Matchday 28 in Serie A delivered pure drama, from Atalanta's historic thrashing of Juventus in Turin to Inter and Milan's identical comebacks from 2-0 down against relegation battlers. Bologna ended an eight-year drought, while Napoli finally snapped their five-game winless run. Parma's Pellegrino rolled back the years with a Crespo-inspired celebration after bagging a brace, and Venezia snatched a last-gasp equalizer against Como in their survival fight. Roma's winning streak rolls on, Cagliari and Genoa shared the spoils, and Lazio were held by Udinese under the Monday night lights.Tune in for all the action!Special Shoutout to our Media Partners Benevo Bid - Check out their collection here; https://benevobid.com/#acmilan #inter #juventus #torino #napoli #atalanta #bologna #fiorentina #roma #lazio #lecce #cagliari #udinese #monza #venezia #como #hellasverona #parma #empoli #genoa #football #soccer #footballpodcast #podcastPatreon (Support our Content): https://patreon.com/Serieaspotlight?utm_medium=unknown&utm_source=join_link&utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator&utm_content=copyLinkYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/@serieaspotlightInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/serieaspotlight/Twitter: https://x.com/SerieASpotlight?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5EauthorTimestamps:00:00-12:43 Intro12:43-56:04 Title Race56:04-01:37:12 European Qualification01:37:12-02:01:18 Relegation Battle

Ruben Selles' side were 1-0 winners at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, giving themselves a huge boost in their quest for Championship survival. A fourth away win in five games moved them clear of the bottom three with results elsewhere over the weekend also going in their favour. City now head to Cardiff looking to back up that win and move six points clear of danger on Tuesday night, and in the latest 1904 Club podcast, Bazz, Fletch, Kathryn and Prutts look back on that fine win in the North East, and ahead to this week's long trip to South Wales. Jimbo has Daniel Storey, JJ Bull and Adrian Clarke for company after a pivotal weekend in the Premier League season. Liverpool make light work of Man City at the Etihad, going 11 points clear at the top of the table. With 7 of their 11 remaining fixtures at Anfield, Liverpool will surely be worthy champions. But is City's place in the top 4 or 5 under threat? Arsenal are beaten at the Emirates by Graham Potter's West Ham. Next up, as part of a full midweek programme, a trip to a Forest side beaten 4-3 at Newcastle on Sunday. The bottom three all lose at home, each conceding 4 goals. It's looking pretty bleak for any hopes of a relegation fight - has van Nistelrooy given up hope? Plus an Edwards-inspired Burnley, a Jackson-deficient Chelsea and Amorim's refusal to paper over cracks. Produced by Charlie Jones. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Man City 0-2 Liverpool with James Pearce (04.30) • PART 2a: Arsenal 0-1 West Ham (19.00) • PART 2b: Newcastle 4-3 Nottingham Forest (24.00) • PART 3a: Bigging up Burnley and the latest from Pittodrie (32.00) • PART 3b: Bournemouth 0-1 Wolves & Southampton 0-4 Brighton (37.00) • PART 3c: Aston Villa 2-1 Chelsea (40.00) • PART 3d: The rest of the Premier League weekend (46.00) Learn more about your ad choices. Ian Croll, Joe Thomas and Chris Beesley make the starting line up for this week's Monday podcast as the lads look back and analyse Everton's 3-1 defeat to West Ham. This was a frustrating defeat for Everton that will do little to ease the nerves around a club still hopeful of avoiding another horrible relegation battle. The four point reprieve earlier this week, along with a good, if galling, point at Brighton, gave this match the potential to cap off seven days that could have reshaped the Blues' season. Instead it was another story of wasted chances, late goals and disappointed home fans. #EFC EvertonFC #EvertonFootballClub Everton FC podcasts from the Liverpool ECHO's Royal Blue YouTube channel.
