De wereld van de traditionele Chinese geneeskunde (TCG of in het Engels TCM) met daarin diverse facetten. Bijvoorbeeld de kruidengeneeskunde. Wat Carstien zo interessant maakt is dat ze deze TCG filosofie vertaalt naar onze eigen bodem. Dus wat groeit er hier om je heen. In deze podcast spreek ik dus met Carstien Nijeboer, een bevlogen expert in kruidengeneeskunde en één van de vaste docenten binnen Total Health. Carstien heeft een achtergrond in zowel westerse als oosterse fytotherapie en combineert jarenlange praktijkervaring met een sterke didactische visie. Ze staat bekend om haar heldere uitleg, haar diepe kennis van plantwerking en haar vermogen om theorie direct te koppelen aan de therapeutische praktijk. In dit gesprek duiken we in de wereld van kruidengeneeskunde: hoe kruiden het lichaam ondersteunen, wat je als therapeut ermee kunt, en hoe je veilig en effectief werkt met planten in de behandelkamer. We bespreken ook de opleiding Kruidengeneeskunde een praktijkgerichte opleiding waarin studenten leren werken met fytotherapie vanuit zowel moderne wetenschappelijke inzichten als traditionele kruidenleer. Denk aan farmacologische werking, energetische kwaliteiten, indicaties, contra-indicaties, samenstellen van formuleringen, en casuïstiek uit de dagelijkse praktijk. De opleiding is opgebouwd in overzichtelijke modules, met veel aandacht voor persoonlijk contact, praktijkvoorbeelden en het ontwikkelen van therapeutisch vakmanschap. Over Carstien Carstien is haar werkzame leven gestart in de psychiatrie als verpleegkundige. 15 jaar later heeft ze in Hilversum de academie voor natuurgeneeskunde gedaan met als specialisatie acupunctuur. Hier is de interesse voor de TCM gelegd en die heeft niet meer losgelaten en boeit na 25 jaar nog net zo als in het begin. In part that might be because the murderous monster that committed several murders in Texarkana in 1946 seemed to come out of nowhere. The hunter quickly was named the Phantom Killer. Then 10 weeks after the attacks began, the Phantom vanished. The Phantom Killer stalked and hunted young adults and teens on the streets of Texarkana always on the weekend from February 22nd through May 3rd. Texarkana became the "Town that Dreaded Sundown." The killer truly was a phantom in every sense.
