Rick Grimes is a 30-year technology professional, with deep experience in Marketing, Operations, and Data Analysis. He has held leadership positions at companies of all sizes, ranging from some of the biggest companies in the world, such as Microsoft and Yahoo, to small startups that were still figuring out what to call themselves. Rick caught the AI bug about two years ago and has been using, teaching, and evangelizing AI ever since. He has taught hundreds of people how to incorporate AI into both their professional and personal workflows to create efficiencies and enable new capabilities. He uses AI to supercharge many aspects of his day, from engaging it as a strategic thought partner to helping him create copy to building a Spanish tutor for his son so Rick could watch his Steelers play while his son worked on his Spanish vocabulary. Rick is currently Director of Marketing at Ai Layer Labs, a Web3 startup at the intersection of AI and blockchain.

With Richard literally crawling out of the ground after being buried, we ask robot to help us imagine a scenario where Melrose Place and The Walking Dead cross over. Who will win in a leadership battle between Amanda Woodward and Rick Grimes? Is Daryl Dixon or Alison Parker the better sidekick? Which Melrose Place characters will take advantage of the zombie horde to begin an illicit affair? Also, who was the Scud Stud?
Vihdoin saimme Suomeen nämä kolme The Walking Dead spin-off sarjaa ja ensimmäisiksi päätin pistää Disney+ tulille Rick & Michonne sarjan The Ones Who Live. Kuka on sinun suosikki hahmo tästä sarjasta? Entä suosikki hahmo all time, mistä vain TWD sarjasta?

What happens when a true crime podcast shoutout sends an author's heart racing just as much as the mysterious seizures plaguing characters in a TV show? This week, I'm sharing the electric vibes from Atlanta Comic-Con that fueled my fire to continue weaving tales in my book series and revealing how the surprising nod from a renowned podcast left me grappling with a blend of pride and nerves. We also delve into the thrilling yet complicated world of "The Walking Dead," where the Rick Grimes finale has us reeling, and "Tales of the Walking Dead" promises to expand this beloved universe even further. Then, we beckon you to join us in peeling back the shadowy layers of "From" episode five, "Silhouettes," where every re-watch unveils new secrets.Amid the chaos of unraveling timelines and the raw emotional triggers of "From," we dissect the significance of the character's physical reactions and how their past intertwines with their present predicaments. The tension escalates as we analyze the impact of Nathan's shocking narrative twist and the frustrating storytelling choices that leave us yearning for resolutions. Furthermore, we dissect the complexities of Christy's relationships and Sarah's haunting past, scrutinizing how their stories bleed into each other, shaping a maze of friendships and storylines that demand our full attention. At long last the return of RICK GRIMES and MICHONNE!! This is the story every Walking Dead fan has been waiting to see come to its conclusion. Last we saw Rick he was blowing up a bridge and being airlifted by the lady with the worst haircuts on TV - Jadis. Then we had to wait. And wait and then wait some more. We saw The Walking Dead proper end. Fear the Walking Dead end. Tales of the Walking and a Daryl Dixon show. There may have been some we missed. All the while we wanted to see Rick and Michonne together again and hopefully reunited with Judith and RJ. Well all was answered in this 6 episode series. Where's Rick been? What's he been doing? How could Michonne possibly find him in a post-apocalyptic world? TGIF! Our coverage of The Ones Who Live concludes this week with our chat about the finale. We LOVED it! We were thrilled to see the Grimes family get a happy ending. We talk about Jadis and her disturbingly detailed dossier, unpack our thoughts about the Echelon briefing, and of course we swoon over the family reunion. This series was such a fun watch and truly felt like a love letter from Danai Gurira and Andrew Lincoln to their fans. Happy Friday! Our coverage of The Ones Who Live continues this week with our discussion of Episode 5, "Become." We enjoyed the episode and were SHOCKED, but delighted by the return of Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) to the TWD universe. We share all of our favorite moments from Richonne's second honeymoon episode - including the big proposal at the end. Candi very graciously fills in a few background gaps for me on the past relationship between Gabriel and Ann/Jadis. And of course we talk about Jadis's final character run and whether or not we understood all of her choices. We close with our wishlist for the finale. In sum, we want cinnamon roll sweetness and will not be here for any bittersweet endings. This is a love story and we want a happy ending for this beloved couple. And a reunion!Support the showFollow the pod on IG, Twitter, and Tumblr.Send longer feedback to morewinepod@gmail.com.Find our full catalog of past episodes at morewinepod.buzzsprout.com.

