De todos los conciertos que he visto este año en la plaza de la Trinidad el de la cantante nacida en Memphis (Tennessee, EE.UU.) en 1950, este fue, sin duda, el mejor. Además, puso de manifiesto que ahora mismo es la mejor cantante de jazz que hay en la actualidad. Antes de comenzar su actuación Dee Dee Bridgewater recibió el premio Donostiako Jazzaldia (este año ese mismo galardón lo han recibido el guitarrista Marc Ribot y el batería Bill Bruford), ataviada con una pamela imposible.
