SCS28 – Yes in Lititz PA, 2023 In this Special Concert Series episode of Progressive Palaver Paul and Ken share their experiences seeing Yes in the dress rehearsal for their The Classic Tales of Yes Tour. The show was, as usual, performed at Mickey's Black Box in Lititz, PA. Friend of the Palaver Ken Fuller has previously described the experience at MBB and Paul and Ken's descriptions match perfectly. This show seems to find Yes in a more comfortable, dare I say stable, place as the settle into a traditional five-piece with new music under their belt. The highlight of this episode, however, has to be ken's description of his coming-in-hot arrival at the show. It's a classic Palaver moment! EP 28 - I’m headed to America’s coolest small town, Lititz, PA with my friend and co-host Amanda. We discover a great burger doesn’t have to be fancy and can come from a winnebago of all places. Plus we explore quite a few unique gift shops, a butcher, and a quaint little bakery with a fantastic London Fog. Forgive us our holiday haze as we re-cap our lovely pre-Christmas shopping day and what the new year holds for us in a single word. This episode's signature cocktail is the Mistletoe Kiss (http://www.smells-like-home.com/2018/11/the-mistletoe-kiss/) To make yours you will need: 6 oz Vodka 1 oz Lemon Juice 2 oz Rosemary Simple Syrup (boil 1/2 cup sugar with 1/2 cup water until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and add a sprig of rosemary. Seep for 15 minutes and remove rosemary. Cool completely.) Sparkling Water (we used Topo Chico) Handful of frozen cranberries and rosemary sprigs for garnish Mix all ingredients except sparking water and garnishes until well combined. Pour over ice and top with Sparkling water of your choice. For an especially festive cocktail add frozen cranberries an a sprig of rosemary to each glass. Serves 2 to 3 friends so bring them along. In an on-the-road Table Read Podcast episode from December 2013, Dennis is joined in Lititz PA by the incomparable Brian Belge, the incomparable David Donovan, and the incomparable Smith Collins, comparatively speaking, for a discussion of actors, acting, improvisation, auditions, personal experiences, and previous events produced and participated in by these guys. Sorry, there was no read this time, and we blame Dave, as is usual when blame is called for, because he had to go home early.
