This is The Beer Is Fundamental Show. This is Episode 146 and we want to welcome you once again to the NeighBeerHood where craft beer is always the talk of the town. We are your hosts, BT aka O-Beer-Wan Kenobi the Jedi Knight of craft beer and Lady T. We go to Disney a lot. We are Disney Passholders. We've been passholder since 2015. But we readily admit that we haven't even scratched the surface of what all Disney has to offer. It could be becuse we spend so much time at EPCOT. Don't let anyone tell you different. EPCOT is for adults. But I digress. We definitely do not take advantage of Disney Springs. Our introduction to The Edison is proof of that. We were able to attend the 2nd Annual Bartender's Bash at The Edison and it was so much fun. As they say, "There are no bartenders here. Only mixologists." That is an understatement. The Bartender's Bash is where eight of Central Florida's top mixologists compete with their handcrafted cocktails. Guests are able to sample and vote while indulging in perfectly paired bites prepared by The Edison. There's live entertainment and a silent auction with proceeds going to Give Kids the World Village. We did something a little different with this live show. We decided to keep the background noise. We're not sure how we feel about it. Lady T, who is usually camera ready with great pictures was totally off of her game. However, we still enjoyed ourselves. Hopefully, you enjoy the show. This week, we are joined by industry entrepreneur and hospitality guru, Sean Finter, bar coach of Finter Group, and founder of the consulting firm, Barmetrix. During his years as a consultant, he and his team opened 26 offices in 8 countries, but at huge cost to his health and personal life. In many ways, he conquered the bar consultancy world, yet lost a great deal of himself in the process. So tune in as we learn firsthand about the hard lessons learned by such a titan of the industry, and what he can pass along to those coming up in the industry today. Most entrepreneurs fail not because they lack business knowledge, but because they're psychologically unprepared for the journey. Trust me, I learned this the hard way. After building my $100 million coaching company, I'm sharing the 20 books that provided the mental framework for my success. Out of over 1,000 books I consumed during my entrepreneurial journey, these are the only ones that actually moved the needle. In this deep-dive episode, I'm giving you my complete ranking system and explaining why mindset work isn't just "nice to have" – it's the difference between entrepreneurs who scale and those who sabotage themselves. What Makes This Different: Real rankings based on my 9-figure business results, not theoretical advice Insights from working with 6,000+ coaching clients across all revenue levels My honest assessment of which books are life-changing vs. just "really good" Specific examples of how each book category applies to business challenges I've faced The psychology behind why I think successful entrepreneurs think differently Key Topics I Cover: The map of consciousness and how I discovered emotional states affect business output Why I learned negative emotions are messengers (not enemies) in entrepreneurship My scientific approach to manifestation and goal achievement Copywriting fundamentals that convert cold traffic (I still use these) Ancient leadership principles I apply to modern business challenges How I create systems that generate profit automatically The difference between attachment and awareness in business building Want to see the visual breakdown? In this episode, we explore the aftermath of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn the Chevron doctrine through the Loper Bright case, examining its impact on the regulatory landscape in America. In just the first six months after Loper Bright was decided, courts cited the case more than 400 times, leading to the invalidation of new agency rules 84% of the time. This has affected policies ranging from net neutrality to labor regulations to environmental protections. We delve into how Loper Bright has already reshaped American regulatory policy. We also look into how the Trump administration's strategic use of Loper Bright to dismantle Biden-era rules, directing agencies to identify regulations that may be vulnerable under this new legal framework. But is the celebration over Chevron's demise premature? Some legal experts describe Loper Bright as “a Rorschach test inside a crystal ball” suggesting theat its impact might be more complex than anticipated, with different interpretations emerging. Featuring: Helgi Walker, partner at Gibson Dunn and co-chair of their administrative law and regulatory practice group Rebecca Rainey, senior labor department reporter for Bloomberg Law Cary Coglianese, professor at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and director of the Penn Program on Regulation

Wells is sharing all the behind-the-scenes from his return as the Bartender this season. Good Morning America might not have remembered his name, but after this season's BIP interviews… no one will forget him! Today is a special one because not only is Brandi in town recording from Wells' new Masters-themed studio, but Wells' mom is also visiting and getting her first taste of ChatGPT — aka “Smarty Pants,” the 14-year-old AI boy who is way too friendly. We also get Wells' take on things we should and shouldn't be taught to worry about and a certain 2025 phrase that must be stopped! They've even got some favorite things, bros! Brandi finished The Better Sister, started We Were Liars, and Wells' stepdad discovered a sleeper classic called Tortilla Soup. And the cherry on top? We're blessed with a sneak peek of Brandi's remix of Kelsea Ballerini's song, Penthouse. Thank you to our sponsors: Article: Go to article.com/yft for $50 off your first purchase of $100 or more.
