Pop Art Painter Jamie Roxx (www.JamieRoxx.us) welcomes Symetria, (Heavy Metal) to the Show! www.symetriamusic.com Welcome to Symetria. A metal band born in 2016 of musicians coming together to write what they've been waiting to hear. Twin shredders Kevin Cust and James Soto weave a sonic tapestry of complex and intertwined mastery while vocalist Vince Santonastaso grabs your attention and pulls you into the lyrics. Bassist Fernando Carrera brings the rumble and low end boom from the depths below and Blair Smith rages behind the drums to drive the sound with a thunderstorm's intensity and power that destroys everything in its path. Beautiful, humble, balanced, and intelligent, a perfect dream, is the definition pulled straight from the urban dictionary and translates clearly to what the band puts forth from the first note to the last. Symetria recorded their debut album in early 2017 and released it on September 29th. They immediately went all out and took the stage with Overkill and the rest of the Metal Alliance Tour the next day. Media Inquiries: Curtain Call Records www.curtaincallrecords.com

Legendary producer, guitarist and vocalist Erik Rutan guests this week. Hate Eternal just unleashed their new album Infernus and it plays like a death metal guidebook, so we pick his brain about a wide range of topics: producing bands, the changing metal scene, whether he would ever rejoin Morbid Angel, how he hurt his hand on the Metal Alliance Tour and what the hell happened to that tour when it shit the bed mid-run. Doc Coyle comes back to "Reject the Sickness." This week's topic: Godless' Tweet about loving Meshuggah being the hipster way to say people love Fear Factory. What kind of influence did FF have and why do people love to hate on them so much while giving Meshuggah so much credit for their influence? Doc does his best to set us straight. Ben Falgoust, front-man for the almighty Goatwhore, guests this week after the band's appearance on the Metal Alliance Tour stop in Austin. We talk about the NOLA metal scene, his experience after his debilitating van wreck, Goatwhore's new album and his new favorite band Vallenfyre; we even get to see the new album artwork before anyone else does. Chuck and Godless also discuss the announcement of a crowdfunded metal festival to be hosted in South Texas and why it may be a terrible idea, and how a promoter could help to ensure a successful fest in Texas (and the world, for that matter). Godless also reminds you to put your cell phone away at live shows after he smashed a few in the Dillinger Escape Plan pit on Saturday night. Songs:Vallenfyre - "Scabs"Agalloch - "Celestial Effigy"
