77th and 85th United States Attorney General
In this episode of The ReidOut, Joy Reid analyzes Donald Trump apparently saying he will be a "day one" American dictator, whose plans for a second presidency, critics say, are right out of the playbook of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro: seek vengeance against your opponents, muzzle the press, and call off elections. Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen joins Joy with more. Plus, we cover new reporting on the almost 200-person witness list in Donald Trump's Georgia election interference case, including Mike Pence, Bill Barr, and Steve Bannon. All this and more in this edition of The ReidOut on MSNBC.
Beginning in the 1960s, stakeholders on the American Right began astro-turfing conservative student organizations in order to counter the challenges to their power from the New Left and Black Power student resistance movements. By examining the range of conservative student organizations and coalition building, Dr. Lauren Lassabe Shepherd shows how wealthy donors and conservative intellectuals trained future GOP leaders such as Karl Rove, Bill Barr, Jeff Sessions, Pat Buchanan, and others in conservative politics, providing them with tactics to consciously drive American politics and culture further to the authoritarian right and to "reclaim" American higher education. Months ago, I was asked to give a lecture at the Federalist Society's National Lawyers Convention. It was a surprising invitation for a number of reasons. First, I am not a lawyer. Second: I am not a member of the Federalist Society—the prominent conservative and libertarian legal organization. (If the name rings a bell it's probably because you've heard of it in the context of the hearings of any of the conservative justices who currently sit on the court.) Third: If you look at the people who previously gave this particular lecture—Supreme Court Justices, Attorney Generals, people like Bill Barr, Don McGahn, and John Roberts—the idea that I would be on that list seemed nuts. But I accepted. Mostly because I was being asked to give the Barbara K. Olson lecture. Olson was 45 years old, a lawyer and a political commentator at the top of her game when she boarded American Airlines flight 77 on September 11, 2001. She was flying to Los Angeles that day so she could appear on Bill Maher's show Politically Incorrect, and because she had changed her flight to have a birthday dinner with her husband, Ted. Barbara was murdered along with 3,000 other Americans that day. She managed to summon the composure, courage and clarity to call her husband twice in those horrifying moments before the plane slammed into the Pentagon. Her husband, Ted Olson, has among the most impressive resumes you'll find. But most important to me and my family: he argued in support of gay marriage in front of the Supreme Court. I had many ideas for this lecture before October 7. But after the world-transforming events of that day, I felt there was only one thing to talk about: the fight for the West. How do you make Fridays better than they already are? By listening to and learning from Marcy Wheeler. She covers much of the way things work (or don't) here in the US from her home in Limerick, Ireland. But whether she's in Michigan or Ireland, Marcy has her fingers on the news and what's happening on this side of the pond.Today, it's more debunking of the chaos caucus in the House and their almost keystone cop-like vendetta against Hunter Biden. Plus the Trump trials, both in progress and coming soon, election results, Bill Barr's complicity and a whole lot more.As usual, you might want a pen and paper handy to take notes. Marcy does it all off the top of her head. I just watch and listen in amazement....Apologies to those watching the live stream on YouTube today. We were having problems there, but the video was fine on Facebook, Twitch and even Xitter. And the audio was good too. So I'll put this one off on YouTube, and will embed the Xitter stream, should you care to watch.
Howie weighs the potential options when it comes to the cabinet for a second Trump term. Barr was a disaster, and Sessions was politically castrated. So WHO would make an okay attorney general for the president?