Happy Wine Wednesday! Candi is back to discuss episode 4 of "The Ones Who Live" written by the multi-talented Danai Gurira. We have a scene heavy discussion this week as we discuss the multiple reckonings for Richonne - Michonne's disappointment in her reunion with Rick and the reckoning for the couple as a whole. Of course we unpack Michonne's long awaited revelation to Rick about their son, RJ. And we talk about how the couple ultimately gets on the same page by being vulnerable and sharing how their trauma has impacted them. This was a spectacular episode and Danai exercised the utmost love and care as we navigated this important turning point for Richonne. This episode had us all in our feelings, y'all. Especially as Rick opened up about how his time with CRM made him lose Carl all over again. Those flashbacks! We close with a little bit of speculation about what's to come. I run a few of my tin foil theories about the presence of "A"s by Candi and whether they have a larger meaning for the spinoffs and main series as a whole. We had a few audio issues in this episode, so apologies for that! Riverside was a bit glitchy this week.As always, thank you SO much for listening! Happy Wine Wednesday! Candi is back this week to discuss episode 3 of "The Ones Who Live" entitled "Bye." The writers told us to let go of a precise timeline and we discuss whether we're on the same page with that decision. We're three episodes in and hadn't yet talked about the opening sequence and theme song, so we share our reflections on that. I ask Candi how the show opening compares to the other spinoffs. We had a LOT of thoughts about Rick's big escape plan and loved every bit of Michonne's reaction to it. We've seen two women visit Rick in his apartment so far and neither one of them is Michonne. We talk about the two women - Jadis and Thorne - who have visited Rick in his new home and whether or not we trust them. Spoiler alert: we don't.Thanks so much for listening! "Is it still him?" We dive a little deeper to answer that question as Michonne beats Rick Grimes' kill-count record, setting alarm bells across the panel. Maybe Jadis/Warrant Officer Anne Stokes was right, though: Maybe Richonne can do anything?
Happy Wine Wednesday! Candi is back this week to discuss episode 2 of "The Ones Who Live" entitled "Gone." We talk about Michonne's journey to find Rick and appreciate that despite encounters with human dangers like Negan and the Whisperers in the main series, we find her still open to new people. We also discuss her decision to withhold information about RJ from Rick.Of course, we had to celebrate the amazing performance by Matthew Jeffers as Nat. We praise Jeffers' performance and talk about his amazing chemistry with Dana Guirira, which is likely due to the two having prior acting history together. Speaking of chemistry, we loved all of the kissing and reconnecting between Richonne in this episode. And we unpack our frustration with the character who threatened our favorite couple this week - Jadis, the wild card. Thanks so much for listening! We will be back next week to discuss episode 3. We jump into this episode right where Michonne left us on The Walking Dead 10x13, What We Become. She cuts a bloody path to Rick Grimes, just shy of killing him. But is it still him? And was it a good move for him to bring her back to the Civic Republic (Military)?

On Today's Episode, we're sinking our teeth into the AMC's highly anticipated miniseries The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. Timeline here… Things that bugged me about The Walking Dead: Not once in the seven seasons I watched the show did anyone try to locate short wave radio and make contact beyond their local area. Why then do the walking dead not decompose but stay intact until their heads are blown off The walking dead slow down in cold weather. Why not go north in the winter and clear out huge swaths of land/city and build defenses that walking dead can't get through? There are very few animals.
