Hour 1 Jerry started the show with Boomer, joined by Gio later. Boomer raised questions about attending Aly's wedding and a Florida trip. Jerry's constant exclusion was discussed, though he denied being upset, especially about not being left out of the Pebble Beach trip. They then spoke to Aly about her wedding. Jerry highlighted differences in California wedding customs (no cash gifts, no suits). They discussed Anthony Volpe's hitting but fielding struggles, with Boomer suggesting time off. Jerry wanted Paul Goldschmidt to improve at first base. The Mets' heart of the order struggled in a 7-1 loss. After a chair swap, Gio reviewed what he missed due to car issues. A caller confirmed Gio's theory about smaller men wanting to fight him. Hour 2 Gio discusses a comet theory and a controversial Sydney Sweeney ad. The hosts dismiss the Nazi propaganda claims. Jerry gives an update. They discuss "Big Intern's" departure and future interns. Cody Bellinger's homer led the Yankees to a win. The Padres beat the Mets. Jose Iglesias had a good game. Juan Soto left with an injury but isn't concerned. A dildo appeared at a WNBA game. Trey Hendrickson ended his holdout. Finally, Boomer and Gio advise a caller on his first golf outing. Hour 3 Gio is surprised Mets fans want Luis Robert Jr., while Boomer and Gio agree the Mets can't give up on Mark Vientos despite his struggles. Boomer is intrigued by trading for Robert Jr. if it doesn't cost Vientos, and wants to see the Mets add pitchers. He believes the Mets will eventually have to move on from one of the young infielders. Is Steven Kwan a better target? Gio wonders why Rob Manfred was in the Phillies clubhouse. Jerry provides an update, but first, Boomer asks which Mets third baseman would be easiest to trade: Ronny Mauricio, Brett Baty, or Mark Vientos? Gio says Baty, Jerry says Vientos. Gio will not be happy if the Mets trade Mauricio or Vientos. The Mets lost their final late-night game. Juan Soto's foot X-rays were negative. Gio observed something new about Dave Sims. Anthony Volpe's bat contributed to a win, but his glove did not. Getting traded must be difficult. Boomer thinks the NBA could expand into Europe. In the final segment, Gio shares an update on trying to go to Streamsong the weekend of NFL Week 1. They could do the show from the resort on Monday, but not Tuesday. The alternate who would go if Boomer and Gio can't calls in, encouraging them to make the trip. Hour 4 Boomer and Gio discuss Giants and Jets camp, with the show at Giants camp tomorrow. They also cover NFL expectations, Aaron Glenn, and a Streamsong trip. Jerry provides an update, and Boomer sets Mets and Yankees trade deadline over/unders. Upcoming interviews include Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, Brian Daboll, Dexter Lawrence, and Jevon Holland. The Yankees beat the Rays, and Pete Alonso's reaction might have led to Huascar Brazoban's demotion. Luis Gil returns Sunday. The Mets lost badly. Justin Fields is back at Jets practice. Aaron Glenn is improving the Jets. The Moment of the Day: An object on the court. They discuss NL playoff threats, believing the Padres are dangerous but not the Brewers, and Gio gets angry at fans complaining despite championships.

At long last, Ichiro becomes the first ever Asian player in the Hall of Fame, so of course we have to talk about what that means to us, and how much MLB has changed since his tenure began. Then, a quick overview of the All-Star Game. The NL won this round, but Ohtani has lost Best Dressed...again. Onto the hot stove, Dane Dunning and Stuart Fairchild are the first Asians to move, but some big rumors have us refreshing our feeds until the deadline.Position player news starts with Kim Ha Seong back on the IL, but Bo Bichette and Steven Kwan make big offensive contributions. In pitching, Bryan Woo reaches a legendary record, Brennan Bernadino is has ZERO earned runs in over 11 IP in July, Shota Imanaga gets hung out to dry by his manager, and Kumar Rocker is finding his stride. Lastly, Ohtani shows us that vintage TWP action against the Twins, continues to rake with 6 homers since the break, and is moonlighting as a children's book author.Bryan Woo interview with International Examiner: https://iexaminer.org/seattle-mariners-starting-pitcher-bryan-woo-speaks-on-race-identity-and-being-a-role-model/

