The Nebraska Cornhuskers had a bye week after completing the first third of the 2025 football season. The Huskers are 3-1 (0-1 in the Big Ten). This week's show is going to be an analysis/assessment of the first four games. Hoss will have scouting reports on how opponents defend Dana Holgorsen's offense. He also has a few ideas on how we can defend Michigan State when the Spartans come to town next week. The bye week for Nebraska was a day of chaos across the Big Ten, with close games seemingly coast to coast. The trio will discuss that as well and prepare you for Sparty.

The Michigan Wolverines won at The Nebraska Cornhuskers 30-27 on the strength of 290 rush yards. The Texas Tech Red Raiders won at The Utah Utes 34-10. Bill opened the show by explaining why the Los Angeles Chargers are legit and named the man most responsible for their turnaround. Bill and Ryan then go back and forth on the biggest surprises from Week 3 in the NFL before diving into 5 Things You Need To Know From Week 4 In College Football, where Bill reacted to Clemson falling to 1-3, UNC getting smoked by UCF and Nebraska losing their 29th consecutive game against a ranked opponent. Hour two kicked off with USA Today's Jarrett Bell joining the show to break down his biggest reactions from Week 3 before diving into Buy or Sell, where Bill answered if the Buccaneers are legitimate Super Bowl contenders and if Arch Manning was in the wrong for staring down a Sam Houston State defender after trucking him. The show ended with Bill discussing whether there should be concern about the Green Bay Packers after their loss to the Browns.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers played valiantly, displaying a degree of mental toughness that fans have been waiting for for years. But there are no such things as moral victories, and after Nebraska's 30-27 loss to #18 Michigan, today can cause us to feel empty or hollow. The defense gave up some big runs that tilted the stats and the game. It looked at times like we forgot how to tackle, and the CBS announcers noticed, frequently remarking about the form tacking by the Wolverine defenders while our defenders attempted arm tackles, ran past the ball carrier, or just plan whiffed. We tried to go for it on fourth down on the first drive and came up empty. We missed a field goal that could have forced overtime. We left points on the field. But hear me out. Dylan Raiola eclipsed the 300-yardmark while practically running for his life all game. Jacory Barney Jr. added to his career touchdown total with two really nice receiving scores. Dasan McCullough played like a man possessed, and Javin Wright was the game's leading tackler. There's a lot of fight in this team that didn't quit when they trailed by double digits in the fourth quarter. There were some ballsy calls, like the clock management just before halftime that led to the Hail Mary touchdown. In the end, and it guts me to say this, this game was about Jimmy's and Joe's. We need more beef up front, on both sides of the ball. We need competent offensive tackles, or we need our coaching staff to have enough faith in the kid they brought from Alabama to keep him in the game despite a questionable false start. But at the end of the day, I think Nebraska will bounce back from this, and in a big way. I still think the trajectory of this team is that of a 9-10 win team (don't worry, I'll never not pick Nebraska).
Sean Baligian goes Off The Air for his Week 4 College Football Reaction Show, breaking down another wild Saturday across the sport. Michigan handled Nebraska with a suffocating defense and a freshman QB still finding his rhythm, while Michigan State fans braced for the worst against USC. Sean also digs into the unraveling at Clemson, why narratives don't die until teams kill them, and why the 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers remain the greatest team he's ever seen.Beyond the Big Ten, Sean gives props to Arkansas–Memphis for being the weekend's most entertaining game, calls out Wisconsin's stunning decline, and runs through playoff paths that could leave even great 9–3 teams sitting at home. Plus, a look at Arch Manning's big day (against Sam Houston State), Indiana's improbable playoff chase, and what it will really take for Penn State to change their narrative.Funny, fiery, and unfiltered—Sean brings the late-night honesty every college football fan needs after a Saturday of madness.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers left no doubt Saturday night, dominating the Akron Zips 68-0. On the Overreaction Show, Greg, Hoss, and Jake will look at the big win and discuss all that came from it. Over 700 yards of offense A shutout from all levels of the defensive depth chart A blocked field goal Running back room productivity Quarterbacks finding receivers all over the field A well-coached ballgame No punts. Sorry Archie's parents. Maybe next week. It was the kind of game that we hope for...a game that didn't go down to the wire, that was won at halftime, and where the second- and third-string players saw abundant minutes and still succeeded. All in all...we're celebrating tonight!