SERIES 2 EPISODE 64: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:44) SPECIAL COMMENT: The Biden Campaign slogan should literally be “MY OLD MAN CAN BEAT UP YOUR OLD MAN.” It is the most remarkable, unexpected, startling, counter-intuitive polling data I have ever seen: The future of democracy. The future of the prosecution of Trump. The future of the nation. The future of planetary climate. It may depend on convincing voters NOT that Joe Biden is somehow NOT TOO old but on convincing voters that he and Trump are BOTH TOO OLD. New polling shows 43 percent of Americans BELIEVE they're BOTH too old and they plan to vote as follows: Biden 61% Trump 13% In Pennsylvania it's Biden 66% Trump 11%! If they're BOTH too old – Biden wins in a landslide. Just growing the percentage IN Pennsylvania who believe they're both too old by FIVE percent would flip 110-thousand Trump votes TO BIDEN. And helpfully Trump is not only acting old, he's acting demented. In the last 48 hours he hasn't known WHERE he was, nor what YEAR it was, and even The New York Times is writing about it. Meanwhile, in a Washington courtroom, we had what one observer called a "proxy battle" for what might happen when Trump truly violates the newly-reinstated gag order. A J6 defendant freed while awaiting sentencing began to send violent, racist, homophobic, antisemitic texts to an FBI agent involved in his case, AND threatened to doxx him. The Judge had no problem cancelling his release and sending him directly to jail to await sentencing (the problem arose when he tried to resist the handcuffs and nearly took down four security officers). B-BLOCK (28:44) IN SPORTS: What if they gave a World Series and nobody watched? Texas survived the by-now traditional early departure of Max Scherzer to pull ahead of Arizona (on the road of course) in last night's 3rd Game. But the bad TV ratings and lack of national interest among baseball fans was far worse than even I had expected. In fact, they were record-setting worse. Plus the first star of the Texas franchise, Frank Howard, died yesterday. (31:50) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Boris Johnson goes into TV news, possibly for the free hairstyling. Tim Scott says it's Iowa or bust. And why are the Philadelphia Eagles advertisements appearing next to videos of lunatic Stew Peters spewing hate and giving voice to calls for violence against organizations like Catholic Charities? And why isn't the team or the NFL doing anything about it? C-BLOCK (37:50) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: October was the birthday month of one of my favorite humans of all-time. I met him only once but it was so memorable, so warm, so funny that a decade later when he died, I was stunned when I heard the news and broke into tears. Former Attorney General Bill Barr joined Rep. Crenshaw to cover some of the important legal considerations in America's efforts to defeat the Mexican drug cartels. How would a second term of the Trump Administration have dealt with the cartels? What are the costs and benefits of designating them as Foreign Terrorist Organizations? What is the U.S. capable of doing to stop a Mexican politician if we have strong evidence that they are working with the cartels? What would be the repercussions if the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act is not renewed? All this and more in our second episode in the series documenting Rep. Crenshaw's Task Force to Combat Mexican Drug Cartels. Bill Barr is the author of "One Damn Thing After Another: Memoirs of an Attorney General". He was attorney general twice under both President Trump and President George H.W. Bush.
“What ails us, as a society, is the fact that we are falling away from God,” stated former Attorney General of the United States, William Barr, at the Center for Urban Renewal & Education's annual National Policy Summit this week in Washington D.C. The 3-day event brought together some of the nation's top policy leaders with more than 60 pastors from all over the country who are part of CURE's clergy network. At the summit, these faith leaders learned about key policy issues, collaborated with fellow pastors and were equipped to take the solutions back to their churches and communities. This week on CURE America with Star Parker, we highlight some wonderful parts of the summit focused on choice in education, getting our children out of government-run, union-controlled schools and to those that reflect the values of their parents. We feature AG Barr's remarks as well as part of our panel discussion on Educational Freedom with Michael Benjamin of American Federation for Children, Francesca Fontenot, and former NFL great and CURE board member Jack Brewer. Some of our pastors also share their experiences at the summit. Educational choice is just one of the many topics we addressed at CURE's National Policy Summit and we will be bringing you more in the following weeks on issues like police reform, homelessness and abortion. Please stay tuned for more powerful presentations.

