Simon Mason is a former “chemist” to some of the biggest bands of the 90s and became the go-to guy for class A drugs to stars during the peak Britpop era. We chatted with Billy Moore, whose autobiographical account of imprisonment in a Thai jail, 'A Prayer Before Dawn', was turned into a 2017 Hollywood film starring Joe Cole. Billy told us how a tough upbringing in Liverpool led to addiction and crime before he moved to Bangkok for a clean break only to fall foul of the law again. He eventually won his release by competing in prison Thai Boxing matches, and along the way witnessed murder, corruption and even briefly converted to Islam.