KSU (4-1-1): The K-State women's soccer team suffers their 1st loss of the 2025 season getting shutout by the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Sunday afternoon.
It's time for The Nebraska Hour! Huskers got the win against the Cincinnati Bearcats and now the Akron Zips are visiting Lincoln for the home opener this weekend! Timmy Nebraska is joined by Brock White and Brandon Bral to discuss that, and so much more!
Mike Evans and Brandon Stokley with Mark Schlereth kick off the fourth hour highlighting a forgotten man on the offense: JK Dobbins, and they project how the RB’s will split snaps. They debate who the #1 team in college football is after week one of the season and they celebrate the downfall of Alabama, the SEC, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The guys go full ESPN and discuss LeBron James’ legacy after another piece of propaganda for himself before they debate the pros and cons of Jokic playing summer basketball. The guys finish the show on some nonsense and a close call.
Well, it wasn't always pretty, but the Nebraska Cornhuskers are 1-0 after a 20-17 win over the Cincinnati Bearcats at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium. The Huskers overcame an early field goal deficit to take a 13-3 halftime lead, exhibiting the ability to sustain long drives (even if they stalled at the goal line). The game featured a 100-yard rusher in Emmett Johnson and two throwing touchdowns from Dylan Raiola, but it came down to an interception on Cincinnati's last offensive attempt, as Malcom Hartzog Jr. picked off a Brendan Sorsby pass. While some red-clad fans left the game after the Huskers took a big lead in the third quarter, those who stayed were treated to a little too much excitement, as Nebraska failed to cover, but succeeded where or when it mattered most. Tonight, Greg, Hoss, and Jake will take us back to Thursday night and offer their insights in the game. And maybe, just maybe, be able to convince you that things are not "doom and gloom" in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Jeff Howell and David Simone recap the first week of the season, a "home" loss against the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City for your Cincinnati Bearcats, 20-17, before taking a look around the college football scoreboard for week one. Join the conversation live every Sunday during the season on the Bearcat Journal Twitch and YouTube channels, and don't forget to like and subscribe while you're there!
On this episode of the JT Sports Podcast, JT reacts to the Colorado Buffaloes falling 27–20 to Georgia Tech and explains why the Colorado Buffaloes are stuck in an early identity crisis without Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter. From the Colorado Buffaloes' run-first pivot to Deion Sanders' shaky clock management, I separate what's real from week-one noise. Then it's Nebraska Cornhuskers grit with Dylan Raiola's growth, plus Auburn Tigers vs Baylor Bears where Jackson Arnold's legs eased the heat on Hugh Freeze. I also challenge the “celebrity coach era” hype and torch the myth that a Group of Five auto-bid always fits a 12-best College Football Playoff. One sharp truth here is going to get fanbases tight—and I'm not pulling it back.

Join us this Tuesday night at 8pm CST as All the Right Movies will cover North Dallas Forty starring Omaha's own Nick Nolte as well as Mac Davis. The movie was based on the Peter Gent tell-all book of the same name and is not only hilarious, but manages to also capture the immense pain players go through and how through all the garbage they still love the game. It's not much of a secret the two main characters were based on Gent and Don Meredith in their Cowboys days - the only thing those uniforms are missing is the star on the helmet. You will also recognize John Matuzak and you can bet he wasn't acting too much with his rage-fueled monologue to the coaches near the end. Don't let the 1979 release date stop you - yes, the scenes, especially of the two games, weren't exactly shot in NFL facilities. But the performances, especially Nolte's, ring true and deliver plenty of laughs. Need one last selling point? The NFL and the Cowboys wanted NOTHING to do with this film. North Dallas Forty - see you there. NEBRASKA CORNHUSKERS

The SEC Meetings continue in Destin. Alabama Crimson Tide coach Kalen DeBoer, Georgia Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart and Ole Miss Rebels coach Lane Kiffin all hit the podium yesterday. What the Alabama Football, Georgia Football and Ole Miss Football coaches had to say. Also, Outkick college football writer Trey Wallace joins the show from Destin.
