Lured Up Podcast 253 Record Date - 2/8/23 Publish Date - 2/11/23 February is an exceptionally busy month in game! We begin with a recap of the last week before jumping into the Valentine's Day event! It's amazing because people are actually opening their gifts! There is plenty to get through in February with the Primals and Hoenn Tour, but Niantic has given us the dates for Community Days and events that are happening over the next 2-3 months! Let's take it one day at a time because there is plenty to do! Some small updates are happening for GO Tour like the addition of Location Cards! While no one asked for this feature it could be something pretty cool if it is able to become a tradable item. Finally we wrap up with a Battle Party and Raid Guide for Tapu Lele! Happy hunting! Lured Up Podcast 213 Record Date - 3/23/22 Publish Date - 3/25/22 We had a ton of fun on this episode as we covered a range of topics both with the game and the community. We start with a recap of the Festival of Colors, which seemed to have universal approval, even though the community is still mourning the loss of stationary incense. The Lush Jungle event is also proving to be a lot of fun, and we look forward to catching plenty of Cottonee in parks this weekend. Stufful Community Day was announced and it features double bonuses and a new group play bonus! This all seems great, but when you mix it with a reduction from 6 hours to 3 hours, it appears that the community has yet another point of contention with Niantic. This one may even prove to be bigger than Incense, even though it will probably impact players less. We wrap up the show with a Raid Guide and Battle Party for Tapu Lele as we have a few more days to track down the hundo. Finally, we dig into a massive Poke The Bear centered around how some Trainers are so angry about the game, yet they can't stop playing it or talking about it. Should they just walk away from the game? The community went all in on this one, and it was a great discussion! In this episode, I talk about the upcoming Lush Jungle Event, Tapu Lele Debut in Raids for PokemonGo, and game files found for Flower Crown Pokemon found in the game data. Could it be a new event? The title is brought to you by Gbrown2012 Welcome to Pokémon GO Podcast! Charles and Joe are back with another fantastic episode! Charles keeps thinking green looks purple. We have an interesting debate on whether or not Niantic should turn the shiny rate up to 11 during paid events. We see the merits of both, but also offer a couple of compromises. Niantic is running a contest that will allow 5 people to get a temporary pokestop for 6 months for their community. Once again Niantic is failing to communicate properly. They made it so stops at certain parks and universities gave extra items during community day, but they only gave us a single day notice. What is going on with Niantic lately? They seem to be shooting from the hip. Players are still mad at Niantic for the incense changes and now this. Niantic has made it so Pokémon go cannot be played in Russia, but who is it actually targeting? All of that incredible content, and of course YOUR feedback and comments! Thanks to our awesome Patrons we will keep producing and improving the Pokémon GO Podcast. With your help everyone “catch ‘em all,” and you can start by going to patreon.com/pokemongopodcast and growing your community! We thank you all, for your support, and we hope you can help us serve you better as the show continues to grow and evolve. Thanks to ALL of our awesome listeners, especially our Patrons. Due to their generous Patronage, we will continue building this great community! [Discussion] For paid events, should Niantic crank the shiny rate up a ton? A new PokéStop for your community! – Pokémon GO Reflecting, Exploring, and Walking to honor the 11th Memorial Day of the Great East Japan Earthquake – Pokémon GO The Best Places Globally to Play Community Day This Weekend – Pokémon GO Pokémon GO's Lush Jungle event features Cottonee, Fomantis, Tapu Lele, a weekend park spotlight, and more! Bad news on the Sandshrew Community Day Incense front. It is the new, one spawn every five minutes whiist stationary spawn rate. Niantic's games are no longer available for download in Russia and Belarus, and gameplay will also be suspended there shortly.