SEASON 2 EPISODE 33: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:43) SPECIAL COMMENT: The impeachment inquiry Kevin McCarthy has now unilaterally and personally declared against President Joe Biden is, in fact, illegal. The Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel – The TRUMP Administration Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel – ruled, on January 19th, 2020, that there can be no impeachment and no impeachment inquiry without… a vote. And that ruling is still on the books. Today. And Kevin McCarthy has violated it. Kevin McCarthy has broken the law. It's Kevin McCarthy's ILLEGAL IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY. Steven A. Engel, Assistant Attorney General Office of Legal Counsel. Same guy who wrote Bill Barr's Muller summary for him, wrote: “The house of representatives must expressly authorize a committee to conduct an impeachment investigation and to use compulsory process IN that investigation before the committee may compel the production of documents of testimony in support of the House's power of impeachment…the House itself must authorize an impeachment inquiry… no committee may undertake the momentous move from legislative oversight to impeachment without a delegation BY THE FULL HOUSE of such authority." Kevin McCarthy also wrote in 2019 that an impeachment inquiry without a vote is invalid. And he said it again TWELVE DAYS AGO. So any Democrat responding to this latest Republican urination on the constitution on behalf of Dementia J. Trump by NOT calling this a quote “ILLEGAL IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY” should be expelled. From the party, from office, from the country. McCarthy didn't just break the rules, he just broke Trump rules and that fact should be hung around his neck every morning like one of those floral leis you get when you arrive in Hawaii. “Hello Mr. Speaker? And how's your illegal impeachment inquiry TODAY?” And then there's the history lesson McCarthy needs to know about the last Speaker to try to make an impeachment out of nothing. Newt Gingrich impeached Bill Clinton - and lost HIS job while Clinton kept his. And then Gingrich's successor lost his job before even officially starting it. And then HIS successor wound up in prison for child rape. As an aside: Rudy Giuliani is complaining about betrayals of the real meaning of 9/11 this year: who gets to speak first at the memorial. B-Block (26:29) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: All this Rudy and Clinton and Gingrich talk got me nostalgic for a quarter century ago, when in my third month in the news business I went - in one week - from “why haven't I seen you on SportsCenter lately" to “Good Evening, I'm anchoring live coverage of the State of the Union Address.” How to succeed in political broadcasting without really trying! Today's show opens with GA Attorney General Chris Carr's 61 person indictment of Antifa domestic terrorists who tried to wage war on the police with impunity. It's nice to finally see some action being taken against this mob of organized crime that has been allowed to operate unscathed by our weaponized Department of Justice and our FBI. It time for more Constitution-loving elected representatives to fight for our country and the rule of law. Instead, another FOIA request shows there is no documentation whatsoever proving AG Merrick Garland had give US Attorney David Weiss the powers to take the Hunter Biden investigation wherever he needed to. There is not one mention at all of what Garland testified to, under oath, and has been repeating for over a year. Hunter Biden's criminal wrongdoing was first noticed by people inside the investment bank Morgan Stanley. His business activities were so unusual, the created a Power Point presentation and filed the suspicious activity reports with the Security and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and recommended Hunter for further federal investigation. Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, while trying to dodge all of the fraudulent 2020 voter activity we've been documenting, has decided to follow Colorado's lead. She is moving to unilaterally, arbitrarily disqualify Donald Trump from being placed on the Michigan ballot. She is also erroneously claiming she can do this under the 14th Amendment. Here's the massive problem we are seeing in our current judiciary. We used to have this notion of the presumption of innocence. We have now turned it around and it seems we have now embraced the presumption of guilt. This is the exact opposite of every free nation on the face of the Earth. This must be fought back with everything we have if we want to keep our country intact. Kari Lake thanked a better-late-than-never response from former AG Bill Barr about the latest ruling in Arizona regarding the flagrant disregard for following the election laws related to mail-in ballot signature verification. The law is clear and the wording was precise, yet for SoS at the time (and now Governor) Katie Hobbs invented her own counting criteria. For whatever it's worth, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) is furious with Biden's latest move to ban drilling oil across millions of acres, calling it an assault on our economy. Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) called the decision a reward for our adversaries a hurt for American families. Shivanthi Sathanandan, the vice chair of the Democrat Party in Minnesota, who virulently advocated for the dismantling of the MN Police Department, while neighborhood were burned to the ground from BLM-Antifa, was assaulted outsider her home by a pack of carjackers. Now, seeing first-hand the results of her magic-thinking, wants her attackers to be prosecuted and their city to be “taken back.” Well, I hate to say it, but this is the result of putting Leftist ideologues in charge. Finally, I spoke about what it means to have solid core of ethics and values to help keep you focused and consistent. I close with some thoughts from a real estate developer who appeared on the Larry King Show just about 30 years ago. When you hear what Donald Trump said back then and compare it to today, you know exactly where his core values are for America. He has always been about making America great and having America first policies. Take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. Toby hosts Free for All Friday, and callers are cranked up over former Attorney General Bill Barr's betrayal of President Trump. One reminds us of what Trump said at his last indictment: "They're not coming after me, they're coming after YOU!"
