I was in Memphis Tennessee and had the pleasure of sitting down with the Hittkidd. My man is a talented music producer born and raised in Grind City. His deep musical roots give him a keen sense of sound as "his personal sound" embodies what Memphis is all about. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that HittKidd was so cultured. HittKidd has made music for local artists but through his hard and dedication he obtained a deal with Global Brand of DreamChasers headed up national artist Meek Mill. He also does a lot of work in the community with the youth as he knows they look up to him as a role model. HittKidds confidence is unwavering. He was born on the west coast but was built by the Midwest, Indianapolis a.k.a. Nap Town, to be exact. He is the owner and founder of Makin' It Mag, which is a publication geared towards aiding Independent artists with getting seen and heard. He and his team provide outlets for individuals who aren't in the mainstream but still have a knack for music. They provide Indie artists opportunities to get their music heard by sonically sound ears and Industry Exces that have been in the music game for a while as well as a whole host of other things. Kelby and his team provide real people with real resources that otherwise may not be accessible because of the lack of being in "the loop". Kelby is a wealth of knowledge and a seasoned vet in the business of life and entertainment. I learned alot from this guy in such a short time and proves himself to be a living Legend. He was told by doctors that his life would not go past 14 years old due to Sickle Cell but everyday he proves them wrong.
