This week the Ladies review “Mark of the Demon” by Diana Rowland and compare it with her other series “White Trash Zombie”. Kara summons demons and solves crime in Louisiana- but it doesn't go as planned on either front. Can Kara keep it all together and catch a serial killer before time runs out? Much like detectives, we tried to sort through the evidence, and we walked away with a lot of questions. *SPOILERS* for Book 1 of the Kara Gillian series

Angel Crawford is back in book five of the White Trash Zombie series by Diana Rowland, and she's got a new problem: V12. Having experienced problems with addiction in her human life, Angel is interested to learn that her zombie resistance does not extend to a compound created by Dr. Nikaas, meant to be a temporary lift. This week, the Ladies return to St. Edward's Parish, Louisiana to discuss the continuing adventures of Angel Crawford: white trash zombie. Angel's town is the scene for the filming of a new zombie flick and it's getting a little confusing trying to tell who is a real zombie and who is wearing really great makeup. With warring zombie factions and evil scientists on the loose, Angel is fed up. Finding herself thrust into the role of zombie mommy and losing most of her "real" life in a flood, what's a (somewhat dead) woman to do? *SPOILERS* for books 1-3 of the White Trash Zombie series

“Killing people is hard. I used to think that was a good thing.” The Hammond Family is back in action and committing more ill-advised murder in their attempt to cure Sheila of her zombie-ness. In season 2, they start to unravel the mystery of how she got infected (tip: steer clear of the sketchy seafood) and find that their previous victims might not be as dead as they had hoped. It's confirmed that Sheila is not the only zombie residing and Santa Clarita and a nationwide epidemic may be on its way if they don't step up... after Joel builds his bookshelves. *SPOILERS* for Seasons 1 and 2 of Santa Clarita Diet, with slight references to iZombie and White Trash Zombie.
