Chiefs are Still Champs and our celebration hangover is almost over. This week, we talk about the NFL rule changes, and who the Chiefs put the franchise tag on. And like OMG are the Chiefs going to the White House or not? The Chiefs are Champs. And the Houston Astros are chumps.  We talk about the irony of how their security guards were confiscating fans homemade signs.  Houston Asterisks. Should they lose their 2017 World Series title? All of this and more as Moser and I remind everyone that the Chiefs are still champions in episode 12 of the Kansas City Sportscast.

After 50 years of heartache in the playoffs, the Kansas City Chiefs are finally World Champs once again.  The 49ers looked like they might win Super Bowl 54, but Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs defense had something else in mind.  I’ve pinched myself several times to make sure this wasn’t a dream. The Chiefs are Champs.  All of this and more as Moser and I talk about all things Super Bowl 54 on the “We Are the Champions” episode 11 of the Kansas City Sportscast.

Chiefs Kingdom is headed to the Superbowl in Miami. After 50 years of failing… the Chiefs make it back to the biggest game on Earth for the first time since SB4.   After going down 10 to the Titans twice in the first half of the AFC Championship, we once again came back to lead at the half.  The KC defense found a way to stop Derrick Henry, the Titans’ larger-faster-and-stronger-than-Jim-Brown, running back completely in the second half.  The Chiefs have won the Lamar Hunt trophy for the first time ever. The Jayhawks are third in the Nation in college hoops, but who cares, because the Chiefs are going to the Superbowl, baby!!  All this and more in the KANSAS CITY STILL OWES SAN FRANCISCO FOR THE 2014 WORLD SERIES LOSS episode 10 of the Kansas City Sportscast.

The Chiefs go down 24-0 and in the second quarter score 4 touchdowns to lead at half! That’s the first time in NFL history that’s been done.  Not playoff history. It’s 100 year NFL history. We talk mostly about the Chiefs this episode. The Chiefs beat the Chargers in KC and while that was happening, the Dolphins beat the Patriots, giving KC the #2 seed.  We laugh at the Patriots and Bill Belichick’s monotone cry-baby post game conference. We talk about WHY that #2 seed was so important to KC’s Superbowl hopes.  We survey the land of the NFL playoffs. Talk about the College FB playoffs, and talk a bit about the Jayhawks.
