Mais tarde, assumiu o desafio de liderar empresas de tecnologia: foi co-CEO da Easy Taxi e vice-presidente de operações do Nubank, período em que consolidou sua reputação como especialista em gestão de pessoas e cultura organizacional. Slator's Head of Research Anna Wyndham joins Florian on the pod to discuss Microsoft's research paper “Working with AI: Measuring the Occupational Implications of Generative AI”, a study that stirred significant debate across social media.The paper, based on 200,000 anonymized Microsoft Copilot interactions, aims to understand what tasks people ask AI to perform and how effectively those tasks are completed. Pairing this with the US O*NET database of occupational tasks, researchers created an "AI applicability score" to assess overlap between AI-capable tasks and real-world job functions.Anna emphasizes that the researchers distinguish between AI performing individual tasks and full jobs. Even the most affected roles, like interpreters and translators, show only partial overlap, around 50%, with activities AI can complete.Florian and Anna stress that the research does not claim AI will replace top-ranked occupations. Rather, it shows where AI is most often helpful, with knowledge-based activities like writing, summarizing, and gathering information topping the list. The Microsoft researchers also acknowledge key limitations. For example, jobs are more than bundles of disconnected tasks; they involve context, judgment, and synthesis, often referred to as the "glue" that AI lacks. Additionally, Anna points out that Copilot's integration into tools used by knowledge workers may bias the results in its favor.Ultimately, the duo agree the paper validates what's already known: AI is helpful for language-related tasks, but not transformational enough yet to supplant the people who perform them.

Initially fearing that standardization would stifle innovation and turn agile practices into rigid frameworks, he discovered the bigger picture when he became scrum master chapter lead for 12 scrum masters across multiple locations and cultures. The breakthrough came from implementing a three-level standardization approach: level 1 for non-negotiables, level 2 for encouraged patterns, and level 3 for team-specific innovations. Using the 80/20 principle, they focused on the 20% of standards that would create 80% of alignment. The scrum master chapter became a learning hub where teams could share their level 3 innovations, creating a balance between consistency and creativity that enabled effective cross-tribe collaboration. Repoussés, renégociés... Les nouveaux droits de douane américains portant sur des produits brésiliens exportés entrent en vigueur ce mercredi 6 août 2025. Ils illustrent les tensions croissantes entre les États-Unis et le Brésil autour du sort judiciaire de l'ancien président Jair Bolsonaro. Et leurs conséquences sont déjà visibles dans le pays.   Alors qu'ils entrent ce mercredi 6 août 2025 en vigueur, la presse brésilienne fait le point sur les conséquences que vont avoir les 50% de surtaxes imposés par Donald Trump sur les produits brésiliens. Le média en ligne G1 s'inquiète. Le café n'est toujours pas exempté de ces droits de douane, alors qu'il s'agit du principal produit agricole brésilien vendu aux États-Unis. Selon le média, les pertes, seulement pour le café, pourraient dépasser les 481 millions de dollars. De son côté, le média local NSC Total, basé à Florianópolis, fait le point sur les conséquences déjà visibles dans l'État de Santa Catarina. De nombreuses entreprises locales, de meubles et de produits en bois, destinaient près de 100% de leur production au marché américain. Selon NSC Total, certaines d'entre elles ont déjà commencé à licencier des travailleurs. Face à ces conséquences en chaîne, le quotidien conservateur de l'État du Paraná, Gazeta do Povo, critique le manque de réponse concrète de Lula. Et tente la comparaison : «Les taux appliqués aux produits brésiliens sont plus du double de ceux appliqués aux dictatures de gauche et ouvertement anti-américaines comme le Venezuela et le Nicaragua.»     La pression s'accroît sur les Haïtiens qui tentent de fuir la guerre    Dans son édition du jour, le média dominicain El Diario Libre évoque «la tragédie haïtienne qui se poursuit dans l'indifférence internationale». Mardi (5 août 2025), le gouvernement dominicain a annoncé avoir expulsé 31 462 Haïtiens au mois de juillet 2025. C'est le résultat du combat du président Luis Abinader contre l'entrée illégale des Haïtiens dans son pays. Le quotidien liste les «rafles, expulsions, suspension de la délivrance de visas et renforcement de la présence militaire à la frontière entre les deux pays, où il a fait ériger un mur». Selon El Diario Libre, cela porte à plus de 215 000 le nombre total d'Haïtiens renvoyés dans leur pays par les autorités dominicaines en 2025. Et le quotidien illustre cette politique avec une photo, celle d'un convoi de camions de la Direction générale de la migration dominicaine : 3 camions qui se suivent, pareils à des prisons sur roues. À l'intérieur, on perçoit des Haïtiens menés à la frontière.   Les violences sexuelles comme arme de guerre en Haïti   En Haïti, plusieurs ONG et institutions internationales ont tiré la sonnette d'alarme sur les conditions de vie des jeunes filles et des femmes dans le pays. Depuis l'assassinat du président Jovenel Moïse en 2021, une grande partie du pays est sous l'emprise de gangs armés qui utilisent le viol et les violences sexuelles comme arme de guerre. Nemo Lecoq-Jammes s'est entretenue avec Diana Manilla Arroyo, cheffe de mission de l'ONG Médecins sans Frontières à Haïti. Elle supervise la clinique Pramem à Port-au-Prince, une clinique gynécologique spécialisée dans l'accueil des filles et des femmes victimes de violences sexuelles.     