Marc Morial is the President/CEO of the National Urban League, the nation’s largest historic civil rights and urban advocacy organization. Under his leadership, the organization has worked to provide economic empowerment, education opportunities and guarantee of civil rights for the underserved in America. Son of the first African-American mayor of New Orleans who became mayor of New Orleans himself from 1994 to 2002. Marc is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Economics and African American Studies. He also holds a law degree from the Georgetown University. Marc was raised in a family that understands the importance of education and public service.
Arva Rice, is the President and CEO of the New York Urban League, an organization whose mission is to enable African Americans and other underserved communities to secure a first-class education, economic self-reliance and equal respect of their civil rights through programs, services and advocacy. She served as the Executive Director of Project Enterprise, an organization that provides business loans, and technical assistance to entrepreneurs and she also served as the founding Executive Director of Public Allies New York – a young adult leadership program dedicated to helping develop the next generation of non-profit leaders. Arva was also Program Director of an economic Literacy Initiative at Girls Incorporate, a national non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring girls to become strong, smart and bold. She is a graduate of the Annie E. Casey Foundation class of 2014, and is the recipient of several awards. She is a Commissioner for the NYC Equal Employment Practices Commission, a member of the Greater NY Chapter of The Links Inc. and a regular contributor to the Huffington Post.
Robert Carter is an illustrator, painter, an art professor who earned his Master of Fine Arts Degree at the Prestigious Pratt Institute of Fine Arts in New York. His paintings, drawings and illustrations are consistently in demand by collectors throughout the United States. As an artist/illustrator his work is in the permanent collections of museums and private collectors throughout the US while being represented in numerous art books and other related publications, as well as his work as a contract illustrator for major New York publishers. His artwork is prominently displayed since the 1970s throughout the Pat-Med elementary and middle schools. Robert is an adjunct professor of art at Nassau Community College, the State University of New York. He is a sought after lecturer and demonstrator in numerous public schools, universities and private art organizations.

Dr Icy Fergus, MD. is a practicing African American female Cardiologist (Heart Specialist) in New York, NY. Dr. Fergus graduated from State University of New York Upstate Medical University in 1992 and has been in practice for 27 years. Dr. Fergus also specializes in Internal Medicine. She currently practices at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and is affiliated with The Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai St Luke's Hospital. She has authored numerous articles related to heart disease in women and co-authored a book entitled “Cardiovascular Disease in Ethnic Minorities”. Dr. Fergus is very active in communities where health care disparities are present. During the month of February, she was featured on CBS, NBC and ABC stations for her work on raising awareness of Hearth Health during Heart Health Awareness month.
