Best of all, you will connect with your Celtic heritage. Please tell one friend about this podcast. Word of mouth is the absolute best way to support any creative endeavor. Here's something worth knowing. Clean energy is now the cheapest source of new electricity in most of the world. Solar. Wind. Battery storage. The technology works. The prices are down. There is no good reason to keep burning fossil fuels except one: money. Fossil fuel companies spend millions lobbying politicians to block clean energy policy. That investment pays off for them. It does not pay off for the rest of us. We get higher energy costs, dirtier air, and a planet that keeps warming. So here's what you can do. Contact your elected representatives. Tell them you want clean energy policies that put people first. Not corporate profits. Your voice matters. Use it. Promote Celtic culture through music at http://celticmusicpodcast.com/. Jennifer Van Boxel emailed: "Mark, I just finished listening to episode #749, Celtic Protest Songs, and I want to thank you for using your specialized platform to say things that really need to be said these days. Thank you for taking the financial hit to bring those songs to us. I am already a Patreon, and I had been debating whether or not to renew my year subscription when it runs out in a couple months. This episode has persuaded me to continue to monetarily support this podcast. I also appreciate the Pride Month specials you've done in the past, emphasizing that Celtic music is a space for everyone." Shel O'Toole commented on Patreon: "Good for you Marc, it's important to call out hate and bigotry when we see it. Governments like to dehumanise those they either don't understand or choose to see as an enemy. That way they can go to war without feeling any conscience about killing other people. I believe love is the most powerful universal force and it's love that should be promoted, not fear and hatred." Frank Higgins replied to my email about How do you celebrate Celtic culture through music?: "My wife plays at a session at a pub every week. We've also gone to ireland twice with Kevin Burke on a music tour with a group of people."

What's up, Theology Nerds! So I had my buddy Matt Novenson on to talk about what's happening on the cutting edge of New Testament research these days, and let me tell you, it's way broader than you might think. We covered five major areas where scholars are doing really fascinating work: first, bringing Jewish studies into conversation with the New Testament (like Matthew Thiessen's work on how Jesus actually dissolves ritual impurity rather than abolishing purity systems); second, looking at the broader ancient Mediterranean world beyond just "Jewish vs. Greco-Roman" contexts (Heidi Wendt's brilliant stuff on Paul as a "freelance religious expert" competing for influence); third, studying how the Bible has been interpreted not just in academic commentaries but in art, music, and everyday life (Lisa Marie Bowens' archival work on African American readings of Paul is mind-blowing); fourth, examining how biblical themes have unconsciously shaped modern cultural discourses like immigration policy (Yii-Jan Lin's work on how Revelation's New Jerusalem imagery shows up in American immigration law is wild); and finally, reconnecting New Testament studies with theology through careful hermeneutics (David Lincicum does this really well, tracing how early Christians read Paul reading Jewish scripture). The whole conversation was both entertaining for folks just interested in where the field is heading and super practical for anyone thinking about graduate school - Matt even gave great advice about just cold-emailing scholars because, surprise, most of them are normal people who actually like talking about ideas! Dr. Matthew Novenson is a distinguished New Testament scholar now teaching at Princeton Theological Seminary. His scholarship focuses on Paul's letters, early Judaism, and early Christianity. TheHide.TV Everyday Sniper Podcast: Paul Craddock Interview I get to geek out a bit, I am interviewing Paul Craddock today. Ever since the Valkyrie I have been fanboying window shopping Craddock Precision ARs. Since was planning a 6 ARC project, I wanted to pair that 6 ARC bolt gun with a 6 ARC gas gun to see the pipeline. What's the accuracy, what the ranges, how does it perform on command like a competition rifle ? The Terminus Zeus in 6 ARC is here, the Zermatt Matterhorn is here, now to pair with a gas gun. The interview Paul is a great background. We learn the history of Craddock Precision, Paul's gun building philosophy. How he approaches the AR15, AR10 which might be different from the other guys. A great example is roughly 15 different gas lengths. I want to thank Nick for putting us together, this conversation flowed. It moved in a nice logical direction touching on the ins and outs of a gas gun. From Valkyrie to ARC, to larger Frame ARs, we touch on it all. As always, thanks for listening, thanks for sharing, thanks for being a part of the Everyday Sniper podcast.

