The Clare District Soccer League is appealing to perpetrators of repetitive vandalism at Frank Healy Park to immediately terminate their 'mindless' behaviour. Since last summer, ground staff at the county grounds say they've been dealing with consistent intrusion, which has escalated in recent times to the destruction of dressing room doors, toilet facilities and an entire CCTV system. The league estimates that the defacement of property and theft of equipment at the site could cost up to €10,000 to rectify. CDSL Grants & Compliance Officer, Richard Cahill believes those responsible don't understand the consequences of their actions.