On Thursday's Mark Levin Show, the greatest threat to America is the Democrat Marxist movement and the Biden Administration. Americans are struggling under the Biden economy with out-of-control inflation and mortgage rates at a 20-year high, crime running rampant in major Democrat cities across America, and schools turned into indoctrination mills. The worst censorship in American history happened under Joe Biden when the U.S. Government and various departments pressured Twitter to interfere in our elections, censor scientific information, and punish political opponents. Biden has defied every immigration law on the books and our borders are wide open, and every major city in America has cartel operations smuggling in drugs and trafficking humans. Despite all of this, Bill Barr still does not know who he would vote for between Donald Trump or Joe Biden. Barr will be a footnote in history as a Benedict Arnold saboteur while we fight to save this country, which is dying and being destroyed from within by the Democrat party. Also, Biden used pseudonyms like Robert Peters and Robin Ware in letters while Vice President because he was trying to cover up something. Rep James Comer is investigating Biden's use of aliases and their ties to Hunter Biden's business activity. Access to Joe Biden was wide open for his crime family to profit from, and Biden tried to conceal it by using aliases. Later, Mark is joined by Senator Ted Cruz to discuss the Democrat plot led by Chuck Schumer to unseat Cruz from the Senate. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

The Resolution Audio Sources June 21, 2023 House Floor June 21, 2023 House Floor Clips 1:15 Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL): With access to sensitive information unavailable to most Members of Congress, and certainly not accessible to the American people, Representative SCHIFF abused his privileges, claiming to know the truth, while leaving Americans in the dark about this web of lies. These were lies so severe that they altered the course of the country forever: the lie that President Donald Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 Presidential election revealed to be completely false by numerous investigations, including the Durham report; the lie that the Steele dossier—a folder of falsified and since completely debunked collusion accusations funded by the Democratic Party—had any shred of credibility, yet Representative SCHIFF read it into the CONGRESSIONAL RECORD as fact; the lies concocted and compiled in a false memo that was used to lie to the FISA court, to precipitate domestic spying on U.S. citizen, Carter Page, violating American civil liberties. 12:20 Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): Mr. Speaker, to my Republican colleagues who introduced this resolution, I thank you. You honor me with your enmity. You flatter me with this falsehood. You, who are the authors of a big lie about the last election, must condemn the truthtellers, and I stand proudly before you. Your words tell me that I have been effective in the defense of our democracy, and I am grateful. 13:15 Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): Donald Trump is under indictment for actions that jeopardize our national security, and MCCARTHY would spend the Nation's time on petty political payback, thinking he can censure or fine Trump's opposition into submission. But I will not yield, not one inch. The cost of the Speaker's delinquency is high, but the cost to Congress of this frivolous and yet dangerous resolution may be even higher, as it represents another serious abuse of power. 14:50 Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): This resolution attacks me for initiating an investigation into the Trump campaign's solicitation and acceptance of Russian help in the 2016 election, even though the investigation was first led not by me but by a Republican chairman. 15:10 Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): It would hold that when you give internal campaign polling data to a Russian intelligence operative while Russian intelligence is helping your campaign, as Trump's campaign chairman did, that you must not call that collusion, though that is its proper name, as the country well knows. 15:30 Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): It would fine me for the costs of the critically important Mueller investigation into Trump's misconduct, even though the special counsel was appointed by Trump's own Attorney General. 16:00 Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): It would reprimand me over a flawed FISA application, as if I were its author or I were the Director of the FBI, and over flaws only discovered years later and by the inspector general, not Mr. Durham. In short, it would accuse me of omnipotence, the leader of some vast deep state conspiracy. Of course, it is nonsense. 16:50 Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): My colleagues, if there is cause for censure in this House, and there is, it should be directed at those in this body who sought to overturn a free and fair Election. 19:05 Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL): Representative SCHIFF used his position as the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee to mislead the American people by falsely claiming that there was classified evidence of Russia colluding with President Trump, which was not true. 22:15 Rep. Nick Langworthy (R-NY): SCHIFF repeatedly used the authority he was afforded in his position as chairman to lie to the American people to support his political agenda. Even after the Durham report discredited the Russia hoax, he continued to knowingly lie and peddle this false narrative. 