Musings and meditations and mentors and music and merrymakers and malcontents.
Surprise! I didnt die. im still kicking and i still do have opinions and things to say. sorry for the hiatus. i love you
This summer series is full of short kings. People dig that right? or at least respect them? The episodes are kings. The duration is short. the Sun is HOT and i am melting. Im a professional. trust me
hey look. Its my dad. sorry that you can hear my mum doing dishes and watching tv in another room, if you have complaints, you'd best have a better sounding podcast. i would love to hear it. Eat a fart otherwise Love you all!
I had a half finished episode and it wasn't the kind of quality you expect from this high quality podcast. so have some Pooh instead.
Alright. If you're a nerd, you'll catch some crazy good references in this episode. And if you arent, its a short episode where i basically am super boring. I hope you have a time. Read a book. Love you all.
I did a thing. I went tripping. On the road for long hours, snapping photos of big things along the way. I feel great afterwards. The trip was a grand blessing, and i appreciated every inch of it.
Happy Canada Day, and for my Indigenous followers, I'm sorry that our country has failed and manipulated you. I am glad that progress is being made towards some semblance of reparations, even if it will never be enough. In the meantime, im going on a trip because everyone will be out celebrating. I am going to go enjoy this beautiful land we share. This episode I interview my sister Morgan. It was nice. Featuring the voices of Darryl, my weird uncle, and Michael, my weird Dad. I forgot to credit the song again. so here it is. Theme Song by Eagleboy and NX Panton.

This might be my chillest ep yet. Interviewed my big sister, was interrupted a little by a cute lil nephew of mine, and basically that's it. Looking forward to some localish events and planning a road trip in the near future has taken my mind space up this week. Next week, I might have a lot to talk about. North Country Fair is always eye opening. We shall see, thaanks for coming along on this weird ride.
Another episode where i talk to myself and spout all kinds of wisdom. Moral of the story is be good to each other. And remember you aint it baby.
I literally drove away for a road trip and had to turn around 15 km later because i forgot to upload this short episode. Imagine how embarrassing it would be if i went a week without an upload. My incredibly successful podcast would be a laughing stock. Enjoy these few musings, more musing next week as i try to align a FEW interviews and continue to work on some upcoming and incredibly ICONIC episodes expected in the future. Thanks for listening .Tell your friends..
Okay, so its a minefield out there. This episode is not for the faint-hearted, but if you know Lucas, you know what to expect. No refunds will be given for lost lunches. If you Proceed, you do so at your own risk. This episode is the most likely to result in my podcast never getting a real sponsorship. Thanks for listening and GOD DAMN I FORGOT TO CREDIT THE TITLE TRACK!! KILL ME DEAD.
Do you wanna watch a thing? https://youtu.be/pM70TROZQsI. theres the link to the Shrek Retold film i mentioned. Thats the key take away from this episode. thanks for listening
This was a fun recording, interviewed my favorite sibling Casi, and we had a real good time. We talk about sharing a seat, being scared of our parent's friends, and that time I abandoned my poor baby sister and she apparently never forgave me for it. We talk about my favorite person in the whole world, but the whole podcast is about me, so that should be obvious. But we ALSO talk about my SECOND favorite person in the whole world, my nephew Lexyn. And some other things that youll have to listen for. Still havent guessed my favorite movie. Someone is gonna figure it out one day, but i have to give everyone a chance to guess first, before I start giving too many hints.
good interview with James. boring show notes.. My twitter handle is @KnotPerfectYet. Feel free to follow me there if thats your thing.
I had exactly an hour and a half of quiet free time this week for my podcast and i wasted an hour ten of it on an interview that isn't even going into this episode. So you might hear noisy family in the background of the latter parts of this episode. It is short, but cute? In lieu of the rest of the episode, please listen to this Playlist of songs that I cant help but belt every chance I hear them. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7KSbBMi1ArmmjSmu9MVnOn?si=668ad00f3de845d5 Get it? Waistband leather? Belting?? Thanks again for listening to this show. I appreciate you all, see you next week for regular show shit.
I edited very little of my clicks and bumps and stuff because the sound came through pretty quiet during recording. There are going to be weird sound spikes, and probably jarring audio level transitions at the beginning and end of the interview portion. We talk at length about nerd shit, I cut a whole 15 minute section out because you, the audience dont need to hear how boring card game shit works. Enjoy, and on this one, feel very free to listen at 1.5x speed. its long, and our little chipmunk voices are pretty funny
I don't want to write a description for this episode. Its about a Fleetwood Mac Album from 45 years ago. Welcome to my podcast that doesn't have any solid themes or logic to it.
A lot of my feedback has been that my voice is calming, and that my podcast puts people to sleep. Heres both. Happy Sleeptime, Next week, normal(er) episode.
Umm, so like.. i mean theres an interview portion, and like, you know, etymology and stuff. soooo.. i mean, enjoy, but like also, im sorry that like, you know, its not real professional sounding, like, this interview was done when i like,, didnt really have my head like, around the podcast in the way it needed to like, be.. you know.. i mean, its good but like, probably like, annoying to hear. Forgive the filler words, the natural flow of the conversation required them, it was hard to cut any of it out. This episode, i look at the origins of the original, i speak a bit about wrestling, and i talk with a Zamboni Driver about Star wars and hip hop. "this podcast has the greatest guest list" - a future review. Enjoy the episode.
This episode cratered while i was recording it, and all i wanted to do was listen to Weezer's new EP. SZNZ: Spring I had to retake all of my solo portions and cut out all of the sniffles and dead air in the interview portion twice. Please enjoy. Im getting slowly better at this as the weeks go by. Pretty soon, i might even be proud of this nonsense. Thanks for the support. and dont forget to tell your friends about it.
Shakespeare, Storms and Sasquatch. Thats the episode. No interview, but i actually address my earliest musical memory in this episode. Sorry my show notes lied about it the first time.
A slight thought about what this show is supposed to accomplish. The basic human form of the baby who would become Bradley. My earliest musical memory if I can narrow it down. And in the guest segment, I speak about the beginning of my journey, with the most important person who was there, my mum.
