They break down the matchups that will help decide how the postseason picture shakes out and what each team is facing heading into the final weekend of the regular season. The conversation includes a look at Panthers vs. Buccaneers, Seahawks vs. 49ers, and Steelers vs. Ravens, diving into what's at stake in each game and how the pressure ramps up with everything on the line. To wrap things up, they hand out New Year's resolutions for non-playoff teams, focusing on what needs to change, what can't be repeated, and how franchises should be thinking about the offseason. Jan. 1 – Ep. 85: For this episode of The Depot Dive, Ross McCorkle and Joe Clark recap the Steelers' disappointing loss to the Cleveland Browns and the position it's put them in for Week 18. We talk about the lack of offense, the missed opportunities, the WR struggles, and much more. Next, we preview the winner-takes-all game against the Ravens including the injury reports, matchups to watch, and what Pittsburgh needs to do to win. We also give score predictions. For the last topic, we try to get a handle on what this team actually is? Can they win a playoff game if they get in? What will happen to the roster and coaching staff if they don't? To end the show, we answer a listener question about comparing 2024 and 2025 seasons for some players. December 31, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 71 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the latest news concerning Pittsburgh Steelers as they start preparing for their Week 18 home game against the Baltimore Ravens. The Steelers have made a few practice squad moves so far this week so we go over those transactions and what they might mean for a few players looking to return this week from injuries such as CB Brandin Echols (groin) and CB James Pierre (calf). Steelers HC Mike Tomlin held his weekly press conference on Tuesday and as usual, Alex and I parse all of the notable things that he had to say to the media. We discuss his comments on the health of the team heading into Week 18. We go over TE Darnell Washington (arm) being ruled out for this week and the possibility of him being placed on the Reserve/Injured list before Sunday's kickoff. We also discuss what Tomlin had to say about the possible return this week from injuries of OLB T.J. Watt (lung), G Isaac Seumalo, and WR Calvin Austin III (hamstring). Tomlin talked about the limited usage of WR Roman Wilson in Week 17, so we discuss his answer on that topic. We also talk about what Tomlin had to say about the usage of TE Pat Freiermuth and TE Jonnu Smith, both in Week 17 and moving forward into the regular season finale against the Ravens. Former Steelers WR Hines Ward once again failed to be named a Pro Football Hall of Fame finalists this past week, so Alex and I discuss that news. We go over what might be needed moving forward to at least see Ward named a finalist in the coming years. Alex and I begin our weekly recap of the All-22 tape of the Steelers' last game, the Sunday afternoon road win against the Cleveland Browns. We start on the offensive side of the football and spend a lot of time discussing the play of several individual players. We review, in detail, the play of QB Aaron Rodgers and WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling against the Browns. We also make sure to focus tighter on the final three offensive possessions the Steelers had against Cleveland. After thoroughly discussing the offensive tape from Week 17, Alex and I then do the same when it comes to the defensive side of the football. We discuss the Steelers defense having a good game overall after a shaky start in the contest, which resulted in the Browns jumping out to a 10-0 lead. We go over a few missed plays on defense and how that unit ultimately did enough to help the team win in Cleveland. This 112-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Tonight's call-in show takes an unexpected emotional turn when Kyle from Madison shares the devastating news of his stepfather Doug's sudden passing—the man who made him the Packer fan he is today. Despite his loss, Kyle honored Doug by attending the game with family, delivering a powerful reminder of what football really means to this community. Callers unload on a defense that got absolutely bulldozed by the Ravens, with one fan describing the embarrassing performance from his all-22 vantage point. The Rashaan Gary discussion heats up as multiple callers question his future, noting that Micah Parsons never once gave him props all season—what did Parsons see that we didn't? Plus, Ryan shuts down the Travon Diggs hype train before it leaves the station, reminding everyone that waived players get cut for a reason. The conversation turns philosophical as we examine the "shiny object" fan mentality that always wants to fire someone, trade for someone, and believes everything we have is terrible while everything else is better. Midweek brought real news — and it forced a reality check. With Nate Hobbs and Kamal Hadden officially out for the season, the Packers made a surprising but necessary move by claiming Trevon Diggs off waivers. We break down why Green Bay felt compelled to spend real money, why Diggs could realistically start in the playoffs, and how thin the cornerback room truly is right now.We also address the Ravens loss, but not from a box score perspective. Malik Willis played near flawless football. The offensive game plan worked. The real problems were structural: no center depth, a broken interior offensive line, failed draft investments, and a defensive front that simply cannot survive bully-ball football. From Sean Rhyan snapping issues, to the inability to stop Derrick Henry, to Rashan Gary's alarming regression, this episode is about identifying personnel failures, not blaming play calling or effort. Finally, we shift to what actually matters now: Week 18. With the Packers locked into the 7 seed, we lay out exactly who must sit, who should play, how the roster should be managed, and why this game is about asset protection, health, and information — not winning. This is a reset episode. Less emotion. More clarity. And a hard look at how the Packers got here.

Welcome to Steelers Morning Rush, our new daily short-form podcast with Alan Saunders, giving a longer perspective on a single news topic surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers or the National Football League. Today, it's the showdown between Mike Tomlin and John Harbaugh, the embattled head coaches of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens. Both coaches, the longest tenured members of the NFL fraternity with one team, have been under fire lately, with the Ravens under-performing expectations amid reports of strife between the organization and star quarterback Lamar Jackson. In Pittsburgh, Tomlin has been unable to raise the team's ceiling beyond simply contending for a playoff spot. Would either team be better off without their coach, and what kind of spectacle would a true loser-leaves-town match create? Alan breaks it down. Learn more about your ad choices.