24:45 Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY): ADAM SCHIFF has done nothing wrong. ADAM SCHIFF is a good man. ADAM SCHIFF has served this country with distinction. ADAM SCHIFF served this country well as a Federal prosecutor, fighting to keep communities safe. ADAM SCHIFF served this country well as the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, investigating people without fear or favor, including those at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue because he believes in the Constitution and his oath of office. ADAM SCHIFF served his country well as the lead impeachment manager during the first impeachment trial of the former President of the United States, prosecuting his corrupt abuse of power. Yes, ADAM SCHIFF served this country well in the aftermath of the violent insurrection. He pushed back against the big lie told by the puppet master in chief and participated as a prominent member of the January 6th Committee to defend our democracy. ADAM SCHIFF has done nothing wrong. He has worked hard to do right by the American people. The extreme MAGA Republicans have no vision, no agenda, and no plan to make life better for the American people, so we have this phony, fake, and fraudulent censure resolution. A DAM SCHIFF will not be silenced. We will not be silenced. House Democrats will not be silenced today. We will not be silenced tomorrow. We will not be silenced next week. We will not be silenced next month. We will not be silenced next year. We will not be silenced this decade. We will not be silenced this century. You will never ever silence us. We will always do what is right. We will always fight for the Constitution, fight to defend democracy, fight for freedom, expose extremism, and continue America's long, necessary, and majestic march toward a more perfect Union. 29:10 Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC): Not only did he spread falsehoods that abused his power, he went after a man, Carter Page, who was completely innocent. Inspector General Horowitz found 17 major mistakes. 31:20 Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL): What really gnaws on the majority and what really bothers them is that Mr. SCHIFF was way better than anybody on their team at debate, at leadership, at messaging, and at legal knowledge. He kicked their ass. He was better, he was more effective, and that still bothers them. 35:40 Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA): Mr. Speaker, I opposed the original version of this resolution, not to defend Mr. SCHIFF's lies, but to defend the process that exposed those lies. We must never punish speech in this House, only acts. The only way to separate truth from falsehoods or wisdom from folly is free and open debate. We must never impose excessive fines that would effectively replace the constitutional two-thirds vote for expulsion with a simple majority. This new version removes the fine and focuses instead on specific acts, most particularly the abuse of his position as Intelligence Committee chairman by implying he had access to classified information that did not exist and his placement into the CONGRESSIONAL RECORD of the Steele dossier that he knew or should have known was false. 42:35 Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT): The most important thing I can say is that I sat next to ADAM SCHIFF for years. He is a man of integrity and dignity. 49:45 Rep. Sylvia Garcia (D-TX): ADAM SCHIFF is tough. ADAM SCHIFF is smart. ADAM SCHIFF gets the job done. ADAM SCHIFF holds the powerful accountable. 56:35 Rep. André Carson (D-IN): Mr. Speaker, what I do know is that ADAM SCHIFF defended the U.S. Constitution. He led an impartial investigation which followed the facts and led to the first of two impeachments of a former President. 1:00:20 Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL): Today, we are voting on a joke of a measure to censure ADAM SCHIFF, a true public servant and patriot. I urge a strong ‘‘no'' against this resolution targeting a true American hero. 1:08:30 Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA): The only advantage to all of this is that instead of reversing what we did on the IRA to save the planet or reversing what we did to reduce the cost of prescription drugs, we are wasting time. September 26, 2019 CNN Clips 9:05 Wolf Blitzer: As you know, Mr. Chairman, you're being severely criticized by a lot of Republicans for mocking the president during your opening remarks today at the committee. Was it a mistake to make light of the situation? Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): Well, I don't think it's making light of a situation. And I certainly wouldn't want to suggest that there's anything comical about this. But I do think it's all too accurate, that this President, in his conversations with the President of Ukraine, was speaking like an organized crime boss. And the fact that these words are so suggestive that the President used of what we have seen of organized crime harkens back to me of what, for example, James Comey said when he was asked by the President if he could let this matter involving Flynn go, when Michael Cohen testified about how the President speaks in a certain code where you understand exactly what's required here. The point is that the President was using exactly that kind of language. And the President of Ukraine fully understood what he was talking about. Wolf Blitzer: Do you regret the, what you call the parody, the use of those phrases during the course of your opening statement? Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): No, I think everyone understood -- and my GOP colleagues may feign otherwise -- that when I said, suggested that it was as if the President said, "listen carefully, because I'm only going to tell you seven more times" that I was mocking the President's conduct. But make no mistake about this, what the President did is of the utmost gravity and the utmost seriousness, because it involves such a fundamental betrayal of his oath. September 26, 2019 House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Witnesses: Joseph Maguire, Acting Director of National Intelligence, Office of the Director of National Intelligence Clips 6:54 Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): President Zelensky, eager to establish himself at home as the friend of the president of the most powerful nation on earth, had at least two objectives: get a meeting with the president and get more military help. And so what happened on that call? Zelensky begins by ingratiating himself, and he tries to enlist the support of the president. He expresses his interest in meeting with the president, and says his country wants to acquire more weapons from us to defend itself. 