The Pivot Podcast with Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor and Channing Crowder is on location in Dallas, Texas bringing you a conversation covering all the biggest headlines in sports, stories around the country and sharing our own experiences and outlooks getting through each day. Ryan, Channing, and Fred have lots to discuss ahead of the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight on Netflix, from the weigh-in to the main event, the guys break down why this fight is such a cultural moment, blending two generations in a genius way. Jake Paul's leap from influencer to fighter and his faceoff with the iconic Mike Tyson is bold—will Jake handle the heat of Iron Mike's legendary power, especially after that face-off slap? And let's not forget, no matter his age, Tyson is still Tyson, and one uppercut could end it all. But the guys don't just chop it up about tonight's main event—there's a ton of sports news for them to cover in this 3-Man Show, brought to you in partnership with Fanatics. Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is expected to be one of the top picks in the 2025 NFL draft, but his dad and head coach, Deion Sanders, revealed he plans to play a hand in ensuring his son lands in the right situation to shine. In a recent appearance on Speak, Coach Prime shared his intentions to get involved behind the scenes, sparking a spirited discussion from the guys. They weigh in on Deion's parenting style, the balance of talent and opportunity, and the ever-present debate around nepotism in sports. Speaking of legacy, Ryan, Fred, and Channing draw parallels to LeBron James and his son Bronny's journey navigating the NBA and G-League. The pressure of living up to a legendary name and the spotlight that comes with it sparks a deeper discussion about what it really takes to succeed in professional sports. They keep it real about the fact that, at the end of the day, talent is the ultimate decider—and Bronny still has to prove himself ready to compete at the highest level. So where does he go from here? The guys also touch on the aftermath of the recent election. While they don't dive into the nitty-gritty of politics, they reflect on how they plan to make an impact in their communities and share lessons learned through their own journeys. From navigating the crazy road called life to inspiring the next generation, their insights go beyond sports. They also head back to one of their favorite places: the locker room. How has it evolved? How has social media changed the game? And what do they miss most about the brotherhood of their playing days? They share untold stories and dig into the importance of loyalty, trust, and community—both in and out of the game.

In less than 20 minutes a week, we'll introduce you to an expert or business owner with deep experience in what they do. Grow you, grow your team, grow a small business. Welcome to the "Grow a Small Business" podcast with your host, Michael Denehey. In this episode, Michael interviews Paul Ross from Performance by Design, based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. In this episode of the Grow a small business podcast, Paul Ross discusses the critical role of leadership, trust, and vulnerability in building successful teams, drawing from his extensive experience in sports and business. Additionally, host Michael introduces transformative programs aimed at small business owners, including an 80-day Business Transformation program and the Ultimate Recruitment Toolkit, designed to empower managers with essential tools and strategies for team optimization and recruitment excellence. Key Takeaways for Small Business Owners: Leadership Impact: Paul emphasised the significant impact leaders have on shaping organisational culture. Their behaviours set the tone for the entire team, influencing productivity and morale. Culture Code: Defining clear behaviours aligned with organisational values is essential for creating a strong culture. It's not enough to simply state values; they must be actively lived and systemized throughout the organisation. Trust as Action: Trust is built through consistent actions over time. Paul likened it to depositing into a Trust Bank; leaders who consistently demonstrate trustworthiness fill their Trust Banks, fostering stronger relationships and collaboration. Our hero crafts outstanding reviews following the experience of listening to our special guests. Are you the one we've been waiting for? Relationship Building: Building strong relationships within the team fosters trust and enhances collaboration. Paul encouraged leaders to actively engage with team members, getting to know them beyond work-related matters. Vulnerability: Authenticity and openness contribute to building trust and stronger connections within the team. Leaders should be themselves and encourage others to do the same, fostering a culture of honesty and support. Continuous Feedback: Regular, constructive feedback is crucial for personal and organisational growth. Paul emphasised the importance of incorporating feedback into daily interactions rather than waiting for formal reviews. Do you have 2 minutes every Friday? Sign up to the Weekly Leadership Email.