We are all bombarded with quick-fix “solutions” whether it is from a doctor, dermatologist or an influencer online, and it's no wonder it feels confusing. One person is recommending a powder. Another is telling you to take ten different herbs. Then someone else is claiming you have to do a parasite cleanse before you can heal anything else. It's a lot. And it's really important to understand how these different cleanses, detoxes, and fads actually work (or don't work) so that you can make the most aligned and intentional choices for your body or your child's.So let's take a closer look at some of the most common tools people are talking about or being told to use. Because I want to walk you through exactly why they're not included in any of our formulas at ōNLē - and how that decision was made with deep, thoughtful intention. These aren't ingredients we overlooked. They're ingredients we intentionally chose not to include, because of what we now understand about how they interact with the body. When we know better, we can choose better. And I want you to have that knowledge so you can feel grounded and confident in the choices you make for your body, and for your family. Thanks for listening!    What was moving along as an NL beatdown of the AL in the All Star Game turned into an all time classic... and the Royals players were right in the middle of all of it.  Both good and bad.  It ended with a wild "Swing-off" derby contest that was epic and fun.  It also featured an incredible tv broadcast with live interviews, a tribute to Hank Aaron and they should start passing out the Emmy awards right now.  The best of the night... Clayton Kershaw pitching while talking with announcers.  Fabulous entertainment.    As the Open Championship begins, Scottie Scheffler is grabbing headlines for questioning what the point is of working so hard to be good at golf and go through all he does to stay there.  You've never heard an athlete talk like this.    Randy Moss is back at ESPN after his battle with cancer and has some strong words for Tyreek Hill.  Shaq fires huge shots at Robert Griffin III about a WNBA player.    In DC, the Senate advances a $9 billion gov cut that will defund NPR and PBS.  Adam Schiff has legal woes over mortgage documents he may have fudged.  Missouri Congressman Mark Alford releases a statement about the Epstein files and GM is going all in on gas powered vehicles.

2025's edition of the Mid-Summer Classic turned out to be a first of its kind on Tuesday night. At the center of it was a player who is no stranger to the dramatic. The NL jumped out to a 6-0 lead heading into the seventh inning, but the AL came storming back. The game remained tied at the end of nine innings. The result turned out to be the first ever home run swing-off. Each team had three batters with three swings each. Whoever hit the most home runs was to be declared the winner. Down two home runs, the Phillies Kyle Schwarber hit a hat-trick of home runs to give the NL the win. Schwarber was named the MVP. Jake and Jordan talk about the electric finish to the night. The game's end was not the only highlight of the night. MLB showed out in style in the ATL, including a red carpet entrance earlier in the day. Three home runs, before the swing-off, Kershaw mic'd up while pitching, the ABS challenge system being used, and Misiorowski entering in the eighth are just a few of the many standout moments from the game. Jake and Jordan discuss everything that happened at Truist Park.Tuesday night was not the only night of drama this week. Monday night's Home Run Derby lived up to its billing, but the winner was not who everyone expected. The man who leads MLB in home runs, but was not the favorite in the Derby, came away with the win. Cal Raleigh put on a show after barely making it out of the first round. It was a family affair with Raleigh's brother catching and his dad pitching. Jake and Jordan both did not pick 'The Big Dumper' to win, but they discuss his impressive Home Run Derby performance. From Truist Park, get the immediate All-Star Game reaction from the guys on this episode of Baseball Bar-B-Cast. (1:44) - The Opener: NL wins All-Star Game on swing-off(16:17) - All-Star Game recap(23:16) - What were other memorable moments from the game?(28:43) - 2025 Home Run Derby recap(42:31) - Cal Raleigh's impressive derby performance Subscribe to Baseball Bar-B-Cast on your favorite podcast app:
