This week Mike and Rich get their berserker on with three films based (loosely) on Norse mythology. We start out with recent release VALHALLA: THE LEGEND OF THOR and follow it up with our Short Shot, RISE OF THE MASK: ODIN'S NINE. Finally, our DTV Throwback is the very unique VIKINGDOM - where else are you going to see a buddy act between Craig Fairbrass with Jon Foo?? So grab your horned helmet and take a listen!
Ladies and gentlemen, we're back after a bit of a hiatus! This will be something of a special episode, featuring a panel discussion held at FINAS sometime ago on the film ‘Vikingdom'. Our very own Fikri was called in to moderate the session, and it features the film's producer Norman Abdul Halim, KRU Studios' Archie Nasution and Roslen Hashim from Harian Metro. The episode runs for over an hour, so we hope you'll be in for some good times. We'll be back soon as per usual, but until then, we wish each and everyone of you Selamat Hari Raya and happy holidays from the world's only film podcast to be done in Bahasa Malaysia! The first of our new review episodes, guest of the show Scott Neal returns to review the 2013 film Vikingdom. Fresh off the local festival Crafts on the Clinton, Kris breaks down the experience, the flavors, and the breweries/meaderies. Then he jumps right into shredding the film apart and myth checks the elements of the plot. How to Train Your Dragon By Cressida Cowell Read by David Tennant Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, was a truly extraordinary Viking Hero. Warrior chieftain, awesome sword-fighter and amateur naturalist, he was known throughout Vikingdom as 'the Dragon Whisperer', on account of his amazing power over these terrifying beasts. But it wasn't always like that. In fact, in the beginning, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III was the most put upon Viking you'd ever seen. Not loud enough to make himself heard at dinner with his father, Stoick the Vast; not hard enough to beat his chief rival, Snotlout, at Bashyball, the number one school sport and CERTAINLY not stupid enough to go into a cave full of dragons to find a pet ...
The Cinematic Flushers take on Norse mythology and a red beared Thor! Dominic Purcell headlines this lame, LOTR wannabe as a man chosen to take down the Hammer of the Gods by "blowing" a horn in his face. Special guests Arthur Harkness from the Brotherhood of Evil Geeks and social media consultant Steph Wanamaker join the Flushers for this homoerotic Viking outing.

It's been a pretty long time since Khai and Amelia commented on what's going on in the local creative arts world but they've finally found time out of their busy schedules to sit down and talk absolute nonsense. So listen in as they talk about how actors want government permission to tint their car windows darker, the love of a good tortoise and just how metal Vikingdom looks. You'll also get to hear Michael chiming in every once in a while as he does work in the background as well as the death of Khai's sonic screwdriver at the hands of Gimme.