7:30 Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): And what is the President's response? Well, it reads like a classic organized crime shakedown. Shorn of its rambling character and in not so many words, this is the essence of what the President communicates. We've been very good to your country. Very good. No other country has done as much as we have. But you know what? I don't see much reciprocity here. I hear what you want. I have a favor I want from you, though. And I'm going to say this only seven times, so you better listen good. I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent. Understand? Lots of it, on this and on that. I'm gonna put you in touch with people, not just any people, I'm going to put you in touch with Attorney General of the United States, my attorney general, Bill Barr. He's got the whole weight of the American law enforcement behind him. And I'm gonna put you in touch with Rudy, you're going to love Him, trust me. You know what I'm asking. And so I'm only going to say this a few more times, in a few more ways. And by the way, don't call me again, I'll call you when you've done what I asked. This is, in some in character, what the President was trying to communicate with the President of Ukraine. It would be funny if it wasn't such a graphic betrayal of the President's oath of office. But as it does represent a real betrayal, there's nothing the President says here that is in America's interest, after all. 1:14:40 Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH): While the chairman was speaking I actually had someone text me, "Is he just making this up?" And yes, yes he was. Because sometimes fiction is better than the actual words or the texts. But luckily the American public are smart and they have the transcript, they've read the conversation, they know when someone's just making it up. 1:19:45 Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): In my summary, the President's call was meant to be at least part in parody. The fact that that's not clear is a separate problem in and of itself. Of course, the president never said, "If you don't understand me, I'm gonna say seven more times." My point is, that's the message that the Ukraine president was receiving, in not so many words. September 17, 2019 Morning Joe on MSNBC Clips Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): We have not spoken directly with the whistleblower. We would like to. But I'm sure the whistleblower has concerns that he has not been advised as the law requires by the Inspector General or the Director of National Intelligence, just as to how he is to communicate with Congress. And so the risk of the whistleblower is retaliation. Will the whistleblower be protected under the statute if the offices that are supposed to come to his assistance and provide the mechanism are unwilling to do so? But yes, we would love to talk directly with the whistleblower. March 28, 2019 CNN with Chris Cuomo Clips Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): One, there's ample evidence of collusion in plain sight and that is true. And second, that is not the same thing as whether Bob Muller would be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt the crime of conspiracy. There's a difference between there being evidence of collusion and proof beyond reasonable doubt of a crime. March 24, 2019 This Week with George Stephanopoulos Clips George Stephenopolous: You have said though in the past there is significant evidence of collusion. How do you square that with Robert Muller's decision not to indict anyone. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): There is significant evidence of collusion, and we've set that out time and time again, from the secret meetings in Trump Tower to the conversations between Flynn and the Russian ambassador, to the providing of polling data to someone linked to Russian intelligence, and Stone's conversation with WikiLeaks and the GRU through -- George Stephenopolous: None of it prosecuted. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): Well that's true. And as I pointed out on your show many times, there's a difference between compelling evidence of collusion and whether the Special Counsel concludes that he can prove beyond a reasonable doubt the criminal charge of conspiracy. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): We need to be able to see any evidence that this President, or people around him, may be compromised by a foreign power. We've of course seen all kinds of disturbing indications that this President has a relationship with Putin that is very difficult to justify or explain. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): It's our responsibility to tell the American people, "These are the facts. This is what your president has done. This is what his key campaign and appointees have done. These are the issues that we need to take action on." This is potential compromise. There is evidence, for example, quite in the public realm that the President sought to make money from the Russians, sought the Kremlin's help to make money during the presidential campaign, while denying business ties with the Russians. February 17, 2019 CNN with Dana Bash Clips Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): Look, you can see evidence in plain sight on the issue of collusion, pretty compelling evidence. Now, there's a difference between seeing evidence of collusion and being able to prove a criminal conspiracy beyond a reasonable doubt. August 5, 2018 Face the Nation Clips Margaret Brennan: Can you agree that there has been no evidence of collusion, coordination, or conspiracy that has been presented thus far between the Trump campaign and Russia? Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): No, I don't agree with that at all. I think there's plenty of evidence of collusion or conspiracy in plain sight. December 10, 2017 CNN Clips Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): But we do know this: the Russians offered help, the campaign accepted help. The Russians gave help and the President made full use of that help, and that is pretty damning whether it is proof beyond a reasonable doubt of conspiracy or not. November 1, 2017 MSNBC Clips Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): What is clear as this: the Kremlin repeatedly told the campaign it had dirt on Clinton and offered to help it and at least one top Trump official, the President's own son, accepted. Rachel Maddow: The Kremlin offered dirt to the Trump campaign. The President's campaign said yes to that offer. That's no longer an open question. All that stuff has now been proven and admitted to. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee today, using his time today, using his opening statement today to walk through -- ding ding ding, point by point -- what we've already learned in black and white, in written correspondence and public statements and in freaking court filings, about all the times the Trump campaign was offered helped by Russia to influence our election and all the times the Trump campaign said "Yes, please." March 23, 2017 The View Clips Jedediah Bila: Congressman, you made yesterday what some are deeming a provocative statement by saying that there is more than circumstantial evidence now that the Trump camp colluded with Russia. Senator John McCain was critical of that, others have been critical of that. Can you defend that statement? Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): Yes. And I, you know, I don't view it as the same bombshell that apparently they did. Look, I've said that I thought there was circumstantial evidence of collusion or coordination, and that there was direct evidence of deception. And no one had an issue with that. And I don't think anyone really contested that, on the basis of the information we keep getting, I can say, in my opinion, it's now not purely circumstantial. We had the FBI Director testify in open session about this, acknowledge an FBI investigation. Obviously, this is now public. And I think it's fair to say that that FBI investigation is justified, that that wouldn't be done on the basis of not credible allegations. And so I think it's appropriate to talk in general terms about the evidence, but I don't think it's appropriate for us to go into specifics and say, "This is what we know from this piece of classified information," or "this what we know from this witness." But I do think, in this investigation where the public is hungry for information, it is important that we try to keep the public in the loop. That's why we're having public hearings. March 22, 2017 MSNBC Clips Chuck Todd: You have seen direct evidence of collusion? Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): I don't want to go into specifics, but I will say that there is evidence that is not circumstantial. March 19, 2017 Meet the Press Clips Chuck Todd: Collusion is sort of what hasn't been proven here between whatever the Russians did and the Trump campaign. In fact, the former Acting Director of the CIA, who was Mike Morell, who was a supporter of Hillary Clinton, he essentially reminded people and took Director Clapper at his word on this show who said, there has been no evidence that has been found of collusion. Are we at the point of -- at what point do you start to wonder if there is a fire to all this smoke? Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): Well, first of all, I was surprised to see Director Clapper say that because I don't think you can make that claim categorically as he did. I would characterize it this way at the outset of the investigation: there is circumstantial evidence of collusion. There is direct evidence, I think, of deception. [00:30] Former Capitol Hill Police Chief Exposes January 6 Conspiracy (32 minutes) Tucker Carlson released an interview yesterday with former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund. Sund explained that intelligence and military officials denied him access to necessary intelligence before the protest on Jan. 6, 2021, and then waited several hours to send in National Guard backup once the protest was in motion. Also, Fox News host Jesse Watters reported this week that the House of Representatives January 6 Committee has deleted almost half of the information it gathered in two years of investigating—information that Donald Trump could have subpoenaed in his January 6-related trial scheduled for next year. What is the January 6 Committee trying to hide? [32:00] FBI Assassinates Crippled, Pro-Trump Senior Citizen for Truth Social Posts (14 minutes) At 6:15 Wednesday morning, the FBI shot and killed 75-year-old Craig Robertson at his home in Provo, Utah. The handicapped senior citizen had made some unhinged posts on Truth Social about killing Joe Biden. Instead of blaming the FBI for cold-bloodedly killing this man, the news media pinned the blame on, you guessed it, Donald Trump. [46:00] Michigan Voter Fraud Cover-up Continues (9 minutes) Steve Bannon interviewed former White House official Andrew Kloster about the voter registration fraud cover-up in Michigan before the 2020 election. Kloster tried to investigate the case but was stonewalled because of “standing orders not to deal with election matters, both from the White House Counsel and from [Attorney General Bill] Barr.”

