A dokáže odovzdať absolútnu dôveru do rúk režiséra? To všetko a omnoho viac v novej epizóde relácie Ide o nás.

Today I'm chatting with Steph, the force behind North Country Cabin Co., who has been building a Wisconsin lake cabin empire for over a decade. What started as a corporate escape plan and a podcast-inspired lightbulb moment has evolved into four distinctive lake properties and a completely reimagined life centered around what truly fills her up.From drilling wells that cost double the estimate to managing hot tub maintenance across multiple properties, Steph shares the unglamorous realities that most people don't realize about running cabins. But she also reveals how fostering over sixty dogs taught her about transformation and joy—lessons that translate beautifully to watching guests fall in love with the same lakes and landscapes that captured her heart years ago. We'll explore her journey from house-hacking duplexes to building cabins from napkin sketches, the systems that allow her to manage four properties while raising two toddlers, and why she now prioritizes energy management over time management. Plus, we dive into hot topics like cameras on lake properties, the reality of cabin expenses, and why sometimes the best business strategy is simply creating spaces you genuinely love and helping others see what you see in them.Whether you're dreaming of your first lake cabin or scaling beyond your current properties, this conversation offers both practical wisdom and a reminder that there are countless ways to build a life around what brings you joy. Instagram: @northcountrycabincoBooking Site: https://northcountrycabinco.comCozy Rock Cabin: https://staycozycabin.holidayfuture.com/listings/311027Cozy Cabin Boone: https://staycozycabin.holidayfuture.com/listings/311026Cozy Camp Sebec: https://staycozycabin.holidayfuture.com/listings/311051Cozy Rock Website: http://www.staycozycabin.comYouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_FgMwAgvORd1IwlH1nlC9g

This season has been about good and bad ideas, and we are concluding with Jon's thoughts on a journey he's been on through early American history. In his 1989 book Albion's Seed, Dr. David Hackett Fischer describes how four groups of English settlers brought utopian ideals to the New World and created the foundations of what became the United States. Jon takes us through these English "folkways" and identifies some good and bad ideas that were part of America's cultural identity and how we still see them today.

I sat down to chat with Jeff DuJardin who discusses his role as the Marquis de Mores in the TV show Elkhorn. We discuss the character's motivations, his relationship with Theodore Roosevelt, and the dynamics of the show. Jeff describes the Marquis as ambitious, loyal, and cultured. Jeff.talks about the challenges of portraying a character with a believable French accent and the research he did to understand the Marquis. The conversation also touches on the chemistry between the characters, the allure of the Wild West setting, and the writing and character development in the show. Jeff hints at the escalating tensions between the Marquis and Theodore Roosevelt in future episodes.TakeawaysThe Marquis de Mores is an ambitious, loyal, and cultured character in the TV show Elkhorn.Jeff DuJardin prepared for the role by doing research and drawing upon his own background. The Marquis and Theodore Roosevelt have a complex relationship, with tensions escalating throughout the show. The appeal of Westerns lies in the freedom and nostalgia associated with that era.Future episodes of Elkhorn promise to deliver more intense and dramatic moments between the characters.Sound Bites"The Marquis de Mores is ambitious, loyal, and cultured." "The Marquis has to think outside the box now that Theodore is here." "The Marquis and his wife Medora are like a powerful and driven couple."Chapters00:00 Introduction and Background03:01 The Intriguing Character of the Marquis de Mores06:12 The Chemistry and Allure of Elkhorn's Wild West Setting11:01 Escalating Tensions: The Marquis vs. Theodore Roosevelt31:03 Future Episodes and Conclusion
