One reason we don’t complete our goals is because they’re usually big and that makes them overwhelming. So we just keep putting them off. Take that big goal and chunk it down. Write down the big goal and all the little steps to help get you to the finish line.

Do you take some time for self-care? It’s so important for success and accomplishing your goals. If your burnout you won’t feel like working towards your goals. Take some time each day to practice a little self-care. Even just 5 -15 mins can really make a difference. For some easy ideas take a listen to this episode. I reveal the self-care things I do to keep me from burning out.
You have a passion for photography, baking, knitting, playing an instrument etc and your friends and family are always telling you, “you should sell these, teach this, make a business out of this”. And you might feel pressure to because it seems like everyone these days is making a side-hustle. But you don’t have to! Having a side-hustle is great if that’s what you want but if you don’t, that’s great too. Sometimes when you turn your passion into a business, you lose your passion for it.
You’ve set the goal of working out. This is the year, you’re going to do it. But you’re just not feeling like it. Your brain is saying, nope, not feeling it. But your body isn’t tired and darn it, you really want to finally accomplish this goal. In this episode I give you a tip to help you push past that voice in your head.

Today’s episode is short and sweet. We’re on to the showstopper in season 1, episode 3 of The Great British Baking Show. The challenge was to make a filled loaf and I chose to make a pane bianco. This loaf of bread is filled with Italian cheese, fresh basil, sun dried tomato and garlic. It’s so delicious!
Woo! We’ve made it to episode 3 of season 1 of the Great British Baking Show. Bread week, my favorite. In this episode I share about baking my first loaf of bread ever, ciabatta. Now it turned out looking more like a long loaf of white bread instead of ciabatta but who cares, it tasted delicious!
It’s the technical challenge of the biscuit round in season 1 of the Great British Baking Show. I’d never heard of these cookies before attempting to make them. With a few tweaks of ingredients I couldn’t find, these cookies turned out delicious. I highly recommend making these cookies. They look fancy pants but they’re so easy to make.
We’ve made it to episode 2 of baking my way through the Great British Baking Show season 1. Episode 2 is all about biscuits. In this episode of the podcast I recap episode one and talk about baking the signature challenge which was savory biscuits. I used one dough to make two flavors. A poppyseed and a sundried tomato, pamesan and sesame seed.
The third challenge in episode one is the showstopper. I had to make a British Cake. I chose to make a Victoria sponge with lemon curd and raspberry cream. This is a definite must make again.