Le feuilleton du redécoupage électoral au Texas se poursuit  En fin de semaine dernière, des élus démocrates de la Chambre des représentants texane avaient quitté l'État. Ils voulaient empêcher le vote d'un redécoupage de la carte électorale qui pourrait faire basculer cinq circonscriptions démocrates en faveur des républicains.  Et le feuilleton s'accentue, puisque les démocrates commencent à évoquer un redécoupage de leurs propres États. Pour Ken Martin, président du Comité national démocrate, le parti doit changer de stratégie. «Ce n'est plus le Parti démocrate de votre grand-père qui apportait un stylo pour se battre face à un couteau. C'est un nouveau parti démocrate, couteau contre couteau. Et nous allons combattre le feu par le feu», a-t-il déclaré lors d'une conférence de presse. Selon la chaîne de télé NBC, le gouverneur californien Gavin Newsom envisage un référendum cet automne. Sa proposition de redécoupage lui permettrait de récupérer 5 sièges républicains. Pour Politico, Gavin Newsom surfe sur la volonté des militants de voir les démocrates s'opposer sérieusement aux Républicains. Le média politique américain voit aussi dans cette prise de position de Newsom une tribune qui pourrait être favorable, avant sa probable candidature à la présidentielle américaine de 2028.     Tensions diplomatiques entre la Colombie et le Pérou Les tensions resurgissent autour de l'occupation des îles de Santa Rosa, situées au milieu du fleuve Amazone. Elles sont disputées depuis des années, et avaient même entraîné un conflit armé entre les deux pays dans les années 1930. La souveraineté du territoire est revendiquée par le Pérou, qui a récemment intégré ces îles dans son district fédéral. Mais pour le président colombien, Gustavo Petro, le gouvernement péruvien s'est emparé de territoires appartenant à la Colombie. Une déclaration qui n'a pas plu aux Péruviens. Pour le quotidien El Comercio, Gustavo Petro a créé un conflit diplomatique «pour cacher la crise qui touche son gouvernement». De son côté, le quotidien colombien El Tiempo évoque des changements du cours de l'Amazone. De nouvelles îles sont apparues au gré des mouvements du fleuve. Et selon le quotidien, cela devrait ouvrir des discussions diplomatiques sur la question de l'occupation. Mais, pour El Tiempo, ces discussions doivent se tenir loin des micros et des réseaux sociaux.     Les Argentins se passionnent pour leurs fonds marins  Depuis la semaine dernière, des centaines de milliers d'Argentins sont suspendus à la retransmission, en direct, des images d'un robot sous-marin. Dans cet épisode je discute avec Florian ROGER le directeur de l'EHPAD la Mélod'hier à Coubert (77). Il s'agit d'un EHPAD familial car Florian dirige l'EHPAD ouvert par son grand-père.Florian nous explique sa vision du rôle des EHPAD mais surtout le modèle qu'il a mis en place pour favoriser le bien-être des résidents, ouvrir un centre de santé dans un désert médical et surtout construire un modèle réduisant les coûts pour l'assurance maladie.Le principe est très simple, il faut réduire l'iatrogénie médicamenteuse est les hospitalisations inutiles. Pour cela Florian a embauché un médecin présent 6j/7 (quelques heures par jour suffisent) et une dizaine de thérapeutes (sophrologue, kinésiologue, phytothérapeute, ...). Les résidents bénéficient donc d'un accompagnement spécifique grâce à la présence et la réactivité d'une équipe très pluridisciplinaire.Le résultat de cette médecine intégrative est de trouver des résidents qui vont mieux et de réduire les coûts liés aux hospitalisations. This dual-licensing approach creates sustainable economics while building a strong community foundation. Rethink pricing to align with customer value creation: ZITADEL is moving away from per-user pricing because, as Florian explains, "we are the system that makes users useful. So if we hinder our customers on creating users in the first place, it kind of defeats the whole idea." Instead, they're shifting to capability-based pricing where customers pay for specific features like compliance notifications rather than user seats. This removes friction from customer growth and better aligns pricing with actual value delivered. Focus marketing efforts on developers, not just buyers: ZITADEL discovered that an 80/20 split between developer-focused and buyer-focused marketing works best. Florian notes that "targeting the developer ultimately leads to us being in the debate when somebody procures a system like ours." Developers do the initial evaluation and recommendation, so winning them over is crucial for getting into procurement discussions with buyers. Leverage geographic arbitrage strategically: ZITADEL operates across three regions - Europe for core engineering (quality engineers at $100-250K vs $250-500K in Bay Area), US for go-to-market, and Argentina for customer success and sales engineering. This approach optimizes for both cost efficiency and timezone coverage while maintaining quality across all functions. Adapt messaging for cultural differences: Moving from Switzerland to the US taught Florian that "in US marketing, things get overinflated quite severely, but the buyer knows that and automatically deducts some of it." Europeans tend to under-market solid products, while US buyers expect and discount for marketing inflation.
