For the second week in a row, the New York Jets defense no-showed and asked rookie quarterback Brady Cook to overcome an insurmountable lead. https://api.spreaker.com/v2/episodes/69047377/download.mp3 Last week it was a quick 21-0 deficit against the Dolphins, and this week it was Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars who jumped out to leads of 14-0 and 31-10 just before the half.  The Jags were off and running from the first snap of the game and never looked back.  Lawrence led the Jags on back-to-back scoring drives with a touchdown strike to Brian Thomas Jr. on the first drive and a 15-yard scramble for a score on their second drive. The Jets would counter with a Brady Cook TD pass, the first of his career, to AD Mitchell to make it 14-7.  That was as close as the Jets would get before Jacksonville ran away with it. Rookie running back Bhaysul Tuten pulled in a 16-yard TD reception to make it 21-7 before the team traded field goals to push the score to 24-10 before Jacksonville managed two more TD passes on a day in which Trevor Lawrence had five scoring strikes. On offense, the Jets just couldn’t keep up.  In his first pro start, quarterback Brady Cook completed 66% of his passes, going 22 for 33 for for 176 yards, a touchdown and three interceptions. The Franciscana dolphin has quite the schnozz. Its beak is longer in relation to the size of its body than that of any other dolphin or whale—up to 15 percent of the animal's total length. The Franciscana has another distinction: It's the only “river dolphin” that doesn't actually live in freshwater rivers. Instead, it lives in saltwater. It's found along the coast of South America, from southern Brazil to central Argentina. It's in bays and estuaries, and up to a few miles out to sea in the Atlantic Ocean. Franciscana dolphins have several other names. The most common is La Plata, for a region of Brazil where it's abundant. The dolphins are among the smallest of all dolphin species—no more than six feet long, and weighing up to a hundred pounds or so. They're grayish brown on top, and lighter underneath. As they age, though, they turn gray-white, so fishermen have given them yet another name: “white ghosts.” That's not just because of their color. Franciscanas move through the water slowly and quietly, perhaps to avoid attracting the attention of killer whales and other predators. But those aren't their greatest threats. Hundreds of the dolphins are caught in fishing nets every year. Coastal pollution, habitat destruction, and other human activities are also problems. So while no one knows the exact population, Franciscanas are listed as “vulnerable”—threatened by people who can't keep their own schnozzes out of the dolphins' business. NY Jets vs. Jacksonville Jaguars NFL Pick Prediction 12/14/2025 by Tony T. Jets vs. Jaguars Injuries NY quarterback Taylor and tight end Taylor is out. On defense a linebacker and corner are out. Jacksonville receiver Parker and left tackle are questionable. Jacksonville has a clear injury advantage based on the Chao ratings. Both units for the Jaguars are in good health with ratings in the low 90s. Recent Box Score Key Stats Jets at Jaguars 1PM ET—NY fell to 3-10 following their 34-10 home defeat against Miami. Jets were ineffective in the passing game and rushed for 65 yards for 3.8 yards a carry. On defense they limited the Dolphins through the air and allowed 239 yards rushing for 5.8 yards a carry. Tyrod Taylor threw four passes and dealt with a groin injury. Third string Brady Cook is practicing with the first string. Jacksonville improved to 9-4 with their 36-19 home victory against Indianapolis. Jaguars were effective through the air and rushed for 103 yards for 3.2 yards a carry. On defense they allowed 3.4 yards per run with 196 yards passing for 5.4 yards per pass attempt. Trevor Lawrence 17 of 30 for 244 yards and two touchdowns.

In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the latest concerning Pittsburgh Steelers OLB T.J. Watt, who is currently dealing with a lung issue that could prevent him from playing Monday night against the Miami Dolphins. Alex and I go over the Friday morning report from Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network about Watt and how he is allegedly dealing with a tiny hole in one of his lungs. The Steelers released their first injury report of Week 15 on Thursday, so Alex and I make sure to recap it early in this show. We discuss the possibility of T Andrus Peat and DT Derrick Harmon not playing on Monday night against the Dolphins. We also talk a little about the big opportunity that potentially awaits T Dylan Cook should he wind up making his first NFL start on Monday night should Peat wind up being unable to play. The Steelers made several transactions the last two days, so Alex and I make sure to recap those, which includes two offensive linemen being added to the practice squad and Cook being signed to the 53-man roster. On Thursday, we once again heard from two of the Steelers' coordinators, Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin, so Alex and I recap the main talking points to come out of those media sessions.
