Francis Galluppi is the writer/director of The Last Stop in Yuma County (2024). After years of touring in various punk bands and an accident that led to a broken wrist, Francis decided it was time for a career shift. During a six month healing process, he picked up his camera and began shooting videos around the house with his wife. Almost immediately, he fell in love with the creative process and started to gather his friends to make his first short film, High Desert Hell (2019). Utilizing locations from local sources and keeping budget costs to a minimum, he completed his film for around $1,000. After this first successful outing that was on a learn-as-you-go basis and with a new script penned, Francis packed his gear and headed to Oregon to shoot his second short, The Gemini Project (2020). While neither of the shorts gathered major industry attention, they certainly sparked some interest. After a lengthy process of optioning and failing to gather necessary funds, a house was sold in favor of the budget for The Last Stop in Yuma County (2024). Before long, a stacked cast of genre-film crowd favorites were attached to the project including Jim Cummings (Thunder Road, The Wolf of Snow Hollow), Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator, From Beyond), Alex Essoe (Starry Eyes, Doctor Sleep), Sam Huntington (Detroit Rock City, Not Another Teen Movie), Jocelin Donahue (The House of the Devil, Insidious: Chapter 2) and Richard Brake (Mandy, Batman Begins). The film premiered to a packed audience at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas and received rave reviews from moviegoers. Sam Raimi was so impressed with the film that he hand selected Francis to direct the latter of two upcoming Evil Dead installments. Aside from all the film work, he has also shot a handful of music videos for indie rock band, Mt. Joy including "Strangers", "Bathroom Light" and "Evergreen". He's also an avid collector of physical media and screen-used movie props including a piece of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) house.  Stay tuned for many exciting updates on his Evil Dead installment and pick up The Last Stop in Yuma County (2024), available on blu ray and streaming everywhere now!  If you enjoy the episode, be sure to slap the show with a 5-star rating wherever you're listening.  #KellensPettyTalkShow #TheLastStopinYumaCounty #FrancisGalluppi #EvilDead #RichardBrake

Movie Synopsis: When a young man becomes the target of a malevolent entity, he must uncover its true intentions before it takes complete control of him. Let's dive into the paranormal realm for a few minutes! I had the honor and pleasure of speaking to one of the most talented women in horror. Kimberly Jindra who portrays the scary coven woman in this movie delivered her part! Without a doubt, she is exceptional and talented. You can also catch her in the movies “Insidious” (2010) , “Devil” (2010), and “Insidious: Chapter 2” (2013).I love the fact that she went into great detail regarding her role and what it was like on set. And, she had a fun time, too! That tells me that she really enjoys her work, and I hope that I get to see her in another horror movie soon.

Wolf Man (2025) Ending Explained #wolfman #leighwhannell #horror Wolf Man is the latest spin on the classic Universal horror monster from Leigh Whannell. Golden Globe nominee Christopher Abbott (Poor Things, It Comes at Night) stars as Blake, a San Francisco husband and father, who inherits his remote childhood home in rural Oregon after his own father vanishes and is presumed dead. With his marriage to his high-powered wife, Charlotte (Emmy winner Julia Garner; Ozark, Inventing Anna), fraying, Blake persuades Charlotte to take a break from the city and visit the property with their young daughter, Ginger (Matlida Firth; Hullraisers, Coma). But as the family approaches the farmhouse in the dead of night, they're attacked by an unseen animal and, in a desperate escape, barricade themselves inside the home as the creature prowls the perimeter. As the night stretches on, however, Blake begins to behave strangely, transforming into something unrecognizable, and Charlotte will be forced to decide whether the terror within their house is more lethal than the danger without. The film co-stars Sam Jaeger (The Handmaid's Tale), Ben Prendergast (The Sojourn Audio Drama) and Benedict Hardie (The Invisible Man). Wolf Man is directed by Leigh Whannell (The Invisible Man, Upgrade and Insidious: Chapter 3.) The screenplay is written by Leigh Whannell & Corbett Tuck, Lauren Schuker Blum & Rebecca Angel

The next entry in the Insidious franchise has arrived and we knew we had to jump on covering it immediately. We have called this franchise many things in the past. Baby's first horror movie, the movie where the music does a lot of the work, Darth Maul Goblin. Taking place 9 years after the events of Insidious Chapter 2 we are greeted with a down on his luck Josh Lambert due to fallouts from the events of Chapter 2. With Dalton going away to college and the previously closed door to the Further opening once again how can our heroes bring the family together to close the door permanently? Well, as permanent as a franchise that prints money can. How many more Insidious movies will we be subjected to? Should Bobby feel bad for laughing in a movie theater? Most importantly though, is it essential? ************************************************** TIMECODES 0:00 - Intro 0:54 - Spoiler Warning 1:31 - Synopsis 3:14 - Discussion 29:22 - Final Review 35:25 - Is it essential? 42:00 - Socials, Suggestions, Sign Off ************************************************** Rate and subscribe!  Follow us below for more from us and join our Discord for a chat.  We're always open to suggestions on future movies, games, shows, or books to review. ************************************************** Discord: https://discord.gg/mAhMCcvQGk Socials: @EssentialScares | Linktree ************************************************** Follow the hosts: @Corbangarang @TheRedWeenie @Asealpunter

Welcome ladies, germs, and people of all genders! Join Taylor & Curtis as we continue our Trilogy Throwdown series with the first three Insidious films! We review 3/4 of the franchise (lol) and discuss the upcoming installment. Most importantly – we see how it stacks up with our Trilogy Throwdown Champion, the Saw series, and whether we finally have a series to dethrone the GOAT Jigsaw. Is Insidious truly one of the scariest movies ever made? Have you ever been able to listen to "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" the same way again? Is Lin Shaye a good actor? They knew how much the Lipstick Demon looks like Darth Maul....right?!
