We’re reaching back into season 1 to bring a fan favorite episode, in case you missed it. Here’s “Put Your Dick Away, Jim” where we discuss one of our more infamous killers in the first half, and the mystery of the Sims family in the second half. The Bunch has some very tasty, very strong sangria and a rather large brunch. Jo delivers our first story, a family affair revolving around Vivan Miranda, Santeria, and demon possession. Rachel’s unsolved tale is the mysterious and influential account of governess Hazel Drew, her shirtwaist, and her getaway trip.

Season 2 getting properly under way with a longer-than-usual episode, but Rachel’s first story of Saverio Bellante is too interesting and we have a lot to say. This episode also introduces us to our new favorite drink. Jo follows up with a mysterious luxury hotel visit by one “Jennifer Fairgate” and some rather curious circumstances. The Murder Brunch Bunch is back with our Season 2 Series Premier! We have quite the brunch feast - egg themed of course - while discussing our new Patreon and our usual two tales of murder and mayhem. Jo recounts the story of James Ruppert and the “Easter Sunday Massacre,” while Rachel talks about the very sad disappearance of Amy Lynn Bradley. It’s the Murder Brunch Bunch’s season 1 finale. The first tale of Sonia Risken has more twists than a kicked pig. The second tale has more mystery than the Bunch has rum, plus lead masks and raincoats. The brunch… is to die for. Cocktail: Moscow Mule (Part ginger beer, part dark rum, All delicious) Story A: Many turns and twists in this elaborate tale of Sonia Rios Risken. Story B: Manoel Pereira da Cruz and Miguel José Viana wear lead masks, but why?

Come banana jam out with the Murder Brunch Bunch in our penultimate episode as we dig into iconic members of the Dutch Resistance; then a short but very sad tale of a missing person . Cocktail: Dutch Courage (Gin, Advocat (Egg nog),Apple Juice, Lemon Juice) Story A: The incredible tale of Hannie Schaft and the Oversteegen sisters, Truus and Freddie. Story B: The sad disappearance of Cherrie Mahan.

For brunch, the Bunch has breakfast sandwiches, bacon, pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin seeds, fresh fruit, and hash browns while first discussing Bill and Anne Stout; then, the mystery of Mike Mansholt. Cocktail: Pink Mimosa (a classic, with a pink twist) Story A: Adultery and murder in Montana with the Stouts. Story B: The unsolved tragedy of Mike Mansholt

This episode brings us another fun look at a fictional story of murders with the Brewster sisters. Then back to true crime with an unsolved murder in Alaska. Cocktail: Frozen Coffee(with caramel Vodka) Story A: Where do the infamous Brewster Sisters fall on the Scale of Evil? Story B: 1982, Craig Alaska, the Coulthurst family and deckhands killed on a fishing boat.

The Brunch Bunch has a lot of rum and discusses football and murder in the tale of Bruno Fernandes. Then, the lengthy stalking and mysterious death of Cindy Hack. Cocktail: Caipirinha (It’s a lot of rum) Story A: Convicted murderer and professional footballer, Bruno Fernandes de Souza Story B: Seven years of stalking and eventual mysterious death of Cindy Elizabeth Hack James

It’s time for mimosas, mayhem, and murder as the Bunch discusses two very tragic stories of women Kitty Genovese and Dorothy Forstein. Cocktail: Mimosa (A classic) Story A: The infamous and tragic death of Kitty Genovese. Story B: The disappearance of Dorothy Forstein.

The Murder Brunch Bunch sets their attention on the past and discusses The Blood Countess, Elizabeth Báthory. Then, to the more recent and unsolved murder of Blair Adams. Cocktail: Mad Hungarian (Root Beer, Coconut Rum!) Story A: Countess Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed supposedly bathed in the blood of virgins. Story B: The mysterious death of Blair Adams and the very unusual events leading up to it.

We return to our regular schedule and the Bunch discusses an infamous cult in the first half of our brunch. The second half visits the cold case of the Sims family. Happy Halloween! Let’s take a break from the routine and explore the creepy, kooky, and spooky. There is still murder and mayhem, but with a Halloween Twist. Cocktail: Caramel Apples (cider/vodka, not the candy coated fruit) Story A: A real life “ghost” story about “The Human.” Story B: The murder of Sister Tadea Benz and the mysterious deaths that followed. Story C: The story of Robert Eugene Otto and his creepy, creepy doll.

Our third episode is a special episode, deviating from the standard format. This is the first literary character that the Murder Brunch Bunch will discuss and place on Dr. Michael Stone’s Scale of Evil. First, we dive into the fictional murders of He Who Must Not Be Named, and then discuss muskrats and more. Cocktail: The Lord Voldemort (The Cocktail that Must Not Be Named) Story A: Rachel delivers a detailed look at the murders of Tom Riddle. Story B: See what Jo has to say about the infamous “Boy in the Box”
