Perfect people are boring. Perfect people are obnoxious because they're better than us. Perfect people are, above all, too good to be true. - Howard Mittelmark and Sandra Newman The post S7E1 – The Mary Sue appeared first on Writing Roots.

On this week's entertainment-themed Round 2: The judges' auditions continue on “So You Think You Can Dance,” with more of the most! amazing! dancers! (and one token "no thanks"). On “The West Wing” season 6 finale, convention wheeling and dealing finally leads to a Democratic presidential nominee, and who that is surprises us not a bit. Next week, there will not be a new SYTYCD nor (we think) a discussion of S7E1 on the West Wing Weekly podcast. So we're planning a special episode, with a guest star: Our own Nicole Eredics, who will chat with us about season 2 of “Big Little Lies” on HBO. Talking Through The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be are prophetic words spoken by Dr. Jenner way back in season 1 as Rick and the gang fled an about to explode CDC in Atlanta. Much like Rick, we didn’t ever think that those words would or could come back to haunt us. Now we know differently. Two of our beloved characters will no longer be a part of our show, but they will not be forgotten. Especially by the rest of the characters. In fact, this episode will most likely be the story that changed everything. The most polarizing episode ever! Quite a polarizing episode once again from The Walking Dead, and if you are anything like me, you didn’t really like The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be. That’s not to say it’s a bad episode, but bad things happened. Things I didn’t like. Things that will forever change the show, and maybe not for the better. I had a hard time with this episode mainly because of the frustration. I don’t like watching someone get their spirit and resolve broken, and that’s exactly what happened to Rick. I don’t like watching injustice and that’s what Negan embodies for me. Fortunately, Maggie still has some fight left in her, and hopefully, she will be able to bring them back from the brink of despair. We’re all counting on you, Maggie! We will mourn the loss of Glenn and Abraham for a long time to come! That’s It For The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be! We love to get your feedback! Please send us some audio! We wanted to give a special shout out to Cutter because while you submitted your feedback in time, we didn’t get it in time…D’OH!!! Don’t you fret, we will be sure to include it next week! For next week’s episode, Season 7 Episode 2, titled The Well, please submit your feedback by 6 PM Eastern/5 PM Central Tuesday, November 1, 2016. Ratings are WAY up! The Day Will Come Will You Won’t Be got an 8.36 in the 18-49 demographic, with 17.029 million viewers, up from the last season finale‘s 6.92 and 14.193 million viewers. It’s also up from the last season finale, which got a 7.43 in the 18-49 and 14.633 million viewers. It’s the second-highest rating ever for the show, second only to No Sanctuary‘s 8.70 and 17.290 million viewers.

Talking Poofy present The Poofcast 111 (Season 7 Episode 1) starring Scott Brennan, Adam Richard and Toby Sullivan. Special Guest Star Wes Snelling. We open up the Can of Wes again and it sprays all over us. I wish he wouldn't shake them up before he brings them in. We end up talking about just what it is that we find offensive. Believe it or not, even Talking Poofy has a line that it draws. Then we tapdance on it. If you have an opinion about this episode, good or bad (and we always assume the latter) we would love to hear from you.
