Wednesday's Senate hearing comes amid new revelations Mueller expressed frustration to Barr about how the report's findings were being portrayed. Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaidó has called for mass street protests on Wednesday....a day after he attempted to oust President Nicolas Maduro. He had called for Venezuelans to reclaim their democracy once and for all. ...but his hoped-for split in the military never came, and a plane the U.S. claimed was standing by to take Maduro into exile never took off. Union members and labor activists are demanding higher salaries, better working conditions and respect....during May Day marches around the world. In France, police arrested more than 100 people and used tear gas after protesters started throwing stones, setting fires and smashing cars.
