Hyun Soo Kim collected two hits and Mark Leiter tossed 6 2/3 innings but was charged with the loss in Game 2 of the doubleheader. Phillies manager Pete Mackanin discusses the loss to the Braves.
A fan threw a can at Baltimore Orioles outfielder Hyun Soo Kim during the seventh inning of Tuesday's AL wild card game. With the score tied 2-2, pinch-hitter Melvin Upton Jr. flied out to the track in left. Kim made the catch despite the can narrowly missing him as it came out of the stands behind him. Centre-fielder Adam Jones gestured toward the seats, and manager Buck Showalter came out to register his displeasure with the umpires. It was not immediately known whether the fan was ejected. Should the Rogers Centre still be serving beer in cans after this incident? B.C. MP Gord Johns introduced a private member's bill Tuesday, calling for a national cycling strategy. “Our country is facing many challenges including soaring healthcare and infrastructure costs, reducing GHG emissions, and traffic congestion,” declares a note on his website. “We need to do more to make Canada a cycling nation.” Does this country need such a strategy? Would it work with our Canadian winters? AM640 Legal Analyst Lorne Honickman joins the show to talk Jays/Orioles, pig feeding, and the cyclist/cabbie war.
Not to mention Zach Britton is still perfect on the year with 47 consecutive saves. The #Orioles hold on to the second wild card spot behind the #BlueJays by just one game. #BuckleUp
Hyun Soo Kim aggravated his hamstring last week. If he goes on the DL, a Joey Rickard/Nolan Reimold platoon could bridge the gap.

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Hyun Soo Kim is adjusting to MLB play nicely, and fans who weren't patient enough with him are left eating their words.
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Hyun-soo Kim has played well when given the chance, but his chances never seem to increase, even in good matchups. Why is that?