On Thursday's Mark Levin Show, the Biden administration has created a legal morass never seen or experienced in American history, as applies to a presidential election. AG Merrick Garland is authorizing indictment after indictment of Biden's possible, if not likely political opponent, in the middle of a presidential election cycle, doing so through his appointment of a special counsel and whose charges must be approved by the attorney general. At the same time, Garland refuses to appoint a special counsel to investigate his client, Joe Biden, even though the DOJ regulation was originally instituted for these exact circumstances. We have former Attorney General Bill Barr who will do anything to get back at Donald Trump, while at the same time, we have current Attorney General Merrick Garland who will do anything to protect his boss, Joe Biden. This kind of legal warfare is not only unprecedented in the history of our republic; it will destroy our electoral system for all time. This unprecedented legal warfare requires an unprecedented response by the only constitutional body left that can do something about it -- the Supreme Court. Also, what Biden has learned, what FDR knew, and what the Democrat party seeks is to monopolize power and control government. That is why Democrats want to abolish the Electoral College so giant Democrat cities can control the entire election and bypass the majority of the country. Even if Democrats lose elections, they have the permanent administrative state to do their bidding. This is a party that needs to be exposed and destroyed if we want to remain free people. Later, Joe Biden is and was a co-conspirator in Hunter Biden's multiple violations of FARA. A letter has been released that shows that Joe knew of Hunter's business associates, among others who have testified the same. There is no reason to wait for an impeachment inquiry, and Congress has more than enough evidence to start. Finally, Mark is joined by presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy to discuss his Conservative values and the 2024 election. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

On Monday's Mark Levin Show, a Judge ruled that Donald Trump can't discuss or post on his social sites about the core of the appalling case that Jack Smith brought against him. Trump gets to defend himself - we don't have secret courts in America. The government will have to let every one of these documents see the light of day. Also, Trump's lawyers are being targeted by a dark money group. if you can't get a lawyer, you can't get due process. This group is destroying our Bill of Rights. Former assistant U.S. attorney Will Scharf calls in to discuss the major issues that need to be addressed by special counsel Smith in the Trump documents case. This isn't a rock-solid case, it's on a very shaky foundation. Later, Bill Barr has been all over TV and his attacks on Trump are becoming increasingly emotional and unhinged. He has smeared Trump more than he has ever criticized the Biden crime family and the millions of dollars they received from our enemies, including communist China. But something bigger happened today, President Biden sold us out to the Communist Chinese and sold out our ally Taiwan. Secretary of State says, ‘we do not support Taiwan independence.' Under today's circumstances, under endless threats from China to Taiwan - you don't speak out this way about Taiwan unless you are selling them out. It was clear Blinken was groveling to Xi at the direction of Biden. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
On Thursday's Mark Levin show, Bill Barr was Attorney General before and after Hillary Clinton's private server with classified information and her cover-up by destroying documents and smashing cell phones yet chose to do nothing about it. Now his purpose in life is to be a Donald Trump attack dog, and he is welcomed with open arms by the media to cheer on Trump's federal indictment over obstruction charges even though his reasoning goes around in circles. Hillary Clinton, Lyndon B Johnson, and Joe Biden did far worse than Trump but were never investigated under the Espionage Act. There is not any time in the history of the statute, since 1917, that it would ensnare a President, Vice President, or cabinet secretary. Also, President Biden is selling out the United States of America to Iran, whereas Donald Trump was as close as could be to toppling their Islamonazi regime. The Biden Administration is working on another deal with Iran, which is backed by China, Russia, and North Korea; an oral agreement where billions of dollars would be given to Iranians in exchange for a promise for them to stop doing what they're doing. Also, Mark is joined by Senator Rick Scott about the arraignment of Donald Trump and the coverup of the Biden Crime family under this corrupt justice system. Learn more about your ad choices.
