American heavy metal icons, ARMORED SAINT, are back with their anticipated new full-length, Emotion Factory Reset, set for release on May 22nd through Metal Blade Records.Produced, as were the previous four albums, by bassist Joey Vera and mixed by Jay Ruston (Anthrax, Stone Sour) the record finds the quintet challenging themselves. Songs like “Close To The Bone,” “Hit A Moonshot,” and “Every Man-Any Man” The collaborative nature of Emotion Factory Reset led to the album title, a phrase from Phil Sandoval. “To me, ‘Emotion Factory Reset' means to reset yourself back to clarity. Take a pause and breathe before you respond or react. Dream Beard Teams Up with Dropout Kings for Powerful New Single “HIGH LIFE” via Judge & Jury RecordsFollowing the tragic passing of Adam Ramey, Dropout King's lead vocalist, the loss sent shock waves through fans, collaborators, and the music community at large. For Dream Beard, the loss hit especially close to home, not only as a fan and collaborator, but as someone who had shared a real moment with Ramey long before this track came to life. Years earlier, Dream Beard was invited by Memphis May Fire to attend ShipRocked. During a day off, he noticed people were smoking cigars and wanted to do the same, so he went on an adventure seeking one out. As he wandered past a row of private villas, he spotted a man sitting on a porch enjoying one. Dream Beard asked where he could find a cigar, and the man invited him into his bungalow to share his own. That man was Adam Ramey. Feeling that we had all lost our sense of humanity, Paul McCoy originally wrote the song in 2006 about the inconceivable tragedies of this world and, as he reflects now, the need for a song like this never truly went away. Almost 20 years later, this song is more relevant than ever.The song is filled with candid lyrics, such as “What kind of world do we live in? // where love is divided by hate?” Heart-wrenching verses build up to explosive choruses, leaving behind a message that is certain to be remembered.“'World So Cold' is a song I wrote about my view of the world. I wrote this song almost 20 years ago about how messed up the world seemed to me. I can honestly say that I don't feel like it's gotten any better over the last 20 years. I remember sitting in the lounge of the music studio messing around with an acoustic guitar while the TV was on in the background. I saw a news story about another person on a shooting rampage, and in that moment, I just started singing the melody that became 'World So Cold'. I realized that all humans can become a byproduct of their environments. Pipeman chats with Coosh (vocals) and Pete Rizzi (bass) from New Jersey's red hot heavy rock/metal band WHO ON EARTH who will be releasing their new album, It Takes The Village, on May 8thCurrent Singles: VigilanceFor Fans Of: Iron Maiden, Dio, Queensryche, Ozzy, Ghost, ClutchWho On Earth cut its teeth through relentless gigging across the New York tri-state area, with founding members Coosh and Pete previously tearing up stages as MadHaus. During 2020, the longtime collaborators shifted focus from covers to original material, quickly writing ten songs and entering Sonic Stomp Studio with producer Mike Orlando (Category 7, Adrenaline Mob). Joined by drummer Joe D'Aqui, the group crafted a heavy, story-driven sound rooted in influences like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Alice in Chains, and Tool. Despite pandemic delays, the sessions yielded their debut full-length album Blame', released in October 2022.Following the addition of guitarists Bruce Gatewood and Johnny James Barone, the band gained traction with a heavier reimagining of Toto's “Hold the Line,” now their most-streamed track. Lineup changes continued with drummer Howie Fallon joining in 2024, bringing renewed chemistry and power, though tragedy struck later that year with the passing of Gatewood. In late 2024, Jimmy Kocha joined, filling the role of co-lead guitarist, solidifying the lineup that is currently in full force today. Honoring his legacy, the band pushed forward, releasing the Smoke & Mirrors EP in March 2025—a sharp, socially reflective six-song release.
