In this conversation, Melissa opens up about her journey with long COVID, a transformative experience that has reshaped her identity as a person, creative, dancer, and storyteller. She reflects on how the illness has woven itself into the fabric of her life, and how it brought up fear, loss, grief, anger... and also, its own kind of medicine. About Melissa Before the pandemic, Melissa Mansfield was a marketing professional who spent her off hours producing her passion project - a video series about traveling the world through dance, in which she lived abroad learning the iconic dances of places like Havana and Buenos Aires. In 2022, after a two-year hiatus, she traveled to South America to produce a new season, focusing on Cali, Colombia - the “Salsa Capital of the World”. Ten days into her trip, she contracted covid for the first time. This began a two-year journey of illness, loss, grief and - ultimately - recovery. She is now navigating a new way of being a traveler, storyteller and dancer - forever changed by her long covid experience. Follow her on Instagram About me Hello, I'm Pascale! She shares how death and divorce drastically changed her life and led her to go on a journey of self-discovery and reinvention. We'll also hear from 43 year young Melissa Mansfield. Her love of travel and dance took her on a post-divorce journey through Latin America and helped heal in ways only dance can do. She currently lives in the UK and recently returned to her home town to look after her Dad following a cancer diagnosis. Around the same time she left her corporate life to setup her own Coaching business. She Hit Refresh immediately struck a chord with her as 3 years prior, Christina hit her own refresh after the blueprint of her life irrevocably changed. She quit her corporate job of 10 years, bought a backpack and set out to travel solo for a year.
