Hailing from Port Fairy in Victoria's south-west, Joe made the move to South Australia at the start of the 2020/21 season, which immediately paid dividends, as he received his Sheffield Shield cap in early March. Selected with pick 86 in the 2011 national draft under the father son rule, Jed has gone on to play 103 games in the hoops and has plenty of good footy ahead of him. The boys sat down with future superstar of Australian Women's Cricket, Phoebe Litchfield. At just 17 years of age Phoebe has already achieved a great deal in her short career, taking the WBBL by storm last season after making her debut as a 16-year-old for the Sydney Thunder. She created a lot of excitement with her superb batting performances, scoring 52 not out in just her second game and helping the Thunder to the win. We chat all about her debut WBBL season, rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest names in Australian and International cricket, juggling school and professional sport and much more. She’s got an extremely bright future and not only is she a very exciting talent but also a fantastic young person which you’ll quickly learn as we get into the interview. We were privileged today, to have been joined by the voice of ABC cricket, Jim Maxwell, to talk all things sport and his incredible career in the industry. Having commentated and covered sport for close to 50 years, Jim's quick wit, wisdom and knowledge of not only the game, but life itself has become synonymous with his character, and this was evident right throughout our lengthy and insightful chat, as we delve into all aspects of his career from the early 1970's, to just last year.
