Entidades ligadas à agricultura, especialmente os produtores de leite, emitiram um comunicado conjunto manifestando profunda preocupação com o agravamento da crise que atinge o setor leiteiro brasileiro. Segundo as entidades, o país enfrenta um cenário de excesso de oferta de leite, resultado de uma produção nacional recorde — impulsionada por boas condições climáticas e aumento da produtividade — somado ao crescimento das importações de leite em pó e muçarela, principalmente do Uruguai e da Argentina. Essa combinação tem provocado forte pressão sobre os preços, comprometendo a rentabilidade das indústrias e dos produtores rurais. Para evitar um colapso na cadeia produtiva, o grupo pede ações urgentes e coordenadas do Governo Federal e dos governos estaduais, a fim de garantir a sobrevivência dos produtores e a sustentabilidade do setor. A Federação dos Trabalhadores na Agricultura do Estado de Santa Catarina (Fetaesc) participou, na quinta-feira (6), da Reunião da Câmara Setorial do Leite, promovida pela Secretaria de Estado da Agricultura e Pecuária (SAPE) e pelo Conselho Estadual de Desenvolvimento Rural (Cederural). Durante o encontro, foram debatidas demandas prioritárias dos produtores catarinenses, entre elas: • Isenção tributária para pequenos produtores; • Programa emergencial de compra institucional; • Incentivos ao cooperativismo e à assistência técnica; • Campanhas de valorização do leite catarinense. A crise no setor também será tema de audiência pública na Assembleia Legislativa de Santa Catarina (Alesc), marcada para quarta-feira (12), às 18h30, no Auditório Deputada Antonieta de Barros, no Palácio Barriga Verde, em Florianópolis. A iniciativa é do deputado Altair Silva (PP), presidente da Comissão de Agricultura e Desenvolvimento Rural. Em entrevista ao programa Cruz de Malta Notícias nesta sexta-feira (7), o presidente da Fetaesc, José Walter Dresch, destacou que a situação exige respostas rápidas e concretas do poder público.
