In a 90 minute sprint, Arcand gives his early thoughts on the Ravens and puts a stamp on any potential friction between Mike Vrabel and Josh McDaniels. it may be quiet, but keep an antenna up for something to occur down the road. Then, injuries on the defensive side of the ball along with having a hard time containing Josh Allen should create some worry for Patriots' fans ahead of Sunday night against Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. And, it looks like there's a blinking contest going on between the Red Sox and Diamondbacks when it comes to Ketel Marte and Alex Bregman.
Eddie managed to lock himself out, but his week hasn't gone as badly as it has for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. A loss to the Chargers and an MCL and LCL tear for Mahomes means that the Chiefs may be entering a rebuilding era, but does that mean retirement for Travis Kelce? A big comeback for the Bills and important wins for the Ravens and Steelers, but could anyone win the Super Bowl this year? Plus another unconvincing win for Arsenal as Manchester City ease past Crystal Palace. And Fernando Mendoza won the Heisman, but Diego Pavia may have been the biggest loser.

The timeline for the Patriots now shifts towards this Sunday in primetime on the road against the Ravens. why did the Bills shrink some belief in the Pats by beating them last week? Then, with another desperate team in Baltimore, a loss could have drastic implications in New England. And, Drake Maye isn't worried about winning MVP and even though the odds aren't in his favor, a top finish still would do wonders.
After Ted convinces Arcand to change his mind about who was more at fault in the Patriots' loss to Buffalo, injuries on the defensive front are causing more concerns ahead of their next matchup with the Ravens.

Week 16 of the 2025 NFL season is here, and the Missing the Point crew unloads on one of the most chaotic weeks the league has seen in years. Dave, Mike, Bobby, and Rayshawn break down the fallout from a Week 15 that completely reshaped the playoff picture and may have permanently altered multiple franchises. It starts with the injuries. The ACL gods showed no mercy. Patrick Mahomes is done for the season, ending the Chiefs’ playoff hopes in brutal fashion. Micah Parsons goes down, ripping the heart out of Green Bay’s defense. Davante Adams, Devin Neal, and several other key contributors leave games early, forcing contenders to scramble as the season enters its final stretch. The crew debates whether this was bad luck, bad field conditions, or just the inevitable price of a longer and more violent NFL season. Then comes the moment that broke everyone’s brain. Philip Rivers is back. The Colts are handing the offense to a quarterback who retired years ago, and the crew reacts with disbelief, laughter, and real football analysis. Is this desperation or genius. Can Rivers still read defenses. Can he survive a hit. And what does this say about the Colts’ confidence in the rest of their roster. From there, the episode hits the Cowboys’ slow collapse, the Chiefs being mathematically cooked, the Ravens living dangerously on the playoff bubble, and the Panthers, Texans, and Steelers trying to survive December football. The Patriots winning streak came to an end, thanks to a dreadful defenseive preformance in the second half vs the Bills, while the Broncos continue to look like the most complete team in the league. The episode closes with a full breakdown of the Real BK Top 10 Power Rankings heading into Week 16. Texans, Chargers, Jaguars, 49ers, Bears, Seahawks, Patriots, Bills, Rams, and Broncos. Every spot is debated, every rise and fall explained, and no team is safe from criticism. If you want real NFL conversations, sharp humor, and power rankings that actually react to what happens on the field, this episode delivers. December 17, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 65 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the latest news concerning the Pittsburgh Steelers. We discuss the recent transactions made by the Steelers in addition to the team bringing in quite a few players for visits on Tuesday and the likely reasons for that. Former Steelers WR Ke'Shawn Williams was claimed off waivers by the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday, so we make sure to hit on that little nugget of news as well. Either the Steelers or the Baltimore Ravens will win the AFC North division this year and on top of that, neither team is likely to make the playoffs as a Wild Card team. Because of all that, and based on what may or may not happen in Week 16, Alex and I wonder if there could be a situation where either the Steelers or the Ravens, or even both teams, wind up resting players in Week 17 in preparation for a winner-take-all game against each other in Week 18. After poor and inconclusive discussion about potential scenarios in Week 17, Alex and I began our weekly recap of the all-22 tape of the Steelers' last game, the Monday night win against the Miami Dolphins. We start on the offensive side of the football for the Steelers and spend a lot of time discussing the play of T Dylan Cook against the Dolphins. We go over the other good, bad and ugly related to the Monday night offensive all-22 tape. After thoroughly discussing the offensive tape from Week 15, Alex and I then do the same when it comes to the defensive side of the football. We discuss the Steelers defense shutting down the Dolphins' running game on Monday night and how the unit went about limiting the Miami passing game for most of the game as well. Are the Steelers currently a team that could make some noise in the playoffs this year, assuming they indeed do wind up making the postseason tournament? Alex and address that question after we are finished discussing the Monday win against the Dolphins. This 87-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices.
