When he was drafted late in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft, some experts called Jordan Poole — the Golden State Warriors' selection — the worst pick of the draft. Three years later, Poole has emerged as a bona fide star, and provided the already talent-rich Warriors with another potent offensive threat. The Athletic's Sam Amick recently spoke with Poole about his rise to stardom, and Sam joins us to talk about Poole's remarkable ascent, and what lies ahead for the Warriors in this year's NBA Playoffs. The guys discuss the process of how Erling Haaland's transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City happened, whether Haaland's decision to move was made with his head or his heart, and the domino effect this could have on other moves this summer. We take a look at the title race in Italy with just two points separating Milan and Inter going into the final two games. And Jules tells us how former Lyon defender Marcelo was reportedly sacked by the club in January for constantly farting in the dressing room... (yes you read that right). TOPICS 02:50 – Process of Haaland's transfer 18:15 Impact on other transfers 29:22 - Champions League reforms 41:10 - Serie A title race 44:45 - Marcelo's flatulence

On the fifth time of asking a Major League Soccer club has finally won the CONCACAF Champions League. Seattle Sounders FC came in as favorites and came through some adversity with injuries early on, but in the end, their depth and quality shone through with a 3-0 win on the night and 5-2 on aggregate, the gold standard of MLS become the first US side to win the CCL. Erik and Sean discuss how big the moment really is, the players that made it happen, and what it means to be going to the FIFA Club World Cup as well. Also, the UEFA Champions League has an England vs Spain final as Liverpool dispatched Villarreal 5-2 on aggregate after a nervy first half that saw the Yellow Submarine make a comeback. However, this pales in comparison to the comeback the Spanish champions Real Madrid pulled off against Manchester City. After a quiet game, they exploded at the last minutes to force Extra Time and win it, in the end, to compete for their potentially 14th Champions League crown.
