura Tolosi—nutritionist, mother, and author—about her journey of self-discovery, healing, breaking free from the cycle of negative self-talk, and finally learn to receive. In her chapter Loving Yourself from the Inside Out in The Lighthouse Series Volume 2: Beautiful Chaos, Laura opens up about the moment she realized that emotional healing is just as vital as physical health. Professionally, she was focused on nutrition—but personally, she found herself waking up emotionally, recognizing the ways her body was signalling deeper truths. With vulnerability and wisdom, she reflects on a seed of insecurity planted during childhood, the struggles of body image, and the impact of fat shaming. Becoming a mother shifted her perspective—driving her to be the role model her daughters could look up to. Laura's story is a reminder that loving yourself from the inside out takes intention, community, and trust in your own body's wisdom.#Podcast #BeautifulChaosUseful ResourcesClick here to find links to follow all our guests.Click here to learn about FoundHer projects & events!

Tisa's chapter, Now What, explores the power of embracing challenges—navigating uncomfortable experiences and relationships that ultimately foster personal growth. Tisa's story is one of hardiness and resilience, shaped by her willingness to say “yes” to unforeseen opportunities with curiosity and compassion. Her journey wasn't without struggle—feelings of inadequacy often surfaced, contrasting sharply with her determination to grow. However, with the support of someone who believed in her, and stepping up to possibilities, she learned to reframe doubt as a catalyst for improvement rather than a setback. From dropping out of high school to an advanced critical care nursing. Now What? Carrie and Tisa also discuss the experience of contributing to Beautiful Chaos. Writing her chapter was not just a creative process but a deeply personal and therapeutic one. “All the feels came through in the writing process,” Tisa shares. Working with the editor was especially helpful, providing guidance and perspective that strengthened her storytelling. Tisa hopes to inspire others to take the first step toward new opportunities—even when it feels uncomfortable.

From navigating childhood in survival mode to redefining a trauma, she has turned her journey into a gift—guiding others as a life coach to break free from their past and step into their soul expansion. At just 16, Emma found herself at a Tony Robbins event, absorbing the energy of a room filled with possibility. That pivotal moment ignited a fire within her: I can do the brave things. Through strength, courage, and an unshakable belief in herself, she rewrote the narrative of her life—not as a victim, but as a creator. A real husband knows how to push your buttons better than anyone else.He leaves his socks everywhere, you end up taking out the trash, and he snores like a wild beast. The man who makes you want to scream is also the one who makes you laugh until your sides hurt. Without the madness, it's not real. "I still try to be that authentic person, I think that's important for me...It makes it difficult because everything you do is under a microscope and everything you say is under a microscope..." Jason Kelce  As the NFL Kicks off this week, there will be some famous football faces missing on the sidelines, notably the greatest coach of all time Bill Belichick and Super Bowl Champ & future Hall of Famer Jason Kelce.  Although not too far from the sidelines, these guys are making the pivot into different roles this season analyzing the game they love vs competing for it week after week. But Jason shares with Ryan, Channing and Fred that he's been pivoting his entire life, as it hasn't always been the pageantry of fame, success and celebritism we see now.  In this episode of The Pivot Podcast in partnership with Fanatics, Jason reflects back on the ups and downs of his football journey, his family-first mentality, his relationship with his brother Travis, meeting his wife Kylie and how he manages to stay even-keeled in the current chaos of his life. We laugh a lot and learn even more about the man behind the jolly smile we see all the time. Hard work and success has always been core to the Kelce family, but the spotlight seems to be shining the brightest now on the family.  A 6th round NFL draft pick turned Super Bowl champ with a NFL career spanning 13 years including 7 Pro Bowl seasons, The former Philadelphia Eagle may be retired from football but says he's taken on more jobs now than he's ever had before. Preparing to work alongside Ryan for ESPN Monday Night Football Countdown each week while continuing to build his podcast empire with Travis after recently signing a deal worth over a $100M, one of the largest podcast deals done to date.  Growing up in Cleveland Heights, it's sometimes hard for Jason to imagine how two brothers not just made it to the NFL but crafted a career filled with accolades and now have taken the world by storm with their brotherly bond as their personal and professional lives are captivating not just sports fans, but everyone.  Ryan asks Jason how he is handling it all and how escapes the limelight to find quiet for himself and with his wife and kids. Jason says staying true to who he is and not changing has helped balance out the expectations and lets us in on his secret getaway to block out the noise. Extremely grateful for the opportunities, Jason recognizes the positives that have come with the meteoric rise the past 2 years between the Super Bowl match up vs Travis, to Kylie and his mom becoming household favorites to their podcast taking off to his brother's personal life dating Taylor Swift bringing them all under a different type of microscope.  The trio chat about they dynamics of Jason's relationship with Travis amongst so many big changes, from his relationship with Taylor to their business endeavors as he shares with Fred, Channing and Ryan that at the grass roots, him and Travis are very similar humans with the same core values and opens up on a few of the the traits that make them different, from pop culture tastes to footwear. Jason credits his wife Kylie for impacting him in a ways he can't put into words and says she is the anchor, holding everything down as the waters continue to wash in new things everyday.  Talking football as the guys do, Jason offers a unique perspective into his own career, the Eagles, Andy Reid and on what makes Travis and Patrick Mahomes so darn special and hard to defend as the discussion of a Chiefs 3peat becomes more real as the season gets ready to kick off. And of course, Channing and Jason exchange some of their stories that make them lovable and give us all laughs.  Stay tapped into all things Pivot and subscribe! In this episode, DJ invited author Fiona Valentine on the show to discuss her unique perspective of parenting a special needs child, embracing unconventional education solutions, finding patience in any setbacks and celebrating baby steps. Stay tuned as Fiona sheds light on the ever-changing nature of autism and the balancing act required to create a harmonious and joyful family life to ensure the needs of all the children are met (including those without autism). Fiona is an Australian artist,  founder of Business School for Artists and author of Tiny Wings.  She loves talking about creativity, finding work you love (and how as a parent of a neuro diverse child you can work towards that for your kids). When her daughter was young, hope for the future got buried under advocating and trying to find a diagnosis.  Her hope is that sharing their story will help families who are in the thick of parenting - especially if special needs are part of their life. Her book Tiny Wings is written for girls with autism and the people who love them.TIMESTAMPS • [5:55] It's such a journey of discovery… There are so many variations. How many of us envision our dreams and goals to a "T" and when they start to unfold, we almost miss them happening before us? I am a dreamer. I love to glamorize my dreams in my head and work hard in order to hopefully see them through. But so often, I am already living one of my dreams and I am missing every moment of it. Too often we glamorize our dreams to the point of perfection and then we forget to insert "life" into it. So when it starts to unfold, sometimes all we see is the chaos and the hard moments, when in reality, our dream has come true, but it exists with the added beautiful chaos of life.
