We are both personal development junkies and spend many hours every week sharing our ideas and reading about new things. This episode is great for you who want to learn about our latest perspective. We share lots of personal stories, talk about how it applies in our lives, and where we have learned it from. -- In the first topic, we talk about how networking is a misunderstood term. What the differences are between networking wide and networking deep. How Erik started by networking very wide in his teenage years and how that has given a foundation for deep relationships today. It started with Erik asking himself "How to network online?" and "How to find inspiring friends?" In the second topic, we talk about what the easiest way to start networking online is. How you can use the social media traffic of big accounts to get yourself out there and find more people to inspire and that can be inspired by you. There are some tricks that surprisingly few are using that we will teach you. In the third topic, we are building networking machines that network for us. Once again we are utilizing social media but this time we teach you how to use your own account to find people with similar interests and make them come to you - a crucial part of how to network online and how to find inspiring friends. In the fourth and final topic, we dive into what might be the most important part. How to write a perfect email that makes someone wants to hire you, be your mentor, or even your business partner. As you know, we're not a fan of Nazis. In part two of our (what will very likely be ongoing) series on badass Nazi-fighting queer anti-fascists we discuss the genderqueer, surrealist artist and Nazi resistance fighter Claude Cahun! Teen love to stepsisters to lifelong partners in art and resistance? Lovers literally saving each others lives more than once? Taking a break from sunbathing and walking their cat on a leash in middle age to spread anti-fascist propaganda and lower morale among the invading German forces? Gender is a performance, what? Classic Claude Cahun (and Marcel Moore)! So say it with us again, "Nazi punks, fuck off" this time with surrealism. Adam goofed on editing, so here's the re-upload of last Friday's episode. Enjoy! We're back! This week, Cragon rants about entitled & pedantic SMG fanboys, we talk about the Tesla Semi and where we predict the company is headed, and we spend our parents' (imaginary) money picking the best enthusiast cars for new drivers. Adam, much to his surprise, wins Online Find of the Week with a cheap Radwood-era German, and we answer our listener question.Don't forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram, and please rate and review the show on iTunes! We're not a fan of nazis around these parts, and not just for the obvious reasons. Did you know that one of the most iconic images of them burning books is from when they burned the library of a gay, Jewish, communist sexologist well known for his research on sexuality and gender, including trans identity? Until this episode, we didn't either! In this first part of a two part series (so far!), we dive into the fascinating life of Doctor Magnus Hirschfeld, the "Einstein of sex." His approach to sexuality, gender, and race was decades ahead of the likes of Alfred Kinsey and Harry Benjamin, and who knows were society would be had his research not been destroyed. So come join us as we say, "Nazi punks, fuck off!" Choosing your niche can often feel like an overwhelming process… But when you realize where nine of the biggest names in Internet marketing started, you will see that choosing your first niche can be easy! The goal of this videos to help inspire you to start taking action… If you aren't already! I have covered my past in great detail on this channel… How I got started, when I made my first money, the different niches I've chosen that didn't work out... I do not recommend or endorse any of these individuals… And I don't recommend you get on their email lists… Unsubscribe from these individuals for sure! They will distract you from your ultimate goal of creating more than you consume because their business model is designed around keeping you stuck in consuming mode. If you haven't seen the videos about my past, check out this "how to choose your niche with the fiure, ready, aim method" video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3p1nwsIJScI But really, I wanted you to see that I'm not an anomaly starting with these obscure niches… And trying many things before ultimately finding my true success online. Many of the great Internet marketers started in a very similar fashion... Whether they were solving their own problem, using the "scratch your own itch" approach to choosing a niche… Eben Pagan, Mike Dillard, Joe polish all fit this mold… And you will learn their exact niches and how they got started in the video! Other marketing gurus on this list simply researched an idea they felt had an opportunity for success… And jumped right in! Russell Brunson, Frank Kern, Ryan dice all fit this model... Then there were a few who taught what they had been learning, whether it was through school or from their self-study… Jeff Walker and Pat Flynn fit this mold. All of these examples will show you how they niched down in order to stand out, which you can learn more about here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayns_MWYGMI The biggest glaring note here is that none of these individuals are relying on these original niches for their current income or lifestyle. They all evolved beyond this point, using everything they learned in these early niche marketing endeavors… To grow and adapt and reach more people and create more success. This is the same path I took… This is the same path that the dozens upon dozens of friends I've made from conferences around the world who are also successful in Internet marketing have taken... This is the proven path to success! So if you're fretting about what niche to choose so you can get started online, know that you need to simply choose a niche and begin taking action… You learn more from taking action and you will be forced to pit and adapt and evolve your approach over time, regardless of the niche you choose today.
