I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'” — Psalm 91 : 1-2 (NIV) Recorded live in London, England — a global prayer of faith for God's divine covering, angelic safety and supernatural peace in every nation.Show NotesAcross the world, millions search “prayer for protection,” “divine covering,” and “God keep me safe.” Psalm 91 remains the most searched and spoken prayer of safety for believers in every generation. In this powerful daily devotional, Reverend Ben Cooper declares the timeless truth that the Lord is our fortress. From London to Lusaka, from Accra to Atlanta, the same God who covered Israel in the wilderness still guards His people today. When fear surrounds the nations, faith builds a refuge. When danger rises, the shadow of the Almighty stretches over His own. God's Word promises that those who dwell in His presence will find rest and security.Psalm 91 is not poetry alone — it is a covenant of protection. Every believer who abides under the blood of Jesus walks beneath the Father's covering. This is the season to rebuild trust in God's protection, not in human systems. As you listen, let the Word shield you from fear and fill you with courage. Your life is hidden with Christ in God — and no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Silver just broke the $50 mark last week, and it's stirring up the biggest buzz the bullion market's seen in decades. From London's sudden silver shortage to record-breaking lease rates, the pressure behind this move is unlike anything since the Warren Buffett era. Gold's holding strong near $4,000, and demand from both investors and industry is pushing supply to its limits. Listen now as senior analyst James Anderson breaks down what's really driving this historic silver surge—and what it means for everyday Americans watching from the sidelines.   Silver hit a historic milestone: Silver officially closed above $50 an ounce 10/10/2025 — the highest nominal weekly close ever in U.S. dollars. It's a major psychological mark the market's been eyeing for years. London's running short on big silver bars: 1,000-ounce bars — the kind traded between banks and refiners — are in tight supply. Lease rates in London skyrocketed to levels not seen since Warren Buffett's silver play back in 1998.

The war that we now call the American Revolution was not only fought in the colonies with muskets and bayonets. On both sides of the Atlantic, artists armed with paint, canvas, and wax played an integral role in forging revolutionary ideals. In The Painter's Fire: A Forgotten History of the Artists Who Championed the American Revolution (Harvard UP, 2025), Dr. Zara Anishanslin charts the intertwined lives of three such figures who dared to defy the British monarchy: Robert Edge Pine, Prince Demah, and Patience Wright. From London to Boston, from Jamaica to Paris, from Bath to Philadelphia, these largely forgotten patriots boldly risked their reputations and their lives to declare independence. Mostly excluded from formal political or military power, these artists and their circles fired salvos against the king on the walls of the Royal Academy as well as on the battlefields of North America. They used their talents to inspire rebellion, define American patriotism, and fashion a new political culture, often alongside more familiar revolutionary figures such as Benjamin Franklin and Phillis Wheatley. Pine, an award-winning British artist rumored to be of African descent, infused massive history paintings with politics and eventually emigrated to the young United States. Demah, the first identifiable enslaved portrait painter in America, was Pine's pupil in London before self-emancipating and enlisting to fight for the Patriot cause. And Wright, a Long Island–born wax sculptor who became a sensation in London, loudly advocated for revolution while acting as an informal patriot spy. Illuminating a transatlantic and cosmopolitan world of revolutionary fervor, The Painter's Fire reveals an extraordinary cohort whose experiences testify to both the promise and the limits of liberty in the founding era. This interview was conducted by Dr. Miranda Melcher whose book focuses on post-conflict military integration, understanding treaty negotiation and implementation in civil war contexts, with qualitative analysis of the Angolan and Mozambican civil wars. The trip winds through the Westonbirt Arboretum and an unforgettable boxwood deep-dive with a Baroque oboe maker, then into the V&A's technique-curated furniture gallery. In the Cotswolds, Rodmarton Manor (Barnsley/Gimson) and the Gordon Russell Museum spark lessons in design “grammar,” chamfers, and English drawer slips you'll want to steal.
