America is in need of a spiritual awakening, it's not a world issue. It's a heart issue
Physical obedience in fasting and prayer produces spiritual outcomes. When we fast and pray we release God's heaven onto our lives.
Urgency forces us out of complacency and into dependency on God! When there are no urgency, there is no dependency. Fullness produces forgetfulness.
Fasting is spiritual warfare! We are fighting a spiritual battle, so we need to fight with spiritual weapons. This week we learned about how to use fasting as a spiritual weapon.
This week we started a new series about fasting for breakthrough. Pastor reminded us that if we want something we never have had before, we need to be willing to do something we've never done before. What is something that you can do that you've never done before? Wether that be simply raising your hands in worship, or a fast. Try something new and see where God takes you. We pray that this week God meets you. That God shows you a new part of him.
This week of Heart Healthy pastor reminded us that hope is a confident expectation of a better future that my tomorrow will be better than my today and my yesterday. He reminded us that God is the source of hope. That God gives hope. Hope to our spirit is what oxygen is to our bodies. We can't live without hope. We pray that this week is a hope filled week, and one that you experience the tangible spirit of God.
This week Pastor Ed Russo talked about keeping our hearts spiritually healthy. He explained that proper alignment requires periodic adjustment, and that we need to allow God to do the alignment in our hearts. Pastor also reminded the congregation that God doesn't just check the surface of our hearts, he does a deep searching. We pray this message touches your heart and brings you closer to God.
We had the privilege of having Pastor Kurt Schaer speaking this past week. This week Pastor Kurt talked about having a pure heart, and a merry heart. He gave a few practical steps in to having a merry heart; abide in the vine, good music, take care of your body, laugh often, do something for someone, quit procrastinating, siphon joy from others, keeps a record of your blessings. We pray that this week is filled with joy and laughter!

He spoke about how the content of our hearts determines the content of our conversations, and the content of our hearts dictates our conduct and character.
